Hello everyone. This is Tonya Dawn Recla, your SuperPower Expert. I am so excited to have with me today, just a beautiful, beautiful human being. This is going to be a fantastic conversation. It’s already been a fantastic conversation. You’re getting to jump into the middle of this really yummy, warm kind of energy pool of goodness that’s been created here because that’s what happens when we sink in with people who walk their walk and talk their talk and live in that co-creative experience with the divine. Our guest today absolutely does that.

Dr. Krishna Bhatta. He’s a surgeon, an author, and inventor. I could probably go through the litany of really remarkable things that he’s accomplished. What I want to say about it though, is just feel it. We all know how amazingly special it is and what a gift it is to all of us when we get to come into contact with people who are willing to say, you know what? I think we can do this and I think we can do this in this way. I think it’s worthwhile and I’m going to help with that. I’m going to step into that so that everybody gets to have these experiences. Ultimately that’s what we’re all in service to in our own ways.

Activate Your Superpowers

He works in the healing spaces and the consciousness spaces and helps to prove what’s possible there. In today’s conversation, he and I are diving into the spiritual destiny of the United States. I know this is a big, big, big topic for everybody, and we’re just going to hit it head-on today. Sit back, relax, get comfortable because we’re going to dive in here if you’ll help me please, in welcoming Krishna to the show. Welcome. Thank you so much for joining us.

Thank you, Tonya. It’s great to be with you. It seems like we had some pre-recording conversation that was so exciting. I’m looking forward to this.

I’ll be honest with you all, I was like, “Oh, we’re being really selfish.” It’s a really yummy conversation about the spiritual destiny of the United States. We said, “We should just jump into this.” But that’s that feel. I mean, it’s instant. It’s almost, I would never say that we’re powerless to resist it, but it’s that, it feels like home, when you step into spaces with people who are willing to play in that connectivity, in that oneness. It really is beautiful. Thank you for that gift today. But before we dive into any more of that, let’s ask you our pivotal question of what are your superpowers?

Superpowers. We think we have superpowers. We think we control everything Tonya. Let me tell you about a story of what I sometimes say that we all get minor miracles in our life. We can read about what Jesus did or what Krishna did. Those miracles really look miraculous, at least in the stories, but things happen in our lives too. I’ll share with you one of our minor miracles, I call it.

Please.

I got a phone call that my wife had an accident. I was upset and that was in England. It’s not a bad day. She was driving a little small car there and many cars in England are smaller than any car in the USA, although you do have big cars there too.

She was driving along and she somehow decided to overtake a big 18 wheeler, which decided to turn and hit her from the side. Her little car flew up in the air, hit a telephone pole. The telephone pole broke in half. Her car bounced back on the road. Of course, everybody had to stop by then. The whole car was a total wreck. The only area that did not have any injury or any damage was her door. She walked out without a scratch. I don’t know what else to call that. I mean, I could not have controlled it. She couldn’t have controlled it, but it’s more than a minor miracle. I mean, I believe in minor miracles and I think that’s my superpower. I mean, there is something beyond us.

Well, to even just look at the idea of, yes, the minor miracles is significant, but what you said was you believe, and that is the only superpower. I mean, that is the foundational principle that dictates what our experience is going to be, or what our experience is going to be. It’s so challenging for those of us who were reared to rely on our will, our self-will, or our logic, our minds, our ability to think. Those of us who kind of matriculated through those processes, I’ll never forget the moment when I kind of came to the realization that I had been in gifted education, all of that stuff, my whole life, and honors college and master’s degree and all of this other stuff, and I was a counter-intel agent. I had invested huge amounts of time and money into fostering the ability to think, the intellect piece.

I remember the moment it hit me. It was someone who was interviewing me and asked me if I had always had these abilities. I sat there for a moment and part of me was like, “Well, of course, yes.” And then another part of me is like, “I don’t know. What was my experience?” My experience was that I just believed that I was incredibly smart because that’s what people said. That was the box that it fits in only to find out later that I was incredibly guided and I had a huge amount of faith that saw me through a lot of things. But in lieu of really understanding that or being aware of it at the time, I could only assign it to the thing I understood to assign it to, which was intellect. Of course, then you keep fostering your intellect.

I think that it’s pretty normal for those of us who do that to kind of hit a wall at some point because you just can’t go beyond it. Your own self-will and self-intellect only take you so far. That’s where the belief component really has to kick in. That’s a clear decision for everybody. Did you have a conscious decision where you made the choice like you were consciously aware of choosing to believe in something bigger than yourself?

I will answer that in three driving forces I think that we have. But before I go there, talking about the minor miracle, I mean, I call it a minor miracle, but it has a major impact on our life. I mean, things could have been totally different, as you can all imagine. But when I say about the drive, I know exactly what you are saying. It’s like, normally when we believe that I can do everything, then you are limited to that. You try everything. You do. You do achieve something.

I love it.

But then the second drive, when you realize that, okay, I’m not everything, there are some other factors. We start slowly dropping that part that I control the world, or I control my life. Then there are some intrinsic forces, an intrinsic drive that is there. You’ll walk along like Appalachian Trail or you’re going down or coming up the Grand Canyon, somebody looks thirsty. You don’t think. You give the bottle of water that you have. That kind of comes from inside. It’s like not thinking involved there.

If you go beyond that, then there is a divine drive and then you work for the divine. That’s what you were saying that you are guided by the divine. You have come to a point where you have realized that yes, I can do things and because you have to. I mean, the effort has to be done by you and me. If we don’t make an effort, nothing happens. But then the guidance comes from the divine, and so now you’re working for the divine in a way. You’re employed by that.

That’s right. We say that all the time. In fact, God’s our CEO. We were just talking about that this morning in one of our meetings is that we have very, very, very clear guidance in how to utilize the divine, not as a mystical kind of principle, but as a personality, as a factor, that a significant factor in every decision that we make and from the conceptualization to the strategy to the logistics, we allow that to inform everything we do. We’re very consciously aware of how to keep that together.

We’re going to talk a little bit about that because the topic today is all around the spiritual destiny of the United States, both in terms of where are we going and what are we doing, and what happens when we make a concentrated effort to develop this country into a place where it’s a destination for people. We’re not just bulking up tourism. We’re not talking about economic recovery from the pandemic, although certainly it could be solved from something like this conversation. But we’re talking about really what is the draw? What creates a spiritual destination, if not the allure and the pole that comes from that? We’re going to talk a lot about that. I know we’re setting things up here, folks. We’re giving you a taste of it before we go into the break. But before we go into the break talking about the spiritual destiny of the country, let’s make sure we can let people know where to find out more about you.

I mean, I have two websites. One is my kind of krishnauniverse.com. That has a lot more information. But there is a focused one, which is relaxx.org. That is geared towards my app, which has a lot of meditation and what I call intermittent silence and we will talk about it as we go along. Those are the two websites. You can find a lot of information about me and how I think.

Beautiful. I love that folks. Go check that out. We will come back after the break. We’re talking with Dr. Krishna Bhatta about the spiritual destiny of the United States. Stay with us folks, and we’ll be right back.
