Earth Healing
How can we acquire earth healing? Why do we need to establish communication with our ancestors? In this episode of Wisdom of Ages, host Ayn Cates Sullivan and guest Amy Dempster talk about the healing power of the Earth and the significance of communicating with nature. Amy is the founder of the Earth Tenders Academy, a platform that teaches individuals how to discern their state of life, uncover their gifts, and offer to heal energy to the Earth. Tune in and get to know Amy and her journey unraveling the unforetold stories of this world.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Welcome friends and mystical travelers, this is Ayn Cates Sullivan, host of Wisdom of the Ages and we’re going to have a lot of fun today. This is one of my favorite subjects, we’re going to speak about earth healing. And yes, the earth is alive and we can work with the earth, so this is going to be great.
My guest today is Amy Dempster, an earth healing expert. I think we need about a million more earth-healing experts, so she’s going to be busy after the show I hope. So with nature spirits, Amy tends seven portals in the mountains of Northwest Montana. I want to hear about that too because Montana I know is a very sacred place. Amy Dempster leads the Earth Tenders Academy, which is run online. A great thing to do now. Amy Dempster has a popular blog called Following Hawks and she is the host of the podcast Earth Keepers. Amy, welcome to Wisdom of the Ages.
Amy Dempster:
Thank you so much for having me. I’m looking forward to our chat.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
Me too. Me too. This is just so much fun. I spoke to you a little bit as we started about my deep love of nature and just, starting out as a kid just walking in the woods. I think any of us can walk in the woods and just feel that something shifts, I have a friend that says, “Well, trees are fifth-dimensional beings. So, they help us understand how to raise our frequency.”
Amy Dempster:
Yeah. Â
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
How did you start all of this?
Amy Dempster:
Yeah. Well, it really was something that unfolded over a period of many years and I think probably like all of us on our spiritual journeys it just continues to unfold more every day. But, it really kind of initially started with the hawks and they really started coming very close to me in unusual ways that they hadn’t before. So, it wasn’t like I hadn’t seen hawks in my environment or they didn’t live where I lived, but all of a sudden I was having these experiences where they would fly right in front of me and land on a low branch of a tree while I was out walking, or I had one knock on my window of my house and then sit on the fence and wait for me to notice it. And, I was in the vet’s office one day and somebody brought an injured hawk in and set it in a crate right by my feet.
I just, they were these really unusual experiences where I had to start saying, what is happening, where are all these hawks coming from? And, I think initially I was asking the questions like, is there someone trying to communicate with me, a loved one or is there a message that I’m supposed to be receiving? And, I wasn’t really sure where to start or how to even figure that out. And so in retrospect, I kind of look back as, they were really just part of this initiation onto this journey, right? This, leading me down the path of asking the questions and then asking the questions, of course, I just went deeper and deeper and deeper.
And a number of years later, my husband and I had moved to Montana on some intuitive guidance that we needed to live near pine trees and water, and the pieces all fell together quite quickly. And shortly after moving there, I would be out on walks in my neighborhood and I started realizing I was receiving messages, but I couldn’t quite figure out where they were coming from initially. And I finally realized it was the trees, the trees were communicating with me. And so, in that process of then trying to figure that out, that was really when I said, “All right. If they can talk to me, certainly I can talk to them too, right? That should be possible.” And so, that really led me another level deeper into this journey.
Ayn Cates Sullivan:
