This episode explores the invitation at the beginning of the book. Tonya didn’t set out to write a book, she just followed the directive to write every Friday and the book unfolded. After the pandemic she got the directive to get it out to the world. Hello everyone, and welcome back to The Science of Superpowers. Thank you so much for joining us again. I’m really excited about this episode. This is one of the series of episodes where we’re diving into the experience of The Science of Superpowers book. For those of you who have reserved your copy or who are following along with us in the Superpower Universe Plus Membership, thank you. We appreciate the fact that you’re adding your energy and your creative element into this entire experiential unfoldment of this book. This book that came through in 2017 with very clear directives of, every Friday, sit down and write. It didn’t matter if I had a thought in my head about the book or not, it just happened and it unfolded itself. And then it sat there until after the pandemic, when the very clear directions came to get it into the world, to publish it, and to create the experience around it. It’s not simply the content of the book, it’s the experience of it, it’s the transmission of it, it is what it illustrates for all of us, the hope that lies in front of us.

And so, when we look at the book, I hesitate even to call it a book because it is obviously the body of work that’s been developing formally within me since the mid-90s, of course, informally my entire existences and those of all of us. This work continues to unfold and teach us and reveal things to us. It’s no different than all the other forms of universal truth, it’s just held in a different container with different vernacular, we build a different framework, we have different marching orders, maybe the specificities of them, how they come through are different. But ultimately, the path is the path for all of us, we’re just walking it differently. And so, it’s important that you find the things that you resonate with, the material that works for you.

The superpower stuff ended up working really well for us. And even a lot of folks that it doesn’t resonate with initially, if they work with the material, they will find resonance with it. In fact, the brilliance of combining the material, physical sort of traditional constructs into the spiritual esoteric sort of high vibrational ones through the mechanism of the superpowers really is quite brilliant because it incorporates everything from our innate gifts, our divine kind of spiritually given gifts, the miraculous, but as well as the construct of the developmental journey of the psychology of the hero’s journey, it is the sweet spot if you give it a chance, as weird as it might feel.

It was totally foreign to me. I was not into superpowers or any of that construct. And so, it was a weird thing to be guided into. But through my resistance and being willingness to meet my resistance, again, in the conversation with the Divine so it could inform me about my resistance and help me integrate it, I was able to see the brilliance of it in it. So I invite you all to do the same.

So right now after talking about The Invitation, while you sit back and take a deep breath, we’re going to go into a break here. But before we do, remember that this stuff is so much easier in the community. It’s so much easier to maintain a high frequency, a high vibration, to stay true to your own standard that you’ve set for yourself, the accountability factor when you’ve allowed yourself to grow transparently in the presence of others. I understand that there are sounds in the background, but if you’re clear, you can listen to the intonation of the material coming through, and you never have to notice that. And so, be cautious about where our smaller kinds of lower frequency aspects want to draw us off course as a distraction to our commitments. And that’s another really amazing illustration, quite profound, of why it’s important to have community. Not to make you follow the rules and so that you can be just like everybody else, but instead, to join with you in support of your walk is really crucial.
