Hello, everyone. Welcome back to Reclamation. We are here today to talk about a really, really cool concept that our brilliant daughter came up with. Actually, she just did, and then, of course, I was like, “That’s a brilliant concept you just did.” And she’s going to tell you about it’s called clearing your cache because that was the name that.

Neva Lee Recla:

She came up with it.

Tonya Dawn Recla:

Well, I came up with it. I just totally took her process and named it, but she’s going to teach it to you, so it’s all good.

Yeah.

Tonya Dawn Recla:

This is such a brilliant concept. We watched Neva walk through this process the other day. Actually, she walked through a process and then decided to share it with Justin and me. And she’s sitting there retelling her internal dialogue of how she had sort of geared up herself and went through what we talk about in the curriculum; it’s like going through the what-ifs, just making sure that your mindset is really clear. And so that’s why I’d love to have her share that with you. Just run briefly through it, and then we’ll dive into it after the break.

Neva Lee Recla:

This is something I do unintentionally most of the time, but basically, let’s say this big talk is coming up for you. And basically what, as mom likes to call it, clearing your cache is, is running through all the possibilities of what could possibly happen. For me, I do it typically to clear anxiety around conversations or things coming up. And obviously, there’s always going to be possibilities of things you didn’t even think of. But when you run through. It’s like in math, I forgot what it’s called, but it’s where you’ll see “Okay, there’s three shirts, and two pairs of pants and five pairs of shoes. What are all the possible outfits?” or whatever. It’s kind of like that where it’s like, “Okay, if I say this, then there’s a chance that this will happen, blah, blah, blah, blah.” And what that does is, you don’t get super thrown off-guard when something happens.

Tonya Dawn Recla:

I love that’s how she explained it because I don’t know if she’s even totally consciously aware of how in-depth this process of clearing your cache goes because it is important to look at the what-ifs. What the mind is going through. And because Neva has been reared in a world that allows her to have a full experience with things all the way through those levels that we talk about: The mental, emotional, physical, and vibrational. Because she’s tapped in and in sync there, she’s actually processing through any potential triggers in all of those levels as she’s running it through because she’s sitting in it. So she’s going through the experiences of it and re-imagining it before she ever engages in the conversation.

Justin Recla:

And not stopping at just one possibility. Not just one outcome, but like, “Okay, well this outcome looks really scary,” but then going, “Yeah. No, not really.”

Neva Lee Recla:

Yeah.

Tonya Dawn Recla:

Right. Walking all the way through it.

Neva Lee Recla:

Recently, obviously, when this airs, it will not be very recently; I had a conversation with some leaders in my life. And for me, when I went through that process, it helped me reduce any anxiety about, “Okay, what are they going to say? Am I going to get in trouble? And so when you do it, it’s typically a subconscious thing that happens for me. You kind of zone out for a minute, and then you go through all the possibilities. Kind of like Dr. Strange, that’s how I like to imagine it. You’re just like, “Okay, in this universe, this happens. And in this universe, this happens. And in this universe, this and this happens.” And when you do that, one, you feel really cool afterward because you’re like, “Okay, I’ve come to terms with it.” Because that’s another part, is when you run through all the possibilities that you could possibly think of, or possibly be anxious about, then you can come to terms with them happening.

Tonya Dawn Recla:

That’s right. And so we’re going to dive into this further because it’s a brilliant process that she does, and it was super cool to witness it. For now, we’re going to cut to a quick break.
