Hello, I’m Jennifer Urezzio, Super Power Expert and founder of Soul Language, and this is SuperPowers of the Soul. I’m so excited today because I got to talk to Lydia Mandell, and we’re talking about creating self-esteem with your body. Welcome, Lydia.

Thank you, Jennifer. I’m excited to be here.

Yay! So often I ask this question about what people think the superpower of their soul is, and I’ve been changing it a little to asking what do you think the super power of your soul is for you, and then what do you think the super power of your soul is for others?

My superpower of the soul for myself I would say is learning or developing and figuring out, those aren’t exactly the words I want to use, but just knowing that I am whole and complete in my body, in my soul, exactly as I am, and tapping into that on a regular basis helps me to show up in a way where I feel more connected, more like myself, and also to live in this body, this human body, that sometimes can be difficult to live in.

Beautiful, and for others, what’s the super power for others?

My superpower for others is to help people bring together body and soul.

My superpower for others is to help people bring together body and soul. So what I mean by that is, oftentimes people are so stuck in their heads. They’re float around ideas, stories. To get people out of the story and back in their bodies and creating that connection between a person and the divine, through their body and making it a whole complete person. As a whole versus this is my soul, this is my body, this is my brain. But that it all works together in an integrated way.

I love it because whenever we do anything, whenever we create separation, we then create with separation and then we are in struggle. So I love what you’re saying. We talk a lot about sacred purpose and I think so often, here’s another case, especially with master healers, which you are one, when we talk about sacred purpose, people go actually, okay, here’s what I’m here to do. I think sacred purpose is much bigger than that. I think there’s a being that you are profoundly here to experience and then offer that experience to others. So with that definition, what do you consider your sacred purpose?

My sacred purpose is to model the behavior of wholeness in my body and in my being to show up, just to show up as myself, whether I’m having a bad day, whether I feel great, and know that I am always connected divinely and always an integrated person and to show people that you can be this way. They don’t have to be like me. They can do it in their own way, but I feel like my sacred purpose is to show up and shine that light on the fact that everyone isn’t broken.

Beautiful. I love that. So, what is a common theme that your soul has shared with you throughout your journey?

Common theme that my soul has shared with me is that I am definitely enough. Another common theme is that I can use my body as a vehicle to share with other people in terms of how I show up in my work, how I show up in my life, including dance and movement, which is something that I had shied away from for a long time because in my brain I didn’t have the kind of body that shows up and does that in public.

Love it. How does all of your soul reflect in your work that you do with others?

I think all of my soul reflects in my work by just being able to create a strong holding environment for people to feel comfortable sharing, to know that they are fully supported, however they show up, every time they show up. That I am not judgmental, that they can be who they are in the moment and I will always believe that they’re whole and complete even if they don’t believe it themselves.

Beautiful. Okay. Before we do our break here, let everyone know the website, how to get in touch with you.
