Ted Winslow How does sound healing music improve one’s health and well-being? In this episode of Your SuperPowered Mind, host Kristin Maxwell is joined by Ted Winslow as they talk about the impact of different sound frequencies on the human body. Ted also shares his thoughts on how we can rid ourselves of the negative energies that are causing stagnations, which can also be the root cause of something that we no longer need. Join Kristin and Ted in today’s episode to discover why you need to listen to sound healing music.

Hello, everyone. Welcome to Your SuperPowered Mind. I’m Kristin Maxwell. And in this show, we explore the process of transformation and give you tools and strategies that you can use to transform your own life. Today I have the pleasure of talking to Ted Winslow about the power of sound healing music. Ted Winslow is a best-selling recording artist, award winning producer, vocal coach, and composer with an international following. He is known for his pioneering work and research and development around sound healing and its effects on the human energy field. This is an area that I know very, very little about, but is very intriguing. So I’m really excited to be able to share him and his work with you. Ted, welcome to Your SuperPowered Mind.

Activate Your Superpowers

Hey, thank you so much for having me on today. I greatly appreciate it.

Yes, it’s fun to get to talk to all you cool people. My first question is always, what superpower did you discover as the result of mastering your mind?

Okay. So before I get into that, I kind of have a quick story to tell which will lead up to that because I’ve done some contemplation with that. And when I had first met my wife I was a musician already playing around as a studio musician and looking to go a little bit deeper in some areas. And so as it would be, I was with her and she had a healing center at the time, and was playing some sound healing music and was telling me about it. And I kind of looked at her and I go, “I have to be honest with you. This doesn’t sound like sound healing music.” And so she kind of gave me the kind of sideways grin and looked at me. She says, “Okay, hot shot, let’s see what you can do.” So that really kind of set me up saying, “Well, you know what? Okay, maybe it’s the time for change here.”

And I went back and kind of looked into it. And so I would probably have to say that as a result of discovering that, it’s the ability to tap into the quantum unified field of the consciousness and to change the human energy field through frequency and sound healing, and that through these healing vibrations, they are negating the main frequency that we are typically indoctrinated with in every day of our life, such as from the time that we wake up to the time that we go to bed. It’s on our TV. It’s on our radio. There’s this one frequency we’ve been hearing for just decades. And so through the discovery of this process, I’m placing those people back into their soul key signature. We’re all oscillatory beings, so when we’re in the wrong frequency, we may be experiencing a worsening in our health or a worsening in our wellbeing.

So if we’re bringing in these healing vibrations, we can then rid ourselves of the negative energies that are causing these stagnation or some of those negative energies that might be the root cause of something that we no longer need. Now, I got to back up here real quick because people hear me talk about frequency of music, and it’s not that in the general sense. So if people see my tracks, there’s always a frequency that’s going to be beside it in a hertz frequency, such as 528 or 432. And so that’s the main frequency that I record in, and each one of those frequencies has its own key signature that it is pertinent to. It’s kind of like color therapy. If we look at the color spectrum, we know that there’s going to be red, green, blue, violet, orange, indigo, and those are all a frequency.

And so that’s where my music is. We just can’t see it, but we’re hearing it, and there’s a root that also goes with that. So with those frequencies, I’ve discovered that we can now move more easily within these higher vibrations, which I believe are going to be a much better way that we can experience life. High vibrations, we already know, will typically synchronize those lower vibrations up to these higher frequencies. And so what I’m doing is I’m bringing forward these frequencies that have been forgotten, and modalities and tunings, and I’m bringing them forth through quantum past and parallel present and future life regressions to facilitate some of these changes or these energetic changes. So that’s what I would-

Oh boy. Go ahead. Sorry, I cut you off. I didn’t mean to cut you off.

No, I would have to describe that probably might be a little bit of what my superpower was, is going in and gaining that knowledge, tapping into it and developing this career that I’ve been and this path that I have been on and put me in front of millions of people.

Wow. Okay. Some people, I’m sure, totally understood that. And other people are like, “Wait, what does he mean? What does he mean about the frequency?” What I caught onto, is you said there’s sort of this one frequent. One frequency vibration that we’re sort of attuned to just through our daily life. You mean in terms of just news and just everyday life? Can you say more about that?

