How do we heal the racism that exists in our nation and around the world? In today’s episode, SLSP host Tatiana Berindei interviews healer and channel Jerome Braggs about the narcissist-empath relationship that systems of oppression have perpetuated between white and black people in America and what is required to heal that relationship. Courageous and profound, this conversation is perfect for anyone of any race or color looking to contribute deep healing to this systemic issue.
Hello, everyone, and welcome to the Sex, Love and SuperPowers podcast show. I’m your host, Tatiana Berindei, and today we have, again, one of my favorite guests, Jerome Braggs, and our conversation today is going to be a little bit different. We’re going to be talking about racism and ancestral healing. Jerome has been bringing forward some really powerful information in regards to what’s happening today in our country and beyond, and so I feel just really honored and blessed to have him again. Jerome, you are the only person who I’ve had on this show three times. So I just, I really appreciate you so much. Yes, and I just want to say thank you for saying yes to this.
Thank you for having me. I am honored three times over.
For our listeners, if you have not yet gone and checked out the episode How to Love Yourself Wholly, and Sexual Healing and Spiritual Growth, these are two conversations that I’ve already had with Jerome on the show. So please, please, please go and listen to those as well, so you can get a deeper taste of him in a different context.
Like I said, we’re going to be diving into racism and ancestral healing today. It’s not really a light topic, but I have a feeling that we’re going to bring it forward. My hope is that we’re going to bring it forward in a really respectful way. So that’s my prayer with this, because it is a hot topic, and there is so much nuance to it, and this is real. We’ve got this, we’re making it real.
So we’re going to go to a break before we dive into this topic so that it can be completely uninterrupted, and before we go to that break, Jerome, I am going to ask you to once again share your superpowers with our audience.
I think my superpowers are my words, my writing, and my ability to love myself.
I think one of my favorite things about you is how unafraid and just how willing you are to blatantly love yourself in front of everybody. I love that so much about you, and the way you do it, it’s not ego-driven, it’s just like, I love myself and I’m not afraid to let you know that I love myself. It’s so powerful.
There’s a story behind that. I’ll make it super quick.
Okay.
So, many years ago when I was first coming into trying to work for myself, and I was working as a business mentor and a speaker at that time, and I went to this speaking training. There was a speaker who was telling this story, and the main message from the story was about how your real work is to love yourself and let them watch.
He had a little poster of it up on the board, and after he finished speaking, I begged him, “Can I have that poster?” He gave it to me, and so in my home, in my office, I have this poster that hangs, that says, “Love yourself and let them watch.” When I brought it home, I said, this is going to be the way I live my life.
Now, I wasn’t doing that well at that time, not anywhere that, but that was my intention, that that was my real service to the world, that I was going to just love myself out loud in public so that people can see what that looks like.
Yeah, and you’re doing it, and I love it. I love it.
Thank you.
Okay, so we’re going to break. Will you tell everyone where they can go to find out more about you and your work?
Yeah. My website is jeromebraggs.com and my Facebook page is facebook.com/coachjeromebraggs, and my Instagram is jerome_braggs.
Awesome. Definitely go check him out on social media because he’s bringing forward some really potent stuff, especially in regards to the racism topic. So, all right, stay tuned. We’re going to dive in. You’re going to fasten your seatbelts for this one, everyone, because we’re going to take off. All right. We’ll be right back.
