Welcome and blessings. This is Ayn Cates Sullivan host of the Wisdom of the Ages podcast show, where we invite the sacred into modern day reality. So, this show is really about the mysteries of the feminine body and taking care of our body mind. In most of the religious training that I’ve had, that was really not what we were focused on. It wasn’t until I became interested in the priestess path that I realized how important it is to take care of our body and our mind.
Right now, right now and during this time of the pandemic, we actually have time for ourselves. A lot of us do have time and we can go, we can go and put our feet in the grass. We can maybe walk beside a body of water or even take a swim and start to connect with nature. So, I just finished a fast. I think it’s a good time to cleanse now if we can. I did a seven day fast and just had green juice, mostly cucumber for seven days. It’s so interesting to see what happens with the body.
I was doing a little yoga with a little prayer and meditation and about day five or day six, my mind became so clear. I think, when we’re fasting, it’s very easy to realize that we actually aren’t the body mind complex. So, we’re actually an infinite self that is much, much more vast than anything that we can imagine from the egoistic perspective.
So, self-care can actually be a very, very spiritual activity. Because when the body’s clear, and this is why the yogis did their. They knew that to do the mountain pose, so they would become like the mountain so that they could feel the steadfastness and the strength of the mountain. The cobra, so that you can feel the movement, the aliveness of the Shakti, of the pranic life forces.
So, if we give ourself a time right now to allow the body mind complex, to reset, to give ourself a moment to stick our toe in the ocean of consciousness to disappear, we might just become quite renewed and the earth changes going on too. I don’t know if people have been feeling dizzy or exhausted or suddenly maybe ecstatic, but there’s a lot happening in the transformation of the planet. You can check out the Schumann resonance field, and just see, just watch what’s happening as these cosmic rays are hitting the earth and they’re actually inviting our higher mind turn on.
I mean, that’s why I feel quite firmly that we’re shifting into a new world and whatever it looks like right now. We have this opportunity to awaken to the mysteries of the feminine body and the higher self, to a world in which we can all live together and thrive as one awake consciousness and our own uniqueness. It’s not about the sameness at all. It’s about each one of us blossoming into our own unique and special lotus or flower.
So, my guest today is a wonderful woman. Her name is Chloe Isidora. She’s written an absolutely stunning book called Sacred Self-Care. I think it’s a very important book for us right now, especially if you’re in that place where you’re just beginning to awaken and you’re wondering if this spiritual stuff is real. It’s a great way to begin. In our history, in the history of her story, I like to call the feminist history her story, we understand that the feminine traditions were systematically destroyed. So, part of what we’re doing right now is we’re beginning to include the body, the journey of descent back into our spiritual practices, because it’s not about leaving the planet. It’s about fully showing up, embodying this present moment, being the precious pearl, the point of existence, because from that place, everything can happen.
So, when we come back from this short break, I’m going to introduce Chloe. We’re going to talk about Sacred Self-Care and also we might get into wound healing, the mysteries of the feminine body, and the holy grail, which is my favorite subject and our sacred bodies. So stay tuned, we’ll be right back. If you want to, you can go and listen to some other authors, leaders, spiritual teachers, and some of my own monologues on superpowerexperts.com/wisdomoftheages. So, it’s all about spiritual awakening and conversations that I hope you’ll enjoy. So, stay tuned. We’ll be right back.
