Personal Integrity

In order to create a strong foundation of integrity in our world, we must start within ourselves. Personal integrity is a concept that continues to get left out of most conversations. And integrity is something that must be crafted and practiced because we don’t currently come by it naturally. That change starts in the home, in the classroom, in organizations, in churches, in friend groups, and anywhere we may come up against something challenged or uncomfortable. Without practice, in a moment of insecurity or fear, we revert to what we know. And if what we know isn’t informed by things like coming from integrity and being nice and doing the right thing, then our reactions won’t be either. This throws us into a vicious cycle of rinse and repeat, until we opt to do something different.
