Is it a struggle for you to live a better life? Worry not, because, in this episode of Science of SuperPowers, host Tonya Dawn Recla and guest Dr. Robert Kiltz talk about taking responsibility for your life to unleash the superpower in you. Dr. Robert is a board-certified OB/GYN and a fertility specialist. For him, being a hero does not mean being Superman or Wonder Woman. Instead, he recognizes that it springs from his desire to help human beings gain their best life. He further emphasizes the power of self-meditation and prayer in appreciating the beauty of people and attaining a better life. Tune in as Tonya, and Dr. Robert walk you through the secrets of having a better life.

Hello, everyone. And thank you so much for joining us again on The Science of Superpowers. We’re so excited to have you here with us. I’m excited to have our guest here with us. I am excited to share him with you from the space of that connection that you start to feel when you just know. Right? You know somebody’s walking their talk, and you know that they’re persevering through whatever it takes to get them to the truth and whatever that looks like for them and to share from that place. It’s so brilliant and so beautiful, this whole podcasting notion of being able to connect with people and however, you do it in your world.

I challenge you to look for those people who are just lit up. You can just see it. You know that life energy is coursing through them. You know they’ve tapped into something real and truthful that we can all share in and that we’re all connected into when it creates such a beautiful experience. Our guest today, Dr. Robert Kiltz, is a board-certified OB/GYN. I’m sure not for him, but this kind of foundational component that we discover is a journey through this world. We’re going to talk about how to live a better life.

Activate Your Superpowers

And what’s so beautiful seeing how he’s journeyed through that into these beautiful spaces where he’s assisting people in fertility matters from a holistic standpoint. Not just holistic in the way we typically think of it, but almost cosmically, universally holistic. Right? Where we make space for that life energy. For that divine awareness within these conversations. And he talks about things like lifestyle, and healthy eating, and all of those components that I know so many of you are interested in. I’ll stop talking and bring him on so he can share his deep wisdom with you. Please join me in welcoming to the show Dr. Robert Kiltz. Thank you so much for joining us.

Tonya, God bless you. And thank you so much for inviting me. I really appreciate it. It’s a pleasure sharing the superpowers that I have here.

It is a trip for sure. This whole superpower journey. But we’re excited that you had the courage to partake in it with us. And we’ll jump into our first question. What are your superpowers, and how are you using them for good?

Well, what I’ve learned is that we all have superpowers. The light goes off at one point that you recognize you’re responsible for everything in your life. And then what are the dreams you desire? And rather than waiting for someone else to show up and give them to you, you got to go out and get them. We always love Superman, and Superwoman, and Wonder Woman. And all these ideas as a kid were so we’re mesmerized by these ideas.

And then finally, the recognition is like, “Well, wait a minute. It’s within me, too.” All of us are regular human beings, but the superpower for me was: how can I help inspire people to live their best lives? And being a fertility specialist as my primary job, I’m out there to help people conceive, carry children, healthy children. And I think my superpower is to be helpful to others in this world because there’s nothing better than helping others in life.

Beautiful. Beautiful. First of all, huge apologies for butchering your last name. I typically ask how to pronounce that. Please allow me to apologize for that. And folks, allow me to re-introduce you to Dr. Robert Kiltz. Thank you for that.

No apologies needed, by the way. It’s all good. All good.

Well, you’re beautiful. Thank you. It’s interesting on this journey to balance the surface with the creation. And as we tap into those more, I become aware that as I allow for that creator element to come forward and control the persona element more and more, the detailed orientation of how most of us have been trained to walk through the surface alters. There are no excuses, but just an explanation in the sense that it’s a different way of walking in the world once you’re aware that you’re not of the world. I find it’s a beautiful kind of dance that we get to do, and how we connect in an intrinsic, real, energetic way, and how we interact on the surface of things.

