Energy healing can be an effective way to achieve natural pain relief. But how energy works to relieve the pain can be confusing. Sharon Smith, who has been in the business of helping people release pain since 2005, joins AngelaMarίa on the High Frequency Healing Show. What she has discovered is that pain is actually a finely calibrated information system in the body. It’s here to help us, not harm us, and is trying to communicate some important things about our bodies and our lives. Listen in as Sharon shares with AngelaMaría how she is here to change people’s perspective about pain and the proven system allows us to both access the information while also releasing the pain quickly and effectively.

Sharon has been in the business of helping people release pain since 2005. What she has discovered is that pain is actually our finely calibrated information system in the body. She’s here to change people’s perspective about pain and she has developed a proven system that allows us to both access the information while also releasing the pain quickly and effectively.

Please join me to welcome Sharon Smith. Hello Sharon. Thank you for being here.

Thank you, AngelaMaría. It’s lovely to be here. How Energy Works. This is fun.

Yes, it’s awesome. You’re going to love this time together. And my first question is, what is your healing superpower?

I have more than one, but my best superpower is my ability to quickly and efficiently help someone see what’s really causing their pain. And physical and emotional pain are actually kind of the same thing. Emotional pain is the precursor to what shows up in our physical experience. And a lot of times we’re having physical pain and we don’t know how to listen to it. I can quickly and easily help people get in touch with that so that they can begin to listen. It’s a dialogue and I’m able to open the door for it.

And I love it because you already answered some of my questions. So before getting into the topic, would you please take us back to your early years and name one memorable life lesson that is useful for you today?

Well it would be when I first started actually practicing. I had known about EFT for quite some years and I had had back pain, lower back pain and hip pain since I was in my teens. And in 2002, I kind of woke up, I leaned over to put a cup in the dishwasher and I couldn’t straighten up and I was 45 years old at the time, I was in shape, I had a regular yoga practice, but I had a lot of stress in my life. I laid in bed for a week, whacked out on muscle relaxants and painkillers, and I made myself a promise. I was going to figure out just why this was happening to me because there was no clear physical reason for it. So fast forward, that was 2002, I had known about EFT. I’d read about it in Joe Mercola’s newsletter, which used to actually come in the mail.

I’d read about it and I thought, oh yeah, that tapping stuff, that’s kind of interesting, but I don’t know what you’d ever do with it or how you’d really use it. So it was in the back of my head. Then one day, and this is my big aha moment, one day I went to have a massage with a woman that’s a friend of mine and she met me at the door and she says, “Oh my gosh, you’ve got to see this list. I’m so excited.” And I said, “Of what?” And she said, “Well, it’s just a list of everything. And it was in a book called Feelings Buried Alive Never Die by Karol Kuhn Truman.

In the back of this book was a list of 200 ailments and illnesses and their probable underlying emotional causes. The minute I saw this, it was like this little light bulb came on over my head, like in the cartoons, and it was like this big download of information and I knew immediately, oh my gosh, this is what you say. Pain is supposed to be a map and a guide. It’s not a bad thing. It’s here to help us and is here for a reason. It was like I had this whole thing come in all at once.

Like a lot of languages, a lot of messages at once.

Oh yeah. It was a big download of information and I started working the same day with it. I think that whole first year or two I was really pretty annoying because I would just, if people would stand still for five minutes, I’d make them tap. I was really passionate about it.

Oh, I love it.

But I’ve mellowed. I’ve mellowed now a little. How energy works.

Sharon, I love this and especially because this interview touches a personal experience with my husband. He has a pain in his lower back and I’ve been telling him in many languages, “Baby, this is not about the injury you have before. Your body is telling you something.” “Oh yeah, yeah. Oh yeah, yeah.” So, I can’t wait for this interview to be aired and just send a link to him and say, “Just listen, please.”

Oh no, go ahead, finish.

Because I do believe that I haven’t had any serious illness. I’m pretty healthy. I just had an episode with my colon and it was amazing when I realized that it was just acting up. Once I took actions about it, I was healed, like a boom. So, I know, it wasn’t something big, but I know, I know that it’s just something more than a body in pain. But we are going to talk more. So far right now, please tell us where can people go to find out more about you?

They can go to my website and it is apainplan.com and if they want to contact me about some private work, because I have two new programs, you can’t see them on the website and I haven’t worked privately for almost three years, but I am now and if you shoot me an email, use the contact form ,and let’s chat.

Hmm. I love it. So, we’ve been talking with Sharon Smith about how energy works to relieve pain. When we come back from this short break, we’re going to talk more about her healing superpower. Stay tuned. We’ll be right back.
