Hello everyone and welcome. I’m Jennifer Urezzio, Super Power Expert and founder of Soul Language, and this is SuperPowers of your Soul and I’m with Lia Dunlap today and we’re talking about how to change the world as your purpose. Welcome.
Thank you so much for having me here, Jennifer.
You’re so welcome. So I would love to play with purpose and understand it, but I want to start off with getting you engaged with our listeners and our audience by discussing what you consider your superpower of your soul.
Well for me, I think that one of the greatest superpowers I have is an alignment to my Oracle gift and the connection to a deeper understanding of humanity and the love for humanity as a whole and in the opportunity and possibility of what it means to be human in this world and how we can really bring light to the entire universe by being ourselves and being on purpose.
Fine, that sounds very Olympian which is a soul language, by the way. We talk a lot about sacred purpose and I think purpose, there’s so much metaphysical mumbo jumbo out there about purpose. And I think people get really locked down because they think that their purpose is about doing and it’s really about fundamentally being, and then from that overflow being able to share that experience with others and then the delivery systems that doing shows up. With that definition, what do you consider your sacred purpose?
For me, I think it’s to help others find clarity, to find the clarity of knowing who they are. That’s really what it comes down to really be able to see and appreciate an individual’s unique talents.
So with that definition though, what do you consider your sacred purpose for yourself in that kind of context?
For me in my own context, I think to just show up and honor the channel that I am as an Oracle, to be very clear in my own life of what it is I’m here to offer people. So I really try to just remain clear to my own guidance and stay true to that energy that flows through me.
Understood, our soul is always sharing these big themes for us, and sometimes that’s that big theme of our humanness and sometimes it’s the soul’s big theme. What have been some big themes that your soul has shared with you throughout your journey?
Wow. Yeah, that’s a great question. I love that. I would always say that there are these moments which I like to call my two by four moments in my life where the soul whispers and then I think it kind of pops you upside the head sometimes and just shakes you and says, look, you’ve got to be paying attention to this.
There have been moments in my life where I feel like the biggest one that kind of just really rushes back to me right now is the time when I had to walk away from my first marriage. Literally walk away with the clothes on my back and 53 cents in my pocket because I knew that the life I was in with an addicted husband, we were living in a car that was borrowed, and I woke up to find him use our last few dollars to buy drugs.
I looked around and I recognized that this was not the life that the universe intended for me, and I really had to look at what I truly wanted my life to look like. And I know that that’s something I take forward in my work is to always talk to people about what is it you want really? Because I think we spend so much time looking at what we don’t want, don’t want to have, and we get trapped in that theory and that spiral.
I think that was the moment when I was like, I need to focus on what I really want to have my life look like and I need to find a way to go off and do that now. And luckily I did.
Yeah, that’s a really powerful story, and I think that sometimes those two by fours as you said. And the funny thing is I’ve actually been hit by a two by four. New York city street walking around and all of a sudden I was like, what? And the guy with this giant two by four is like.
Wow. Oh my goodness.
I remember the moment so clearly because I was walking to my corporate job thinking, what am I doing? I hate this, I hate these people. We’re not doing anything that’s going to change the world. Who cares? It was about a couple of years before the two by four moments actually sunk in.
I think so often we’re kind of waiting for the golden ticket moment when it comes to our purpose and we don’t need to get to the golden ticket moment because there’s a lot of moments before that and we’ll talk about that after the break.
I think so often people are looking for, here’s your purpose and the flags and there’s a ceremony and you’ve been getting that information all along. So literally you have to have been hit by a two by four before you get it.
So my last question before the break is, you talked a little bit about how being an Oracle, how you support others. Can you go briefly into that a little more about how your soul is here to provide others with support?
Absolutely. Yeah. I found out that I was an Oracle when I was 14 years old when I recognized a situation happen in my life that was other-worldly and I was old enough for myself to realize something different was happening for me and the message I literally got was that I was here on purpose, like clear as day.
With that open awareness, what I saw for myself in my journey as a human being this time around, as I’ve come to understand has been many thousands of times around, is to really hold the sanctity of that space and giving people this intense, what I would describe it as a container for that unveiling and holding that intention that they see that in themselves, but that I can recognize it.
I really love what you just said, like it’s not me showing you what your purpose is. It’s me giving you the space to uncover for yourself all those little leanings that you’ve heard, all those ways that you are already naturally living your purpose but maybe not so much on purpose.
So, that’s my goal is to kind of look at how people are doing that and I think that’s what I bring to the table is I talk about it, I think it’s like spatial Tetris. I can see all these pieces of something that someone’s working with and I can see how it all flows together, and by creating that picture in front of them, then they get to see it for themselves. But it’s always theirs. It’s always been theirs.
Oh, I agree. I often have that ability to see the movement of people, meaning not that business, but that hundred-year movement and to me, it’s all unfolding all at once and it is kind of like, okay, we need to move this part and move that over there. And so it is like a giant game of Tetris in my head.
I think so often there’s this moment of absolute bliss when the purpose that you’re focusing on being that purpose so clearly that the delivery system lines up with it and that’s when it all kind of starts to click in place. We would both be doing our purpose as bartenders, sucky delivery systems, but we would both be doing our purpose. People would still be coming up and asking those questions.
Absolutely. Yes
So before we break here, what is the way that people can get in touch with you?
Yeah, it’s really simple. They can actually do a really quick quiz it’s called the Power Biz Quiz and it’s really great because in that quiz it talks about their purpose, it helps them to figure out what their alignment is. I think that’s like you said, that’s the big key. Like how far out of alignment are you? and once you take that quiz, it’ll give you the option to talk a little bit more with me directly.
Beautiful. Okay, I’d like everybody to stay tuned because there are more SuperPowers of the Soul, and we’re talking today about how to change the world being you.