Absolutely. That’s a great question, and I apologize I didn’t clarify on that. So the main frequency that we’re pretty much attuned to is a frequency or hertz that’s known as 440. Musicians will know that is what’s called standard tuning. I’ll go into some of the history here on it, but in short you’ll tune pianos. If I sit down and tune one of my grand pianos or my stand up piano, most people will tune them 440. And the reason they do that’s so if I bring my guitar in, I can tune the frequency on that, when I said notes earlier, that is A above middle C4. I get a little nerdy on some of this, so I apologize. But that’s going to be the key of A. So all of that stuff is already tuned to this key of A and 440.

Now, what I don’t think most people realize is that 440, when compared to say, 528 or 432, 432 is another key of A, is 440 is much more dissonant. So yes, we wake up to that in the morning because if you turn on your TV and you’re listening to a commercial, probably I’d say the majority of the time, and there might be 1% time it might not be in 440, and I can’t see why it wouldn’t be. You hear your news, the commercials, and a lot of that is all broadcast at 440. Now for a little bit of a history and food for thought, there was a Third Reich minister by the name of Joseph Goebbels. And he came forward through one of the conventions and said, “It’s of utmost importance that we use this frequency, 440, and we have all the tunings go to this.”

And keep in mind, you have epicenters around the world that are in that time with music such as Vienna, Austria, London, Italy. And so the greatest are like, “Okay, we’ll go ahead and follow this. You seem like you pretty much know what you’re doing. You bet.” Shortly thereafter, of course, World War II breaks out. So a lot of people say, “Okay, we understand about the Nazis and what they were doing and all that. I think that’s a conspiracy.” The second part of this, there’s a famous musician by the name of Steve Lukather, and he was the guitar player for Toto. He wrote the hit song, Africa. Rosanna’s another one of them. He is writing a film score, and as he writes the film score, he records all the instruments in the 440, because everybody does that, but he needs a philharmonic orchestra to fill the rest of the score out for the strings, and an orchestra to play on it.

He goes over to use the Austrian Philharmonic Orchestra, and this was in the ’80s, and he plays it for them. And it just sounds out of tune. It’s not working. He finally realizes they’re not in tune with 440. So he tells the conductor, “Can you guys please tune to 440?” And he looks at them and he goes, “Nope, we don’t do that. We only tune to this frequency.” So that’s a little bit of a history.

On the daily, when I talk about this frequency we’re indoctrinated with. Everywhere we’re going, there’s dissonant 440 frequency. We’re all hearing it. We’re all vibrating in it. It’s dissonant. So that’s where, when my wife was talking about sound healing, I’m like, “There’s other frequencies, and if you peel back and look mathematically how they’re related, mathematically how they deal with intervals in relation on key signatures, that’s where I’m going from it.” And I apologize if I went too deep on that.

No, no, I think it’s fascinating. I played classical piano for over a decade, I love all this music. And that’s really interesting about the standard frequency and how that’s dissonant. Okay, I could go further in this, but I don’t want to lose everybody out there. So, actually we need to go for a break. That’s what I forgot. But I want to come back and really go deeper into how then this music can actually help with sound healing and what it does to the body. But before we go, can you let me know and let the listeners know where they can find you, and where are some of your music and learn more about this?

Absolutely. The first place I always like to send everybody to is my website, which is tedwinslow.com. And on there, I’ve got videos explaining some of the research that I’ve done with it. My albums are on there. When we come back, I will give away a free digital download, tell the listeners how they can get a free digital copy of my Amazon bestseller, Angelic Sound Healing. But the listeners can also listen to me on Spotify. I am listed on over 3,000 playlists on Spotify, iTunes, I’m running a beta program, Amazon. So pretty much anywhere that the listeners like to get their music, I’m there.

That’s awesome. Okay, great. Hang on, everyone. Don’t miss this. I’m really fascinated to see what the benefits are of listening to this music in a different hertz, which is a new word to use. Hang on.
