ManTarA shares a message of expansion with Super Power Experts. Intuitive channel, Matt Andrews, shares his experience preparing for and giving voice to ManTarA. After working on the sets for major motion pictures like King Kong, Avatar, and The Hobbit, and devoting time to a spiritual yoga practice, Matt cleared the way to channel the language of love through the group of entities known as ManTarA. His fascinating journey through his own personal awakening and aiding others in theirs reminds all of us that perseverance pays off. Listen in as he shares his story and prepare for a treat as ManTarA comes through.
Hello, everyone! This is Tonya Dawn Recla, your Super Power Expert and this is going to be fun, folks. I hope you’re ready for an adventure. So I have with me Matt and he’s from New Zealand. So this is very very cool.
I love when our energetic threads start populating all over and they get entwined with the amazing work that other people are doing and he is doing some amazing work, folks, he’s going to really treat us here during the interview with a taste of some light language that he is able to bring through in the form of ManTarA. And so please, please, please join me in welcoming Matt Andrews to the show, welcome Matt.
I think so. It’s very, very exciting to be here. I can feel the expansions as we get started and which is just beautiful.
Yes, that’s what we strive for. So we’re an inclusive group of individuals who just love talking with others who have traversed their own personal journeys to bring something really cool and unique into the world and I would say you qualify in that. So talk to me about your Super Powers, what are they?
Well it’s interesting I’ve got a mixed bag but I guess most people put me into this category of Super Power is that I channel a high level, high vibrational angelic language. But that’s only part of the story. I’m also quite intuitive but if that’s a Super Power that’s a really useful sort of help for getting throughout the world. You know more what to do from an intuitive space rather than having to think twice through and make up pros and cons list about every decision. You know which doesn’t really work. But I’m also quite tuned into my heart which is a sort of authenticity I might use that term which is a Super Power as well. And it’s very, very useful.
And also I guess one of the most exciting things for me is that I’m really able to hold a beautiful expansive space for people so that I can grow and I’m quite you know light hearted with how I facilitate for others which really helps them. You know we have a laugh when people work with me. We’re laughing most of the time you know I do some crazy stuff but it’s all about growth right. So many people are so caught up in transformation and healing as such a serious business but at the end of it all that seriousness contracts the energy around what they want to shift. And of course the harder you try the harder it gets.
Oh absolutely.
So, I guess one of my biggest Super Powers is to be very open and relaxed and that’s how I facilitate for people.
I love that. I mean even in the Christian tradition they say to get into the kingdom of heaven you have to become like a child. And so part of it is I think it is kind of worthy of a good laugh from time to time when you think about all the machinations we’ve gone through. I remember I did a journey here with Eric Weiland, one of our Super Power Experts who does crystal reiki resonance, he and I journey a lot together, and one of the spaces I went into I don’t even remember what question I’d asked, but it was like there was nothing there. It was like this grey space.
And I remember, “I’m like what is going on?” And he’s asking me all these questions like, “Where is this? Do something I to bring it down like there’s nothing here. And I hear this I chuckle and it wasn’t even like a lighthearted chuckle. It was kind of a like, “You idiots, this is where you came from. It’s like…everything.” And I’m like, “I AM this space.” It’s everything and it’s all potentiality and it’s like…oh, I get it. Like, why are we striving to get back there, that’s where we came from and we are that? And it was one of those profound kind of pivotal moments of like, oh yeah, okay, so I’m just going to get on with what I came here to do.
Right, no destination because the destination doesn’t actually exist. You can know where you’re going because you’re going to get there one day. When we say no destination it doesn’t mean that we’re not going to get somewhere, but it’s nothing. It’s a journey.
And it’s pretty darn boring, I mean, you can go back there if you want, but be careful what you wish for. Like, you can go back to it if you want, but there is a reason you came here so…It’s very cool that it’s super exciting.
So how did you know kind of come to this space. I mean, I know that usually the journey is fairly winding. I haven’t yet met anybody that it was a pretty straight path. But what was your journey in all of this?
Well that’s a big question and also, I’ll start from the beginning that the journey continues right where I am now, it’s not where I’m finished.
Well, phew! I like to hear that.
