Why is supporting your kids through their early relationships important? In this episode of Superpower Mommas, host Tatiana Berindei talks with Neva Lee Recla about parents’ biggest mistakes when discussing relationships. It is important that parents should make space and be open with big feelings and diversity of expression. In that way, families exercise healthy and successful relationships with the younger members. Tune in to know how to engage with your children as love-filled beings by supporting them through their early relationships.

Tatiana Berindei:

Hello everyone and welcome to the Superpower Mommas show. I’m your host Tatiana Berindei and we’ve got another kid talk episode for you. Neva Lee Recla is here joining us. Today, we are going to be talking about supporting your kids through their early relationships. This is something Neva has just walked through, and I’m so excited to have you on here with us today, Neva, to talk about this. This is a big juicy topic we’re going to dive into today.

Neva Lee Recla:

It is. I think it’s a really important one as well. I think when it comes to the topic of relationships and parenting, sometimes people get squirmy because it tends to mean your kid is growing up and getting older.

Tatiana Berindei:

Thinking usually people get squirmy. I think that’s pretty safe to say.

Neva Lee Recla:

Yeah. And so I think it’s an important topic, especially when your kids are getting into their first relationship and how to handle those, whether it’s romantic or just platonic, whatever it is. On how to handle those conversations and how to best support them.

Tatiana Berindei:

Yes. Oh my gosh. I feel like we could have a whole series just on this topic, Neva. So this is obviously going to be a really good one. So I know you’re going to want to stick around for it. We have some really exciting things coming up over at Super Power Experts. If you have not yet gone over there to check it out, please, please, please do so.
