How can we find genuine peace, happiness, and abundance? In this episode of Wisdom of the Ages, host Ayn Cates Sullivan is joined by guest Mabel Katz. Mabel is the author of the book called Zero Frequency, that talks about the concept of returning to a zero point energy. Mabel’s book explains that at the core and zero point of everything, there is a divine. Mabel shares the Hawaiian practice of Hoʻoponopono and how it can give us the opportunity to go to the zero point, clear the way, and start again. Join Ayn and Mabel in today’s episode to find genuine peace, happiness, and abundance.
Welcome and blessings. This is your spiritual friend Ayn Cates Sullivan. And I’m here today with Mabel Katz. She’s got this beautiful book I just read. Yes, called “Zero Frequency.” And I think, maybe what touched me most about this book, Mabel, was really this concept that if we return to this zero point, this zero energy. That is inside of all the religious traditions. It seems like, you were talking about your encounters with some Muslim men and some Christian people, and then with your Jewish background and so forth. That really, at the core of all that, at the zero point of all of that, there’s a divine. And the divine is this zero, from which we all operate. And I really, it was funny, I was just sitting in my truck outside reading it, and I just was like, what a beautiful message. Thank you so much for coming and joining me here on the Wisdom of the Ages to talk more about peace, happiness, and abundance.
I love what I do. It’s kind of my passion. As I traveled the world, I realized we are all family. I don’t know when we are going to get it, that there is only one father. We are, we all have the same father. So, the idea is yes, I had encounters with Muslims. I had encounters with Orthodox Jews. Also, that told me one day in one training in Israel, they told me, “You know, we are religious, but today you gave us a big lesson about faith.” And then I realized that being religious doesn’t mean that you are a believer because many times you are religious for the wrong reason. You have to belong, to find acceptance, not to have problems with a family, whatever, for again, for the wrong reasons. I think, definitely spirituality and religion have nothing to do with each other. Spirituality is where all the answers that we are looking for are. And we go through life looking in the wrong places.
In the beginning you started talking about the Hawaiian practice of Hoʻoponopono. And I have to say, I had this great experience maybe about 10 years ago when I went to Kauai. And I worked with the kahuna. And we did this hoʻoponopono process. And it was very powerful, especially with my family members. Well, in the practice I was doing, I felt I was forgiving myself for places where I had been, probably we just went off track. Maybe the body-mind complex was a little off. And it gave us the opportunity to clear, to go to that zero point that you talk about to just clear the way and start again.
All my work is based on hoʻoponopono. That’s the only thing I practice. Definitely, everything is based on hoʻoponopono and my experiences, even being an accountant. I used to be a tax specialist here in Los Angeles. And I actually practiced it with my audits, tax audits before the IRS here in the U.S., etc. representing my clients. And I saw some amazing results. I couldn’t even believe it and my clients even less. The thing is this, I created “Zero Frequency” to make it more practical. I come from the business world. I understand intellect. I’m still a very intellectual person, myself. But my opening, my mind, I started being responsible for whatever is in me. We talk about 100 percent responsibility and we are not saying we are guilty, or we are bad people, or we are sinners.
What is it that we are responsible is the programs that we downloaded. Many peace times beliefs, judgments, opinions, and that are running your life. Your life is the monitor. Yes? You should talk to monitors and we want the monitor to change, but actually we need to delete. We need, what is it in me that is attracting this, and I don’t like it, yes? I better delete it. Hoʻoponopono is the delete key in the keyboard of your computer. And it’s very effective, very simple. It’s not really about feeling guilty again. It actually sets you free. It’s like paying debt, but in an easy way. It’s kind of closing doors so other doors can open. And it works for everybody. It’s not for everybody because not everybody will want to take 100 percent responsibility. People are so used to blaming and complaining, even though they don’t get the results they expect, but if you like natural, yes, it’s easy. And you don’t realize you are kind of in this vicious circle.
I just have to take a quick ad break to talk about our topic of peace, happiness, and abudance, but so, where can people go and look for your website?
Zerofrequency.com. And if you go zerofrequency.com/book, you can find out more about the book too.
Excellent. Okay. So, stay tuned, we’ll be right back.