Yeah. You know it’s a very dynamic process and it’s changing day to day so. But you know it wasn’t so long ago I was still doing my day job knocking nails into a bit of wood while I was working as a domestic builder and not so long ago before that. Well back previous to 2012 I was a film technician so I worked on big films. I worked on The Hobbit. Oh that’s very exciting, right?
Very cool.
I worked on Avatar, I worked on King Kong. I worked on many big films which you know most people go, “Oh wow, what a dream job.” But when we’re there it’s just a job I can assure you.
I love that you say that. It’s what I get all the time about the spy stuff, I’m like, “Yeah, at the end of the day it was just a job.”
Yeah, it doesn’t matter what your job is if you’re having to turn up and do it to earn money to survive and that’s the reason you’re doing, it’s just a job. And work come with a nasty connotation of sacrifice and all the rest of it. So that’s exactly what I was experiencing. I had my side life as a yoga teacher, meditation teacher, always being very passionate about yoga and meditation for a long time now since I was about 25. So that was 21 years ago. That’s just giving away my age which, I’m 46. Now you guys all know.
So it’s been a long path I guess and my yoga path was interesting in that it was quite disciplined and very strict. It wasn’t just turn up in sexy clothing and do stretchy stuff, I was on a strict yoga path. My wife and I spent a lot of time in India working a lot of selfless service, a lot of devotion, a lot of meditation in sacrifice that was the path it was all selfless.
It took us a while to realize that actually none of that is selfless and that there is only the self. And so we freed ourselves from that and we got a bit of a help from, we got a bit of a push as things tend to happen in such organizations. It became untenable and we moved on. And my world started to open up for me because my yoga path was very dry even though I did two hours of meditation a day and all the rest that it was very dry. It was mantras, it was Kriya yoga, getting energy moving through my body and all very good tips that help you purify and grow and lift my vibration. That was pretty boring. Right it was boring. And once those blinkers came off and I started picking up crystals and all the stuff that was labeled as a distraction before. You know, looking at the ascended masters and all sorts of stuff, it was like the veils came up.
And one of my gifts started opening up and I started becoming much more intuitive and having much more visceral meditation where I went on journeys and saw stuff. So past life stuff as I was ready for it and all the rest of it wasn’t particularly needing to see some of the stuff that I saw, or I didn’t think, but it served me for some reason or another. And slowly but surely I just opened up to just channeling. And this light language started coming through which was a bit of a shock because I had heard light language before, of course, I don’t think that we can start channeling if we hadn’t ever heard it before but I never expected that I was going to do.
And from there I just started offering the words to other people. I had been taught, I got some guidance sort of a mentoring type arrangement with another person who channeled in English who channeled a beautiful energy called Jimmy. Of course, an angel called Jimmy speaks in an Irish accent.
I love it!
And absolutely no presence on the internet at all. Doesn’t advertise at all, works out of the back of a little house in a tiny little suburb in Wellington.
Oh my gosh.
He was sort of gentle and so he helped me a lot. And in a very beautiful, empowered way and I do I owe him a lot of my gratitude because he was very, very good in not just answering questions with information, but answering questions with processes for me to do to find the answer for myself. So that’s how I grew. I had to start tuning in and start finding out all of this stuff. And now I’m running a business where I facilitate for people all over the world from here in New Zealand. Very few of my clients are actually from New Zealand and I run courses and stuff where I quite often have people from 19 different time zones on the course which provides interesting scheduling. I mean, and that’s how it’s done right? It’s fun, right? It’s fun to have such a diverse group of amazing people being attracted to what I do.
Oh absolutely. Kudos to you and I personally love the talent. It’s like, I built a pretty complex, hybrid model solely for that purpose because it’s…I was faced with the challenge of knowingly creating a multi-dimensional business and I will tell you that it’s kept me entertained. Where a few things do, it has kept me entertained.
Exactly. Because many of us are so tired of the 3-D world where we were really suffering in it. And it was not holding any spice or any taste for us and it was like, “Why am I still here?”
Yes.
And then, all of a sudden, it’s like, “Oh this is why you’re still here.” Because this is what is happening and that tastelessness of the world that was taking on was important to catalyze our ability to step forward and to take the risks, perceived risks anyway, of stepping forward into doing this quote unquote weird stuff.