It’s been a wild ride with that. And here lately, that expansive energy that’s come forward, each time we move into these new spaces, they’re a little disorienting. And this space that I’ve been playing in here recently, it took the surface and just totally twisted it inside, upside down, which isn’t new. But I do find this thing I was sharing with you before we got started that part of what drew me in to bring you onto the show wasn’t the amazing work and accomplishments that you’ve done. It was that essence that I felt just by looking at your picture. I want to tap into that for a second because we’re talking about living a better life. That embodiment is, to me, the personification of living a better life. What brought you to this point where you can simply revel in the beingness of it all?

Well, growing up in L.A., learning about religion, and science, and math, I became an artist, and a potter, and a jeweler when I was younger. I fell into becoming a doctor. And then, through the years, the bumps and ripples that we all have finally set you on a path to figure it all out. And because we’re all walking around this earth, we’re somehow oblivious to the energy that is within all of us. When I learned more about the spiritual connection, the faith connection, and the energy that we all have, and that human beings are the gods, and the creators, and the superheroes of life, every one of us that I began to practice that for myself in so many other ways in the life that it just sent me to a whole new level.

I began to focus on daily meditation and prayer. I began to recognize that there’s no other human being more important to take care of than myself first. But also to look at all human beings as the same energy as God. And so when I learned those things on how the universe is within every one of us and began to practice that, I stopped looking for the things in my life, but more seeing the beautiful people that are all around this world.

Because of this idea of accomplishments, I’m an accomplished physician with lots of stuff in so many ways. But then you recognize that that’s not what it’s all about because it’s the people we want to connect with. If we can see God in the mirror and reflect beautiful people like yourself, beautiful people are everywhere. But sometimes, you need to look into the eyes and the energy of those struggling, feeling, and pain and see the beauty there. Because then we could spark it out of them.

And that’s the part that I love doing more than anything is I love the energy of helping others to see the beautiful energy within themselves no matter size, shape, age, weight, money, no money, color, gender description. It doesn’t matter. We all have beautiful energy everywhere, and that’s the beauty of the universe. And that’s the part that I love sharing as a physician. But I’m just another human being on this journey of recognizing that there can be no better thing to do than help another human being that’s suffering and feeling the pain of life. And then, if you can help that, it’s a dream—all of it. The dream is what you choose to make it, and the brain is the creator of our reality.

The energy that you’re looking for is what you create here. That’s this beautiful, beautiful, amazing experience that we have as life. We’re looking for something later, but we do not see the beauty of what we have right now. And if we can see it now, there are so many authors and people like yourself sharing superpower ideas. And this is where I love religions because the world’s religions have shared this for thousands and thousands of years.

I happen to follow a Christian philosophy, but I’ve read all of them and have the same message. You have this energy of God within you. And if you can see the beauty of even the faults, the failures, the pain, the regret, and the judgment, the treasures of building the whole picture. And so rather than waiting for the thing saying, “Well, I can’t wait to get there.” You can hold the dream of where you want to go and to see the beauty of where and what you have right now.

That’s, I think, the biggest part, and it can be done with what you put in mind. What are you reading, listening to, watching? And then what do you put in your mouth? I talk a lot about fasting. I believe in the ketogenic idea that the less frequently you eat, the fewer poisons that get in your body. And alcohol is deadly. We shouldn’t be drinking it, and we’ve all done it from time to time. But we need to find the formula that we need fresh air, water, that’s it. And then food from time to time, but not all the time.

Brilliant. You’ve covered a lot of territories there. That deserves an amen and a drop the mic, I think. And what I love about it is it ties it all together. That’s the most important thing here is when we talk about how to live a better life, we’re talking about what’s really under the surface. We’re going to dive more deeply into how we can live a better life when we come back from break. Robert, where can people go to find out more about you?

If you look at drrobertkiltz.com, that’s really the best place. Or just Google Dr. Robert Kiltz. We have books on Amazon. I do a ton of YouTube, and Facebook, Instagram. I love those things. And then cnyfertility.com.

Perfect. Brilliant. And so we’ll have a link on the episode page, folks. We’re talking today with Dr. Robert Kiltz about how to live a better life. We’ll be right back after the break. You’re not going to want to miss this.
