Mysteries of Creation
Have you ever been so curious about the mysteries of creation? How can we unravel the truth behind it? In this episode of Wisdom of Ages, host Ayn Cates Sullivan and guest Karen Elkins try to reveal the mysteries of creation. They revolve their conversation around understanding the source and the elements: earth, fire, wind, water, and ether. Ayn and Karen also tackle how science and mysticism come together. Tune in as this episode delves deeper into the stories of giants, gods, and aliens from the sky and why the promises of artificial intelligence pose a significant danger to humanity.

I’m excited about this episode today, and I’m going to call it the Mysteries of Creation. We’ll see where it goes. It has a mysterious feeling about it. My guest is Karen Elkins, author of a visually stunning and intellectually evocative book called InsideOUT: Revealing the Mysteries of Creation and the Wisdom to Live Your Life Consciously Connected. It’s one of the most beautiful books I’ve seen.
I actually, because I’m a culture of creativity and I’m surrounded by people who are into solutions, I bought copies for my children this morning and sent them. So I think we need to get this book out into the world. So check it out. Now, Karen Elkins is an entrepreneur and also the creator of SCIENCE TO SAGE magazine and radio show. Now, if you’re interested in consciousness there’s a whole world here for you to go and explore. So go to her website, sciencetosagemagazine.com. I have been listening to things all morning. Wow. We’re going to have a fun show. Okay.
So clearly Karen Elkin’s enlightenment drive is on. So let’s find out how to live more consciously and how science and mysticism are supporting a revolution and consciousness. Hello, Karen.
Karen Elkins:
Hello.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Yeah, so I love your book. Absolutely. Here we are, it’s audio-only, unfortunately, and this book deserves to be seen. Is there a place, a website, people can look at it so they can get the visual?
Karen Elkins::
Yeah. InsideOUTbook.com is one place where they can find it.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Oh, okay.
Karen Elkins::
Yeah. It kind of gives you an overview.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Okay. So that, okay. So I need to go look at that too. So an amazing amount of work, lots of people are involved in the creation of this. Tell us just in a nutshell, because I have to take an ad break, but in a nutshell, what was the inspiration behind this book?
Karen Elkins:
The inspiration was, I think all of us have sort of a childhood quest and mine was, how does God create this magnificent universe? How is it that there’s no one kind of tree? One kind of flower? One kind of anything? Creation seems to be incredibly diverse and when I started a school for my son, which he was gifted and creative and didn’t fit in the box, I started putting different ideas and seeing the synthesis of things in ways I hadn’t seen before.
And then I started putting on international. I started doing events for international speakers like Gregg Braden and people like that, and all of a sudden pieces of the puzzle started coming together, and it was like, whoa. So this is a synthesis of about 60 different scientists, my own downloads, and inspired by spirit to do a book. I’m dyslexic, so I need to do a picture book. The book is a journey.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
The book is definitely a journey. You also have some poetry in this book and I’m going to read one too because I just love this poem. I hope it’s okay.
Karen Elkins:
Yeah.
Karen Elkins:
Go for it.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
You belong to the web. It’s very short, but it goes, within this cosmic web, we dance as a particle, a ripple in the wave expressing our light, like a pearl on a string, spinning our desires on a silver thin weave. Wow. It’s beautiful. Okay, at the very end, if the listeners will wait, the very end, I would like you to read garden for Eve. It’s pretty mind-blowing.
Karen Elkins:
It’s kind of the conclusion.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Okay. All right, everybody, well stay tuned. We’ll be right back.