Yeah, it’s kind of like sowing your wild oats is how I look at it and for me it was very clear. Like I was very driven to find the perfect job. And that’s what I thought. That would lead to my fulfilment and so that’s why I went down the trajectory that I did and it wasn’t until I got a pretty kick ass job that it was like, “Oh maybe that’s not what I was looking for, you know.” And so, I think you kind of have to check all those boxes. And then I’m like, well it must be business, I must want to build my own business. I started doing all that and it’s like well that’s not quite it either.
And, you know, all of us are on that journey closer to ourselves and in alignment with what we agreed to come here to do or to experience or however you phrase it. You do have to kind of go through that thing.
Well we did. I’m not sure that that’s true, I’m meeting some really amazing millennials younger and theirs is a totally different thing. Like I look at our daughter who’s seven and is very clearly on her path but it’s like the idea of a spiritual journey or any for her is just laughable, you know, that’s just not going to happen.
Because they are inherently spiritual, right? They don’t need to become spiritual through a spiritual journey.
But it’s because we did it right, because we agreed to do it. In fact, we were given that message very clearly shortly after her birth, that she couldn’t do what she was here to do if we didn’t do what we were here to do. And so that’s the agreement that we make with each other along the way. And she’ll have her own stuff and she’ll pave the way for other people. So that gives me a sense of hope and community. I think, about the world which I enjoy.
Yes. Perfect.
Very cool, so talk to me about light language. Well, first of all I have a logistics questions. So it’s ManTarA, but it’s spelled capital M a n capital T a r capital A
Because that’s what I saw in burning letters in my meditation.
Well, that will do it
I know people ask me all the time, “So what does it mean? What does it do?” And I say, “I don’t know.” I did try to google it and it came up with all sorts of different things. In Arabic it means a wedding. There’s a chapel somewhere, I have forgotten where, Lebanon or something. Where the Mother Mary basically waited for Jesus to go into a village and come back out for a scroll I think. Because, you know, you get that that comes through you. Oh my goodness, I’ve got to go to Google and find out what it means. And to see if anyone else is using it, there’s a band called Mantara and it’s like, “Oh, can I really use it if a band is calling it that?” And so the message in my head is like, “Yeah, but they don’t have those capitals remember?” And it’s like oh ok.
That’s so funny.
And so that vision is still burning in my consciousness from however many years ago. It wasn’t that many years ago to be honest. You know because when you ask…you know because I’ve been working with this energy for some time and I was like, I don’t have an energy or a name to call you or anything, you know, it’s kind of a little bit impersonal not having any of it and it’s not good for business right.
So let’s just get real. I need to brand this and market it.
Exactly, I was like, I need a brand! So it was like okay, well here you go, here’s a brand…I was like, whoa it almost scorched my eyebrows. I was like whoa there it is, okay.
Yeah probably best not to argue with the burning letters. Well, very cool. That solves the logistics question. So talk to me about it when it started coming through, you said you had heard it before, though? Where had you heard it or how did that come into play?
Well one of those wild Google searches we let ourselves go on, right? Which led to a lot of growth through that switching period when my old life was falling apart. The film industry really wasn’t serving me anymore. You know my body was breaking down and I was really unhappy and my yoga path had sort of fallen apart at that stage. So I found Jimmy, a guide in the physical, a trans channel who was helping me out. And he basically said, “Why don’t you look at this? Why don’t you look at that? You know, you’re here to be a healer. You’re here to be a transformational catalyst and all the rest of it.”
I was like whoa I haven’t even heard those terms. So I started googling stuff and I stumbled across Judy Satori who happened to be another New Zealander, not that I am, I’m Australian but I’ve been here 15 odd years. I can’t even say “years” without saying “yiahs” the subtleties in our accent that probably people don’t pick up. And New Zealand is very, very…it’s like Canadian and American accents right… you can hear it but others can’t tell the difference. So that’s how it is. That’s what it is.
But anyway. So yes Judy Satori, who’s been doing light language forever she’s one of the pioneers of it in modern talk. All right. And I know it’s been around since Christian times, talking in tongues and stuff. And so I started listening to some of her stuff. And it really resonated. But I still never really thought that I’d do it. And when Jimmy said I started shaking in my meditation so I’m doing my meditation at first I started like sort of pingaling which I had never done before. I think 20 years and I have never started shaking around in my meditation So I asked him, “Well, what’s going on?”
