Welcome and blessings to our mystical travelers. This is Wisdom of the Ages and you can listen to many more uplifting and spiritual episodes on superpowerexperts.com/wisdom-of-the-ages. So let me tell you why you’re going to be excited about this episode. Today, I’m speaking with Joyce van der Lely. A creative woman and Artemist who dares to be unapologetically herself.

So these days you have to be fearless to believe in love and creativity, but I do. As an author, I have noticed in the world today, people are quick to criticize and cut each other down, but this is not what I practice. It’s a waste of time. The most ignorant people can destroy each other, but it takes true wisdom to create, to be kind and loving. To be wise. Let’s bring in the wisdom of the ages. So let me tell you a little bit more about my guest. Joyce van der Lely helps the multi-passionate entrepreneurs and other magical misfits who are ready to make their mark, achieve their dreams. She likes to work with the curious, the weird, and the wacky ones. I think that sounds fabulous. She likes divergent thinkers, soulful seekers, change-makers, and warrior women. I’m signing up. Okay. She fits right here on the Superpower Network. So there are many people listening to this show who are daring to wake up. We’re a crew. So welcome, Joyce.

I am so happy to be here with you and thank you so much for having me and hello to everybody that’s tuning in and listening to this kind of wisdom.

I really enjoyed and I’ve been on quite a few shows with you now, and I always loved the positive things that you put out. The mini upbeat things you’re sharing with the globe. We need it now. We do need these things now.

Yes. I believe you always have a choice to either think positively or the other side. And I choose to think positively rather. Yeah, it helps me get through each and every day.

I think so. I think so. And we do have a choice. We do have a choice in every moment. And also I can believe that if we if we’re making, if we choose the positive, and if we are co-creators of our reality, it means that we’re always putting something positive into the planet. We’re always helping other people. We’re bringing health and wellbeing. It’s easy to criticize and confuse people. That’s actually easy. And I like the fact that you’re fierce and you support everyone.

Determined, let’s put it that way. I’m determined. I’m a determined, creative dreamer.

You are. You are that. So when I was looking at your website, I love this idea of being unapologetically you. So how did that come about?

So as I said I now choose to always look at things in a positive way. It does come strangely enough with frowns and people looking at me like “are you serious?” And it feels like often there is a need for explaining why I choose to live my life the way I do. And as you said, it’s actually quite easy to be criticizing things and to move with the majority of things that seem to be like that. Like the messages, the criticism, the talking down, and all that. It’s easier to just move with that crowd than to stand for your own dreams and for your own desires.

And following those you’re a bit awkward. You’re a bit strange often or that’s how people perceive you. So then you need to explain that to them. Why you do this and why it is good. I have no problem explaining why it is good but it is. It is so strange that in society, the majority of people seem to more easily go along that other path than going for their dreams. And I feel like if we all follow our dreams and follow our deepest desires, we will be happier people.

I wonder if it’s a divide right now. If we are leaving the Piscean age, which has been all about domination and control, and we’re maybe in that threshold, stepping into the Aquarian Age, which is working with the higher mind and humanity.

Well, there you go. I’m an Aquarius, so maybe that’s also a reason. I don’t know. Yes, I’ve always been a freedom fighter. I don’t know if it’s a freedom fighter, but I’ve always been searching for freedom in every way of life. In every way of expression. I feel like if people are free to express if you can feel if you can get to that point where you can freely express yourself. And be open and honest to yourself and to others, then things change.

It’s important. I have to stop for a quick ad break, but I really want to find out more about what an Artemist is and continue this conversation. So where can people find you? What’s your website?

Well, it’s easy, theartemist.com.

Perfect. Okay. So stay tuned. We’ll be right back.
