Superpower Parenting

Parenting and all of its various subtopics vied for center stage during much of the pandemic as everything from health protocols to schooling to politics to mental health to social justice to gender identification and sexual orientation became fodder for family feuds. Whether we’re raising youngsters, guiding teens, advising adult children or redeveloping our own inner child, if we want them to experience better, we must strive to be better. We must persevere to see the world as it could be, not as we created it to be. We must start with asking if the parenting techniques we wield get us closer to the world we want or continue to draw us away. If the inevitable response is that we continue to engineer the exact same scenarios because we continue to peddle the same parental wisdom we received, that we later evolved to debunk, then we need more than just good parenting, we need superpower parenting.
