So, we are in, I think everyone knows this, without a doubt, we’re in times of shift and change. And what a great time to restore our faith in miracles. So I own Infinite Light Publishing & Media, and I actively look for books that bring hope to the planet and help us establish a union with the higher power. That’s my gig. That’s what I love. And I ran across this wonderful book by the author, Robin Gregory. It’s a novel called The Improbable Wonders of Moojie Littleman. And it’s one of these stories that will just make your heart melt. The protagonist is an orphan and unusual boy who first appears as a baby in a wooden fishing boat, a bucket actually, on the steps of San Miguel de las Gaviotas.

And it’s a little bit, now I understand, it’s a little bit like Robin’s own story, but she will tell us about this. But Moojie is a bit unusual. He has bright black eyes, enormous ears, and magical powers. The nuns whisper that he’s Hostile and over the course of the book, we understand who the Hostiles are. So sometimes, those that we think are enemies are really friends. And we’re going to talk, after the ad break, we’re going to talk about this because right now this is a really important concept.

So Moojie might be able to blink and snuff out a candle, but there are some other problems that he’s having. He can’t walk well or speak well, at least at the beginning of the book. So in the human world, he’s considered disabled. And I think this is also a really important message too, because you know, ultimately, all of us have superpowers. We just might appear a little different.

But Moojie’s an orphan and he wants nothing more than a family, a home, a body that works, and that really tugs at my heartstrings. I couldn’t put the book down. I actually read it in one day. Anyways, as Moojie discovers, he has many, many gifts waiting to be found out, as we all do. So the book begins with a magical prologue that I would like to read to you, and it goes like this.

Once I dreamed of being crippled and lost in the woods. Using umbrellas for crutches, I circled back to a giant oak tree, three times fell to the ground, and burst into tears. The leaves of the tree rustled. And I looked up and asked, “Which way from here?” “Depends on where you’re going,” said the tree. “I want to go home,” I said. “You are home,” said the tree. “But I want to find my real home,” I said. “You don’t have to go anywhere,” the tree said. I cried all the more. The tree continued, “All right, go on a journey, if you must. Just get up and walk.” “But that would be a miracle,” I said, “A miracle, you say,” asked the tree. “I don’t believe in miracles,” I said. “Oh, you’re talking to a tree. Aren’t you?”

So I just thought that was so cute. Maybe when we enter the fifth dimension, the trees will talk to us. I certainly hope so.
