Cognitive Triggers
Cognitive triggers have to do with what is going on in your mind, the thoughts that come from subconscious programs that informed your beliefs even before you were aware of it and which you now believe about yourself, the world and others.
To look at your cognitive triggers, you have to get really honest with yourself and strengthen your conviction to being held accountable internally, to asking for transparency from others who can reflect at the high frequency you want to move into.
The words you speak reflect your thoughts (unless you are someone who channels). A good rule of thumb is that if it comes out of your mouth, it’s a thought.
If you have thoughts that worry about the past (guilt, shame, remorse) or worry about the future, the key is to remember that — if you are present and alive, in this moment — nothing is wrong. Right now has already happened. By the time you are consciously aware of what has happened, it has already happened and you are into the next moment.
Unless you are building solidly in guidance from the divine, your thoughts will be painful. People have this belief that you have to “figure things out,” but when you are in guidance from the divine, you are not figuring things out. Looking at the words you speak, you can see where you still hold the belief that you are separate from the divine. Until you can get into the divine observer space, it is pointless to analyze your thoughts.
When you commune with the divine, your thoughts are guided. It is important to start to develop a daily spiritual practice of communing with the divine, so you can attune yourself and learn to catch yourself when you start to slip out of that divine connection.
