Ayn Cates Sullivan:

Okay. So today we’re discussing the ways in which science and mysticism are merging and what’s happening with this new world that’s starting to blossom here. What is our role in this? So my guest today is Loren Swift, a psychotherapist, nonviolent communications trainer, and author of The Earth Keeper’s Handbook: Assuming Leadership in a New World. So we’re going to explore her companion program also, I hope, which is for people … And I suspect a lot of people that are listening to this would be curious about how we can tend the earth well. Anyway, so let’s find out how we can start making a big difference. Loren Swift writes in Earth Keeper’s Handbook,, “Life gives, it creates, it reaches for more and when blocked it doesn’t give up, it transcends its own limitations.” Just think of that, we can do that. So I love this. So Loren, welcome to Wisdom of the Ages.
Loren Swift:
Thank you so much, Ayn. Lovely to be here.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
That’s really, really good. So I’m just going to start just simply, why did you write Earth Keepers? What inspired you?
Loren Swift:
Thank you. Well, I have been teaching the information for quite a while and working with clients and I really wanted to be able to reach a wider audience. And I saw the need for transformation because I care about the earth so much and the world and life and evolution. I wanted to orient people towards themselves, towards their inner work and the inner life, and offer practical ways to shift the internal paradigm that we’ve integrated from the outside, from the competition and polarity to inclusion and cooperation. So I put together the practices to do that inner work so that then when we step outside into our relationships, we have the ground of being and understanding that we need to transcend polarities and work together in relationships. And collaborate for the betterment of all, and then to go from there to be able to work expediently in groups and communities to-
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
I mean, this is so important right now, Loren. I mean the world is so divided, or humanity is so divided. And so I really loved your book and I think there are many, many practical ways here, that we can look at and start coming together and start learning how to function as a community. I don’t think we’ve really been taught how. So, I’ve got to take a quick ad break. Can you give people your website so they can find out more about you and all the work you’re doing?
Loren Swift:
Sure. It’s lorenswift.com.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Okay. Sorry. I totally interrupted. Can you give that again?
Loren Swift:
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Wonderful. And don’t you also have earthkeepersall.com?
Loren Swift:
Yes. I also have that one, EarthKeepersAll is also my social media handle.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Yeah. I looked at some videos on there. It was a lovely, lovely website. Okay. So stay tuned we’ll be right back.
