Kristin Maxwell:

Yes. Thank you. So, Krista, my first question is always, what superpower did you uncover as the result of mastering your mind?

Krista Inochovsky:

That’s such an interesting question, and the mastery process is a process. I don’t know, at least for me, that’ll ever be fully achieved, but the path of living in that possibility and the awareness of mindfulness certainly is a good place. And I would say that the superpower that I uncovered is the fact that I am the powerful creator of my life, which means I have the power within me to choose the emotional state that I’m in to decide how I want to be and feel, the visions that I want to have, what I want to have in my life and surrounding my life to be proactive instead of reactionary. And I think that the superpower of being a powerful creator of your life is my main mission in helping other people to tap in and find that within themselves. And I think today, more than ever, it’s a really important time to be aware that the power is there and available to you, that we’re not in reactionary mode to the world around us, but that we do have this beautiful ability to decide how we feel and how we show up.

Kristin Maxwell:

That is such a powerful skill to have because I know that that is something that so many feel they don’t have, that they are at the mercy, almost, of their emotions, their beliefs, and thoughts. So I’m really excited to have you here to walk you through how you got there because that’s a really powerful place to be. So did you start out knowing this yourself, or did you have a journey where you are feeling at the mercy of your emotions and such?

Krista Inochovsky:

Definitely a journey. Continue to be on the journey. My background is actually as a professional dancer and entertainer. So I spent my young life training as a dancer and then performing on stages and TV around the world, and in the narration, and as an MC, and host. So I really, I love that entertainment space and being able to make people happy, like creating this space of entertainment, where people are brought out of their day-to-day life and can get fully engaged in the music, and the sound, and the lights, and the fun of dancing, and you’re observing that, and really elevating people to a high level. And you threw my dance career.

I think I remember all the way back to being 19 years old, first getting tapped into personal development and starting to read books on that. And that love continued to grow within me and I love sharing. So it just became this natural evolution of following this path of, wow, how do we navigate this world? Some people are very happy and optimistic, some see the bright side, some just constantly feel like they’re bombarded with negativity and drama. And was able to unpack that, and learn, and discover, in short, I guess what I can share with our audience more about today is there really is the truth to the law of attraction of our energy, like energy attracts like. And we have to be willing to put ourselves out there as the energy, as the emotion, as the frequency that desires to have more of, but we have to go first. We can’t sit there in a space of being low, sad, or mad, or drama, or victimhood, and expect one day to wake up and it all be cured for us. We have to go first.

Kristin Maxwell:

Yes. You put it so succinctly. I love that, how you did that. And there is so much truth to that, and it’s the who are you and how you are showing up as, and that’s the energy. That’s the energy of the world that you live in. That’s the world that you see, which is such a shift for, I think, a lot of people, this idea, and one of the ideas that I… So you talk about is that your thoughts create your reality.

Krista Inochovsky:

Yes.

Kristin Maxwell:

Maybe there are people who don’t haven’t really thought this through. How would you explain that? That’s a hard question.

Krista Inochovsky:

Yeah. No, no, it is. And it ties into, I’m sure we’ll get into this a little bit later, that some of the habits and tips that I encourage people to use to step forward are it’s about having a deciding who you want to be and what’s important to you. So through my years, I love just diving in to know, “Well, who is Krista? What’s important to me?” Understanding personality, my gifts, who I’m called to be, and understanding that in other people so that we can have good relationships and good communication.

But it’s in that discovery of who I am. Asking those questions. What do I want out of this world? How am I called to contribute? What’s fulfilling to me? And then having a vision, an idea, a picture of what is in store for me that’s beyond what I have right now, and then putting the emotion behind it, and going, “Well, if I want to show up energetic, and aware, and alert, and kind, and open to receive, and open to help other people, and seeing the joy and others, and finding the beauty in things.” These are some of the things that go on in my head. Well, then how do I be that? And go allow those to control, be the powerful creator, my own thoughts and vision and elevate.

There’s a vibration and it goes with every emotion. And we have our high vibration emotions, like the ones I mentioned, joy, fulfillment, giving, happiness, love. These are all high-vibration emotions. And then to contrast that, we have low vibration emotions of regret, jealousy, anger, disappointment, victimization. And you can even just say them out loud. It just feels heavy in the pit of your stomach. And we can’t get joy, vitality, and all these high emotions when we’re living in a state of low emotions.

And so, it’s about making that choice and going, “Okay, I may feel this way right now. Maybe this is the pattern that I grew up with. Maybe this is the surroundings that are around me or a person in my life that’s pulling me down and I just have gotten used to being low, angry, blaming.” Whatever those like heavy emotions are, and going, “You know what? I don’t want to be this anymore. I have the ability to release, clear, cleanse that, and start a new habit, a new pattern of elevating my emotions and being this higher vibration so that that’s the world I’m surrounded by and what I attract more of.” And choosing to see the beauty, the light, the possibilities. Even in my day-to-day, even my simple life of my day-to-day of taking a walk, being in my home, talking to my children. And so, we have the choice on how. It’s like wearing glasses. It’s like, what shade glasses are we going to choose to put on each day?

And it does take conscious choice and awareness to make those shifts. And that’s what I help people go through that process and create daily habits to reset the set point. If our default mode is a little blah, a little heavy, a little sad, a little mad, like whatever that default mode is that we’re like, “I don’t really want to be that anymore. That’s not serving me.” We start doing daily practices to elevate to eventually, yeah, that natural set point becomes up here, then I smile on your face, and feeling good, and hopeful, and positive, and empowered over your own life.

Kristin Maxwell:

Yeah. I love that there is so much to unpack in there. And even as you talk, you can almost feel the space in that, like, “Oh, yeah. Yeah, I can do that.” But before we get more into that, we do need to take a break. Can you let people know where they can find you and look up more into your work and all you’re doing?

Krista Inochovsky:
