Hello everyone and welcome. I’m Jennifer Urezzio, Super Power Expert and founder of Soul Language and this is SuperPowers of the Soul.
Today, I’m with Linda Lang and our topic is Magic Happens.
Welcome Linda.
Hi Jennifer, it’s fantastic to be here with you.
I’m so excited about this topic. It’s a rainy day here in New Jersey and I could always use a little magic and as everyone knows who’s listening to the show, I always like to start the show with this question. What do you consider a superpower of your soul?
Well, I think that’s a fascinating question and one really makes a person think about themselves. So I appreciate the question. I’m going to answer it with a skill that is second nature to me. It’s not something I had to work at and it’s actually the skill of listening.
As an empath, I listen not just to the words but to the energy in the words, the energy in the space, the energy of a person’s whole energy system. It can actually give you quite a bit of insight when you listen that deeply. Listening is very healing for the other person as well. We all really crave to be listened to, I think, and not to be judged, but just to be heard and accepted where we are. So that’s what I’ll say my superpower is that I’ll present to the audience today.
Beautiful. How does that superpower work for yourself? Like how does that profound listening, how have you used that super power for yourself in your own life?
Oh, I use it all the time and I just got goosebumps actually as you asked that question. An example would be when I’m working with a client and I’m really able to kind of tune in and hone into the energy behind what they’re saying. So sometimes, they’ll say something that they really don’t believe, maybe they’d like to believe, but their energy system is totally disagreeing. Or they think that something is okay, but I can feel exactly where in the energy system it’s kind of creating a disturbance, let’s say. It’s an extremely useful tool. It’s very easy for me to tell when people are connected with their heart and communicating and expressing kind of that soul quality of communication.
But let’s go back because I want to know how you use that listening for yourself. I think so often we forget that our super powers are for ourselves first.
Oh yeah.
Yeah. So how does that profound listening, how has it supported your life and your development and your expansion?
Oh, absolutely. I can listen, can tune in and listen to my own energy system as well. So that skill actually helped me to heal myself from a very aggressive cancer, knowing what I walked away from the medical community and just listening to my own body responses guided me through what supplements to take, what modalities to use in my healing and how to heal myself. This was 35 years ago and at that time, they gave me a year to live. So it worked for me incredibly.
Yeah, it sounds it. So I have a real interesting question about that. So often, when people are especially going through a challenge like that, they can falter on their trust about that deep listening. So how did you really sit into it and trust it profoundly? Because I think that is something that people really need to understand.
Yeah. It is a really good question. I think the thing for me is I have a group of guides, we all have a group of guides that is spirit guides, guardian angels that really, they go to task for us and I don’t think they gave up on me. So they kept bringing me messages, bringing me messages. I think probably the tipping point for me was a repetitive dream that I had when I was first diagnosed and I was having to decide on some radical surgery.
I had this dream three nights in a row and it really guided me to not do the surgery. There was no chemotherapy or radiation involved in the treatment plan that the doctors were presenting to me, only this radical surgery with kind of let’s cross our fingers and hope for the best kind of results, which really wasn’t good enough for me.
I was 22 at the time with a husband and a young baby. It’s just that it didn’t cut it for me. This dream had such an energy to it. It’s really interesting because I’ve told people this dream and they were really surprised at how I interpreted it. They thought that it would mean I should have the surgery, but when you explain something, you have to tune into that energy of it and that energy was like, “I would be hit by a train if I don’t stop.”
Not good. Yeah, not good.
Not good. So yeah, it’s been a real miracle story.
I love that. So our soul usually shares a big theme throughout our lives with us. What has been the big common theme of your soul?
Wow, you sure ask big questions.
Yeah, I dig down deep.
I love it. I love it though. I’m a very spiritually oriented person and I think the big theme that’s come through in my life is how connected we are. How we’re so much more than this body, how we have so much power in our life to create, how we’re here for the experience of life and how no matter what, Jennifer, we are loved more than we can imagine, more than these human brains can fathom.
It’s a good theme. I think it’s a powerful theme, especially when you had some amazing experience at that so young, that then you could build on that and incorporate that from early on. So that’s amazing. Before we go to our break, let everyone know how to get in touch with you.
Absolutely. So listeners can visit my website at thoughtchange.com.