He said, “Well your body’s getting ready to channel,” and the whole lot. And I was like, oh cool, I’m going to be a transcending like Clint which is the guy who channels Jimmy. Turns out I wasn’t trying to be like that at all. It was completely different. And so yeah it’s just synchronicities, you know, Tonya, we just go on our path and why did that have to happen and then sometimes I even think well how did it happen? It was a pivotal part of my life but how, and it just does naturally.
I understand. Very cool so are you interested in channeling a little bit for us.
Yes, we’re always interested in channeling a little bit for anyone.
Very cool
I will warn you though it’s a little bit different than how a lot of people do light language. My light language doesn’t sound like a language at all, it’s more of energy codes. It doesn’t have as many intellectual meanings behind the sound. It’s really what we do basically with the light language is more, or what ManTarA does through me, is to create spaces for people to have their experience. We are not so much teaching people or awakening them or anything like that, we are just creating spaces where they just remember who they are.
That’s basically what we do. And so it’s quite hypnotic. It’s quite ummm difficult too. Right. It’s very fast, very rhythmic. Hypnotic. It takes people into a space, it also shakes people up a little bit which is good, right? We’re very good at helping people release their stuff. They pass the emotional trauma sort of been lodged in their fields from whenever. Sometimes lifetimes and lifetimes ago, but they really shaped the belief systems that they’re holding onto. And so you can do the mindset work to try and overcome those belief systems, but if the energies are still deep in the field of traumatic experiences from the past then it’s best if we can help people release them. People are going to release them anyway because if you’re holding your intention on becoming safe and worthy and free and joyful in the world then all of the negativity and darkness will somehow come to the surface so you can release it.
But our service is to help speed that process up and help it become a little bit more graceful so that you can move through that process of releasing stuff that’s really not serving you to carry. So that your belief systems can fall apart so that you can become more free to connect with who you truly are and walk in this world in a much more authentic space really. And that’s spiritual right. That’s the belief. In connection with who we are spiritually more. Yeah. So should we do some light language? What should our intention be though?
Oooh I like that. Um. What’s coming through for you?
Oh how about helping people to connect with allowing their Super Powers to come through. Right? To be open to receiving…um I’m trying to get the language around this I don’t want to make it sound like it’s forceful.
Helping people to understand the subtleties of their own Super Powers that they carry right now. Because I think a lot of people get caught up in this idea that Super Power is something that is very, very obvious when it comes through it’s going to be like sounding of horns and lights shine through and you know those of us who have developed Super Powers realize that when it starts it is incredibly subtle. And there’s a training period that occurs where we have to honor the subtlety so that it can strengthen in us to the point where it does become more obvious and we are less likely to doubt.
Absolutely. And it’s usually the most natural thing in the world for us.
Yes. Yes except for the fact that we’ve been trained out of thinking that it can be like that right.
Yes, absolutely.
We wanted… you know a lot of people say I don’t hear any guidance and I say well what are you expecting to hear? Because most people don’t hear voices in their head in the terms of guidance and a lot of people don’t get images that are obvious guidance either. Guidance is quite subtle for most of us. Yes, some people have great dimensional side and some people are very clairaudient as well. But most not, but they still have guidance. It’s not like guidance has to be that obvious. And the more that we can open ourselves up to the subtleties that we’ve got right now the more likely it is that the more obvious stuff is going to awaken within us.
Absolutely.
We have to be willing to honor those subtleties.
Well, yes and I tell people too, those Super Powers don’t come through until we are committed to using them for good; for consciousness and in collaboration and working through our own stuff and so on.
Oh yeah I love that. I have people who are like, “Can you help me open my third eye?” And I am like, “Why do you want to open your third eye?” “Well, because I want to get out of my job and I want to work as a psychic.” “Ok, why do you want to work as a psychic?” “Oh because that must fun and that must be easy and I’m not getting enough money doing what I’m doing.” I say, “Well it’s not going to happen that way.”
I don’t think it’s going to work
It’s not a “get out of jail free” card. You know, opening your third eye doesn’t solve all your problems, I can assure you, and people who have tried really hard to open their third eye most of them have gone mad, right?
Yes, plenty of examples.
Because of what they saw right, they weren’t ready for that. Don’t bring that upon yourself. Allow it to evolve as it’s supposed to. Your job is to honor who you are and to move authentically with who are and all of your gifts will evolve as they are supposed to.
