Warm welcome and blessings. This is Ayn Cates Sullivan, host of the Wisdom of the Ages podcast show, where we invite the sacred into modern day reality. Let me tell you why you’re going to be excited about this episode. Many years ago, when I was living in Britain, I took a long course. It was a year-long course in aromatherapy. During that time… The British countryside is so beautiful. You’ve got all these flowers, and people have this wonderful connection to plants and the fairy realms and so forth, but during that time, I began to realize how much plants interact with us and how scents can affect us both emotionally and spiritually.
We can also clean with them. It’s a wonderful… I use lavender to clean my home, but aromatherapy is incredibly powerful. Lavender is calming. Eucalyptus oil helps us breathe and rose essential oils, especially the ones from Bulgaria, have such a high frequency that they can help us connect to the divine. It’s said that the Priestesses of Avalon anointed those who were ready to experience the higher realms.
Of course, we love that. We’re inviting the sacred into everyday reality, but before I introduce a priestess who will explain more about the alchemy of aromatherapy and the benefits of anointing, I’d like to share this wisdom quote with you. It goes like this. It’s by Eckhart Tolle. “I don’t believe in an outside agent that creates the world than walks away, but I feel very strongly there is an intelligence at work in every flower and every blade of grass and every cell of my body. And it is that intelligence that I wouldn’t say created the universe. It’s creating the universe. It’s an ongoing process.”
I’m here to co-create with my wonderful guest, Allison Stillman. Allison Stillman is an author, teacher, coach, and an acclaimed aromatherapeutic alchemist, or aromatic alchemist. She has been a student of aromatherapy, alchemy and spirituality for 40 years and has been deepening her connection to love her entire life. Her book, The Sacred Art of Anointing, was the first of its kind, and we’re going to hear a lot more about that. I’m very curious about anointing. Allison continues to educate people about aromatherapy, aromatic alchemy… For some reason, it’s hard to say… aromatic alchemy and the ancient art of anointing. Welcome Allison.

Thank you. I have no choice. The divine guides me and directs me, and I have learned over the years to just say yes.
It’s the best thing to say. Just say yes to true nature. The way in which you’re blossoming, I guess we just have to get out of our own way so that we can blossom.
Absolutely.
I know that you’re all about love and the frequency of love. Can you explain your mission in life?
Yes. From the time I was a little girl, three or four years old, five years old, remember how people used to come up to us and say, “What do you want to be when you grow up?” People would respond with, “Oh, I want to be a doctor or a nurse or a teacher.” My reply would always be, “Well, I just want to give and receive love.” People would say, “Well, you can’t make a living doing that.
Maybe you can.
Actually, I have.
I love it.
I feel like everything I do… And I do a lot of things. I have a lot of avenues of expression, but my fundamental reason for being on the Earth is to raise the frequency of love here. I’ve known that mostly my whole life. Right now, I’m conscious of what that means, but even as a child, I knew that on some level because that was always my response.
