The concept that our communication impacts us, others in our lives and the world around us isn’t new. But what if our communication actually creates us, others and the world? How much power does how we communicate really hold in the overall scheme of things? Well, as it turns out, quite a bit. In fact, the communication process we choose and our dedicated mastery of it informs everything about our lives. From what we believe, to what we think, to what we feel, to what we speak, everything lines up to create the very world we step into each morning. And that means, we have a whole lot more control of our environments than once thought. Essentially, the world you see today was formed by what you thought and communicated…yesterday.
So, what is it about this awareness that lights us up and terrifies us in equal measure? Simply put, if we adopt any theory claiming that management of our internal mechanisms dictates the world we see around us and everything in it, we then get to face a very real choice regarding what to do with that information. If we hold to old paradigms and create from that place, we’re destined to remain in the same awareness level we’re in now. However, if we dare entertain the notion that cause and effect happen at echelons above where most of us comprehend, and certainly above where we’re used to communicating from, we start to understand that our subconscious programs and behaviors actually create on our behalf, with or without our conscious consent. From there, we can take ownership and set about reimagining our internal and external communication patterns to more closely align with our present awareness and beliefs.
