While motherhood has an element of choice, the external nature of fatherhood, from inception on, gives it a flair that motherhood will never possess. That brings us to the first step in the process of defining fatherhood. Choice. Choosing, not only to be a provider for offspring, but to step into a willingness to both be a father and be fathered.
