So let me tell you why you’re going to be excited about this episode. My guest today is Leslie Sloane. She’s an Oracle, Master Healer, Alchemist, Pioneer, internationally recognized author, and a contagiously joyful person. I’ve actually known her for years, so I’m going to share some personal information, a little bit. Hopefully, I won’t embarrass you, Leslie, but I’ll share a few things about you before I bring you on.
Great.
One of my favorite quotes from you is, “Through the sound of love, all things can be healed and made whole again.” Just bringing that frequency of love right here, I think, is really powerful. We need it at this time. So anyway, I’ve known Leslie Sloane as someone who midwives the soul for quite a long time. I started running into color therapy in about 1990, where I met Vicky Wall. Right before she crossed over, she had created the Aura-Soma color therapy. Really into it, and then studied with Mike Booth, and I taught it for about 10 years.
Because you see, I think color and spiritual awakening go together. I mean, when we work with color, first of all, the ego doesn’t think it’s dangerous, even though it can be. When we work with color, we can begin the experience of direct knowing. We’re going to get into the show about what that means, but it’s really about how we can create our own direct knowledge with the divine, which is useful in this time of inter-dimensional shift, the things that are going on.
So I had some experiences of very powerful color. I think the first one probably was at Dev Aura, which is in Lincolnshire, England. I was working with Mike Booth, and I was training, and this particular night, I decided I wanted to sit by myself in one of the color therapy rooms. The rooms were really terrific. It’s an old English cottage, and then in there, there was a built-in colored shelf with all these beautiful colors.
If you can imagine for a minute that there are these bottles, at the time they were called balance bottles. They’re called equilibrium bottles now. But they have oil in the upper fraction and water in the lower fraction, and they’re kind of alive. They have flower essences and gem essences, and so they have this frequency in them. So, anyway, people come from all over the world to study this and it’s based on Kabbalah, it’s very esoteric, and I find it quite fascinating.
So, anyway, I was sitting on this wall of color and I noticed that sounds were coming from the bottles. As I sat there, I even thought, “Have I just lost the ticket? What’s going on here?” But I feel that the colors were singing, they were telling stories, and I was really in awe of it. I sat there for ages, and then the next day, when I was sitting with my colleagues, I allowed that to continue to open and I realized that what the colors can do, if you really tap into the many dimensions with colors, they can really help you understand the unfolding of consciousness, the many different levels of your soul, and actually, the process of spiritual awakening.
So colors, I feel, are very, very important, which is why I really wanted Leslie to come on the show. So let me just tell you how I met Leslie. So I taught Aura-Some for quite a long time, and this particular day I was teaching Aura-Soma at the Healing Center of Santa Monica. I used to co-own it and run it. Anyway, this little dark-haired fairy shows up, and the first thing I noticed about her is that, while she was small and glittery, she had a wonderful belly laugh. I’m sure we’ll hear some more of that in a minute. I really have always enjoyed laughing with Leslie.
So she was a student. She studied color for a long time when I did the Aura-Some, and then later in my color therapy years, and then after that, she decided to design her own color therapy system, which is called Auracle’s. We’re going to be talking about that today. She started with the liquid, also, and then has moved into her cards, which, they’re really neat. What’s neat about the cards is you can really use them anywhere in the world, instantaneously.
