What is the brilliance of Divine design?  How do we describe the energy that connects us all?  In this episode of The Science of Superpowers host, Tonya Dawn Recla is joined by guest Melinda Harr Curley, one of the newest hosts here on The Super Power Network.  Melinda’s show, The Frequency of Creativity, airs on the Evolution Channel where she explores the intersection of energy and art, discovering how artists give physical form to frequency.  Join Tonya and Melinda as they uncover the concept of divine design so brilliantly illustrated through art and artistic expression.

Hello, everyone, and welcome back to The Science of Superpowers. I’m so excited to have you here. I’m really, really, really looking forward to this show today because this conversation that we’re about to have, and this journey that you’re about to embark on with us is so near and dear to my heart. This is my essence. This is how I live in the world. This is how I walk the world. This governs everything that I do and it’s this concept of divine design, and we’re going to talk today about the brilliance of divine design because it … Brilliance doesn’t even encapsulate my experience with it, but when you start to see it, you see it everywhere.

When you can discern what we talk about when we talk about divine design and some of you are like, “Yeah, right on.” You already know what I’m talking about because you can feel it. Others of you are like, “Okay, well, what is she getting at? Where is this going?” There’s this sense. There’s this connectivity that connects all of us. Some people refer to it as a universal field, whatever it might be that connects into all of us. There is this unique design that happens when things really work when they’re lit up.

Activate Your Superpowers

In our dialogue, we talk about sometimes if they’re lit up by spirit, if it’s following God’s plan, if it’s in harmony with nature, all of those various phrases we’ve used just to try to wrap our minds around what this essence is when things work, and you know they work because they’re sustainable. They’re self-sufficient, they’re self-perpetuating. There are these dynamics to them, these variables that all get checked off in the process, that you don’t even have to really think too hard about, and so that’s something that we’re going to uncover today because our guest today is knee-deep and well-immersed in the art world and in creativity, and we see the concept of divine design so brilliantly illustrated through art, artistic expression, on so many levels.

In fact, I would say that when one is creating with divine design, it is its own form of artistry.  Our guest today is Melinda Curley and I’m so excited. She is one of our newer hosts here on The Super Power Network. Her show, The Frequency of Creativity, airs over on the Evolution Channel so make sure that you check that out. There, she talks all about the importance of not just using our eyeballs to look at art and our minds to assess it, but really getting into the energetics of it, and recognizing there’s this whole brilliance underneath the surface that she’s going to get to illuminate today for us here, as this conversation unfolds in the divine design and the creativity that we get to harness within it. So without further ado, I’m going to bring Melinda on the show so you can tell her hello and welcome her.  Melinda, thank you so much for joining us.

Tonya, thank you so much for having me. I love the topic, divine design because it’s something I’m interested in as well. It’s so ingrained in creating art and tapping into the energy in order to create a divine design, so thank you for having me.

I love that you said that. I would contend that it’s what informs all really amazing art, right? I think what I’m seeing in the more mundane realities is that when that life energy isn’t present, it’s like, meh, meh. It just lacks the luster, and so I’m sure we’ll dive into that more, but let’s start off with our pivotal question here. What are your superpowers, and how are you using them for good right now?

Tonya, my superpowers, probably like everyone, keep evolving and changing as I evolve and change. How I’ll answer that is right now in this moment, my superpowers are being able to tap into the energy, tap into frequency, and translate, and bring that energy into the form of painting. So I paint out in nature in the Appalachian Mountains in a state forest. My easel is an oak tree that’s at least 100 years old, and I have a stump in front of it. I put my canvas on the stump, lean it against the oak tree and get very quiet, and that’s what my superpowers are, clicking into the frequency of the forest, and translating that energy into form on the canvas.

Well, I’m going to add another one to that because what I’ve watched emerge in you recently is your ability to take us there, and you’re just using your voice, and so I would contend that that frequency that you’re able to tap into, and that creative essence, I was just there with you. I felt it. I could sense it. I felt you in it. I knew the creativity at that moment. There’s something really magical about how your voice is unfolding in this process, which is really exciting for everyone who wants to be able to touch into the art world in a live experience, in a way that makes them feel enlivened, not just more addressing things on the surface.

What we just experienced from you was exactly that, the brilliance right of divine design and that as it lights you up, there’s this transmission of that reality, of that level of awareness, of that co-creative potential with it that you’re transmitting through words now, and so kudos. Congratulations on that. I’m really excited about everything that will unfold with the show. As we know, we don’t just podcast for the listeners. Everybody podcasts because it grows us. There’s this beautiful unfoldment that happens in this process. I, for one, am just incredibly honored to be able to walk beside you as this part of your superpower repertoire comes online. It’s brilliant.

Tonya, thank you so much. I must tell you, thank you for recognizing that the visual can be created through other means, through words and also through speaking because I have to be honest, I took that into consideration because there’s not a lot of podcasts about the art world because the art world is viewed as primarily visual, and it is so much more than that. As I spoke earlier, there’s an energy and frequency to art that is such a point of connection and expansion with the art, and that’s what I’ll talk about in my show, that the art is so much more than just a visual experience. So thank you for saying that.

Yeah, I think it’s fantastic, and you’re quite welcome. It’s truly my honor. I think what we’re seeing is a real emergence of superpowers, and I know some people like, aha, ha it’s a personal development thing, but it’s really not. We’re very serious about this. I don’t know if anybody can listen to us for more than a moment if we weren’t serious about the fact that we really do think that we have these extra supernatural, metaphysical abilities that allow us to communicate in ways we can’t even imagine. So the transmission of visuals is something that those in the woo-woo spiritual worlds have been playing with for eons. We just haven’t paired these things up, and I think that that’s one of the brilliant aspects of the design of the network, as part of my guidance was to bring everybody into the same conversation. We’re starting to see why that’s so incredibly crucial because when we continue to operate in our little silos, we’re incredibly limited. I don’t know why we would do that.

So as we are willing to have these conversations and say … For you just to propose the kind of query of, is there a place in the high-vibe, high-frequency conversation for art? To me, it’s like, I don’t know where else you would put it because I don’t really … I choose not to experience anything except that place and there’s a lot of us in that space. I dare say that you’re on the cutting edge of bridging worlds that probably should be bridged. So I love that you’re carrying the mantle for that. We’re going to jump to a quick break here, but before we do, I know you’ve already stirred a lot of interest. Where can people go to find out more about you? Where should we send them?

Tonya, just please go to my website melindaharrcurley.com. On there, you’ll see my artwork, my corporate installations, my commission work. I’m a trained poet, and I write a poem with each painting as well so that to experience the painting as we were speaking earlier, visually, and also through words, that gives an explanation or more of an insight of what the painting has captured.

Brilliant, brilliant. Make sure you go to superpowerexperts.com and check out the Evolution Channel. You’ll find Melinda’s show, The Frequency of Creativity, right there. So stick around folks. When we come back, we’re going to continue talking with Melinda about the brilliance of divine design. You’re not going to want to miss this. Stay tuned.