Absolutely.
So that’s what our light language should be for right. And we won’t go too long because I have a propensity to fall into a space. But we won’t let that happen because I know we are on a time frame. To really help people honor who they are and to really allow their own gifts to become more obvious to them so that they can just honor what they’ve got and really strengthen what they’ve got in a very natural way without needing it to be something to make themselves good, right, or proper because a lot of people are looking for validation in their gifts as well. But then oh that means that I am worthy of being here. And really you have to be worthy and then your gifts come. You can’t make gifts around becoming worthy as well for us.
I love that. That’s perfect.
You can’t pull the horse before the cart or the cart before the horse rather. So there will be connotations of finding yourself to be feeling safe to have your gifts. Of being worthy to display your gifts and this idea that this is subtle and easy. Your gifts are easy and natural.
And fun!
And fun! It’s gotta be fun. If you’re not having fun doing what you’re doing then you’re not doing what you’re supposed to be doing. Right. Because it is fun and even when it’s heavy, you know, like I do some heavy stuff. Sometimes I’m doing exorcism type work. Helping people really release some heavy stuff but it’s still fun. Even though it’s heavy. And if we can’t laugh while we’re doing that stuff then we’re in the wrong game. That’s it.
So cool. Let’s take some breaths then and relax and fall into a bit of a space. And please it’s probably best if you don’t try to multitask too much while I do this because it can be a little bit disconnecting from reality while you’re in the space.
So, breathe relax and enjoy. Just take a breath, allow yourself to expand as you inhale. Allow yourself to relax as you exhale beyond what you understand the expansion and relaxation to be. Just take a deep breath and fall into a bit of space. I think you don’t need to listen to the sound just let it wash over you and through you and let it create a space when you have an experience and that’s it and enjoy it.
And here it comes and it will be fast.

So as you inhale. Allow yourself to feel the beautiful warmth, beautiful life. And energy swelling in your solar plexus and upper abdomen, and in your power center. This energy is flowing through for you from the higher aspects of you, flowing into your being and expanding within with a beautiful, warm, confident light. Bring through the elements or the aspects of safety, worthiness, freedom with who you truly are. But what you’re doing is sharing your higher aspects with your personality self. Bringing heaven through to Earth. And you’re doing it with your intention. As you breathe, inspiring, filling yourself with this energy. As you exhale you allow that energy to flow out through you. Washes out through the very simple core of your being, radiating in every direction. Cleansing you from the inside out, washing away your fears, washing away your resistance, washing away the residue from various traumatic experiences you have had in the past, often distant past. Of course that energy can heal your physical body, cleanse your emotional body, balance and align your mental body. But it’s also bringing you into connection with who you truly are. And all of the gifts that you naturally have; and while we are not trying to do this with any force trying to get anywhere just allow yourself to align with where you are going allow your focus to be on what your choosing to step into, rather than try to fix the things that you perceive are wrong with your life. Breath in and allow this infinite source of energy that you are to flow through you, and it is an infinite source so you don’t need to worry about running out of it. Love and light flowing through your being, from your higher self through to your lower self. To help empower you the personality self into stepping forward into who you truly wish to be. And know that your purpose is not something that’s set in stone, it’s not something that is so concrete, it’s dynamic and it will keep evolving. And the path forward is to just take one step at a time, whatever step you feel to take. Despite the fact that your mind may not be able to conceive how that step is going to work for you, if you feel to do it in your heart, if it feels good, if it feels expansive, if it feels joyful, give it a go. Take the risk, what’s the worst that can happen. Trust yourself. You are loved. This important to remember. There are infinite numbers of beings and spirits who are loving and supporting you at all times. That is there for you whenever you choose it, whenever you choose to receive that love and support it’s waiting for you. It might solve all your problems; but you’re still going to have to go on your path. But you won’t feel so alone. So choose to feel, choose to receive the love and support that there for you from spirit. And follow your heart and take one step at a time, keep choosing, keep breathing. That’s it. That’s your life. All the plans, all the needs, all the sections you might have, are all very dynamic. So, allow them to change to suit who you are right now. You are loved and you are love itself. From that space of love, choose love for yourself my friends, choose love for yourself. And so it is, it is so. Now and always and in always. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
