Welcome friends and mystical travelers. This is Ayn Cates Sullivan, host of Wisdom Of The Ages where we invite the sacred into modern-day reality. So in some cultures, money is considered sacred. And I would say we’re at a time when the right livelihood is called for, and one of the things that I believe can connect people is conscious business. We all need to create money to survive. We need money for our families and hopefully, we can learn something about financial freedom, which is what this episode is about today. I’m really honored to have a financial consultant with us today who can really get into the nuts and bolts. And I’m really curious to hear more about what he has to share. Cause wealth is a subject that’s really worth discussing. I think it should be very open.
We should talk about it a lot. Sometimes in our culture, it’s a difficult subject. And so I think this is a great opportunity to feel as though you’re with your grandmother and your uncle. And we’re just talking about the basic things in life. So just, get out a notebook if you can, and just scribble some notes about what you think about money and life and right livelihood and how we can learn when we’re in such situations and how we can help one another. So money is one of the foundations from which all of the activities that we’d love to do stand upon, right? So let’s discover more about financial freedom. My guest today is Sarry Ibrahim, a financial consultant, health and life agent who’s living in Chicago. He works with people all over the US and Canada and sometimes in other parts of the world. So Sarry, welcome to Wisdom Of The Ages.

Hi Ayn. Thank you so much for having me on and thank you so much for the nice introduction.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Well, it’s really nice to have you here. Okay so my first question for you is, why is financial freedom important to you?
Sarry Ibrahim:
Yeah, absolutely. So financial freedom is pretty much the ability to do what you want in life because you have the financial backing to do so. So you’re not tied to a certain job or a certain way of living because you’re financially free. You have your own sources of income and that you can control. So I think that’s powerful because I think if you can control your financial situation in life, then you can control everything else after that. Not saying that if you have money, you’re not going to have any other problems in life. I still think that’s true you still will have some, but I think you have more control over certain issues if you can control usually the core issue for a lot of people and that’s the financial aspects of their lives.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Oh, that’s so true. I mean, if you have many more options, if you have some financial freedom. But I mean, we also have to begin somewhere. So I’m hoping in this conversation, we can include everyone from people who are just starting out to people who maybe are retiring and wondering how in this wild economy that we’re living and how we navigate that and real estate.
