Hi everyone. This is Ashley Palmer, and welcome to the first episode of the We Rise show. In this episode of We Rise, we are going to be talking about how this channel came to be and all of the ideas that kind of just float out in creating this process. So on this episode, our very first one, we have an amazing guest, Tonya Dawn Recla. You guys, Tonya Dawn Recla is so amazing. She is so inspiring. She is the founder of the SuperPower Network, and she’s just amazing. Her ability to follow directions is so inspirational, and I just adore her so much. She is amazing. She’s been such a blessing in my life and not only has she inspired my dreams, but she’s pushed me beyond ways I did not even know I could be pushed. Which is crazy. And constantly encouraging me and pouring into others. She is just amazing. So hardworking, down-to-earth. I respect you so much, Tonya, and I’m so excited that you are on my show. Welcome!
Oh, Ashley, what a delight. I’m giggling internally. I have the biggest grin on my face. I love your light and your energy and super inspired by what you’re doing here on the We Rise show. So, thank you so much for your presence and your brilliance here.
Oh my goodness. Thank you. I love it. Just thank you for saying that, it means so much to me. Well, I am so excited that you are on and our very first guest. We have so much to unpack and talk about. But as I’m setting up this big question, I have to ask, what is your superpower and how do you use it to help others rise?
Love this question. And you know, it had all kinds of forms and it’s taken all kinds of shapes along the way. Justin named one of my first superpowers, Justin is my husband as you know, temporal pre-cognition because people would come to me and say, “Can you see the future?” And I was like, “Ah, I see lots of them. Which one do you want?”
And I was really confused by the question because it doesn’t really work that way, right? There are paths, and how we line up those paths and what the potentials are changes. And so that was one of the first kind of ways that I realized that I work with people, is helping them understand the choice we make in every single moment dictates our experiences and what we receive back from the universe.
And then, of course, expand that out into this beautiful walk with God. To me, that’s really in my heart and soul, the one that I treasure the most is my ability for whatever reason, however it was that God deemed that I was worthy of carrying it, to be able to introduce people to themselves, really. Sometimes for the first time. And to be able to sit and witness that when they remember who they are as a child of God, as an aspect of the divine, and to be present to it, it is the biggest gift in the world to me. And so, I see what it does for others, but my experience pales in comparison to how that feeds me and my walk. And that’s, as you know, what we believe about how superpowers work is that we’re called to realize them, but turn them over to spirit to help guide them.
Because when they’re infused with that divine energy, they don’t just light you up, they light the world up. And when they’re not, they’re precarious at best. They’re dangerous tools at best. They’re challenging at best. And maybe we’ll have successes with them, but we always have a lot of failures too, or a lot of destructive kinds of things that occur. And so early on, we just help people understand, if there’s not a divine connection there, then you’re relying solely on your own will or your own power and it’s fallible. And it’s not a real good percentages game at that point. And so to be able to just speak that into people’s hearts, and they know it’s true because they feel that we all carry that spark that tells us it’s true. And just when you can connect people to that, God takes over from there. And so that experience to me has been the biggest gift in this lifetime.
Wow. That was amazing. I was just like listening to you and just love when you speak, because I feel like there’s so much life that he’s just given, it’s like spilling out of you. And I adore hearing you speak, but when you were speaking, I was thinking of you as like a warrior. I could just picture you going out to battle like you fighting. Fighting with God and fighting for God and fighting against the world and what the world says. And like I think you said, encouraging and protecting people. I literally can see you on a battlefield. I don’t know why! I just kept getting that thought and that vision in my mind. I think that’s such a perfect description of who you are, is someone who’s a warrior for Christ and for God. And just someone who’s so encouraging and fights for what God calls truth, and what’s right.
And so I just love that, you are just amazing. I am so excited for this episode because already the first five minutes, you are just incredible. Okay. Well, welcome, everyone. We’re so excited you’re here. Tonya, where can people find you? Where can people find us? Where can they find our show?

That we can talk about things that really matter to us, and in ways that they matter to us. That’s the first step and do that. Just keep doing that, and you’ll see really remarkable changes in your life just by doing that.

Just really support what they’re doing, folks, because they are stepping out in huge ways, with a tremendous amount of courage to say, “You know what? We believe that we can build a very different tomorrow and we’re going to do it right now. We’re not going to wait.”
And to you all, I just have so much gratitude and I honor you all so much for saying yes to something that’s so counterculture to the world at large, but so in alignment with what you all stand for. And it is really yours to step into, and we’re just honored to walk beside you.
