Hello everyone. This is Tonya Dawn Recla, your Super Power Expert and I have a treat today. We have on the show Ari Gronich and it’s so wonderful for me when I can talk with people and interview them who have I have personally done work with, who I have a personal relationship with because I think that just adds obviously the credibility but I can speak first hand about this particular abilities and his connection to the divine and the work that he does in the world. So he operates Performance Therapy Academy and what’s so brilliant about this is he’s this great mix, this embodiment of these kind of universal principles, these superpowers that we dialogue about and really, really solid practical and impressive education, certifications, that type of stuff. And so we like those crossovers, right, the people who kinda transition from being in a typical box within certain professions and moving into really stewarding the vision that they’ve been given about their work in the world while staying true to kinda where they come from.
I think that that’s a real art and so I’m honored to have him with me. He’s absolutely magical in the sports medicine, kinda … I’m not even gonna lower or demean what he does by trying to put it in any specific box but it truly does speak to this idea of the power and the wisdom that we hold in our bodies and the work that we can do in cooperation with our bodies to move us into really owning some of these higher frequencies and these spaces. And so we’re gonna talk today about how your body is a healer and we’re doing that today with Ari Gronich. So please join me in welcoming him to the show. Welcome Ari.
Thank you. Thank you for having me.
Absolutely. Well, thank you for joining us. I think that there’s so much, as we talked about before the show, I think there’s so much misconception about the body and what it is and what it isn’t, on both sides of the equation. Whether we’re talking about traditional medicine or we’re talking about more of the woo-woo spiritual spaces, I think that there’s a lot of confusion about where we can intersect those two so I really am excited about unfolding this conversation. But before we do, of course, we have to ask. My question is, what are your superpowers?
Well, I think that I have a few.
I’m sure.
So one of them is my hands. They seem to have sonar and radar and X-ray vision built into them and they get to do a great deal of healing work. So that is one of the superpowers.
I think we should just stop it. My superpower is my hands.
Well the hands are the extension of the rest of me.
Yes, yes, they are, oh course. Not to diminish the rest of your superpowers but I just love that. My hands. That’s it, drop the mic.
Yeah. You know, it’s fun because people walk up to me and they go, “Ow.” And then they’ll rub up against me and they just expect that my hand will immediately go to their neck. I know somebody like that. I think her name is Tonya.
I didn’t say ow, technically I just kind of sidled up beside you and like …
But that does tend to happen quite often, I think whether it’s provoked or not. So it is definitely one. Another one is how my brain ties things together. So I say that I think in string theory and by that I mean I see all of the interweaving of connections between people and things so I’ve created a lot of marriages but in my business I use it to tie in the spiritual, emotional, physical, mental, medical and alternate side of medicine and the body. And it’s how I create the results that I get is by that superpower of blend, the blending of things.
Well, and I think that you and I’ve had so many conversations about the amazing work that you do and I see this with a lot our clients and members within the Superpower Experts membership base is that it’s really, really challenging sometimes to be so routed in these kind of traditional spaces but then it’s kind of an occupational hazard, you know, when you start opening yourself up to higher frequencies in your own visions and guidance and now you’re being told, okay, this is more, this is bigger, this is this. But in our society, we don’t necessarily have nice, neat boxes for that. Entrepreneur space is filled with people struggling with how do you encapsulate that you do? And that’s why in the introduction process I wanted to be really clear, it’s all of that and of course that doesn’t excuse the entrepreneur from the work of having to get like super specific about what is the message? What is some marketing? What’s the niche?
And all that stuff but the embodiment, the essence of who we are, is so much more than that and I think that, it can lead to confusion and it can also lead a lot of people to just stop and quit doing their work ’cause it’s like, how do you explain it? So can you talk a little bit about what your journey was like kind of moving out of more traditional spaces and having the courage to step into where you can say something like, my hands have this superpower or I think in string theory? And these things that most circles would be like, uh, what are you talking about? What was that journey like for you?
Because of the way I think it’s kind of interesting. So I went to school when I was 18 for massage. I had already done herbalism and aromatherapy before I left high school so if you can imagine I grew up with a house full of Amway products in the garage. Herbs, face masks, things and so I grew up in like this health world that was kind of weird and unusual at the time. People didn’t know what vitamins and herbs and nutrition was and so I grew up in that. I go into massage school and I’m faced with, in my third month, I’m running the clinic, I have to run a business and I start corporate massage work because we’ve got Nextel, Nike or Intel, Nike and Techtronics right behind my school. So I’ve got business there and then I go to a health fair and I work on Richard Simmons and a couple of pro sports players and so if you could imagine like Richard Simmons and then pro sports in one fail swoop.
Well, Richard Simmons is pro sports, what are you talking about?
I’m sorry but not to offend.
I’m teasing. I’m seeing all his videos in my mind and his short shorts.
Yes.
That’s quite the athlete for sure. Just in a whole different space.
Quite the athlete. And then I have a teacher who comes in and starts talking about things like kinesiology, touch for health, rakey, something called I AM, I acknowledge myself, body circuitry. What’s that?
An extension of an emotionally associated stress energies? What is ease? We’re gonna ease something out? And so I have this science and the woo-woo bombarding me at 18 years old, all at once.
Yeah.
And how I was able to make sense of it was by taking the woo-woo and turning it into science.
Beautiful.
And it’s kinda interesting. So somebody would ask me about reiki, for instance, and this would be somebody who would be like an engineer, for instance. So you get the personality, somebody who’s very logical, very technical and here’s me who’s talking about a lay on of the hands healing. And so I start describing and this was a download at the time, it just happened out of me. I start describing how infrared waves penetrate your body two to three inches, this a provable scientific fact. The palms of your hands produce more infrared wave than anywhere else on your body so as soon as you put your hand on somebody’s body, that infrared wave is gonna penetrate two to three inches into their person causing their brain to send up signals and the neurons to fire their pathways to go, chemicals to be released, saying go to those areas, give it attention, give it love, give it healing. So I’m talking about the chemistry and the science and I’m adding in the heart. And so I’m not sure how that happened when it happened and the question how it came but it piled together every connection. So I’m 18 years old, I’m describing this to somebody who’s an engineer in one of the most technological companies in the world. And he started crying. It was weird.
Yeah.
It was very strange.
And I think that’s why we see sometimes, those of us who kind of have gifted with merging these space and giving this stuff language. I mean, we do have the audacity to say it. You know and we struggle with I know because it’s like, wait, you’re saying it at 18. Who are you to advise this guy in these areas? But from our world, who are you not to? That was your information to deliver in that moment and I think that can be sometimes the most jarring of experiences for us, is how are you saying these things in these moments to these people which, by traditional societal standards, you really have no right to do? And yet by the space that I call the Abstract Frequency it would be irresponsible for you not to do it.
And that’s a big struggle I know in these spaces so kudos to you to have the cojones to speak up and to say this is the information, this is the truth, this is what’s coming through and however you receive that I think it’s important that we call that out because you could have easily given in to the voice that was saying, “Abort, abort, abort.” You know? Â “Stop, no, no, no.” And it takes a little bit of gumption, a little chutzpah to be able to do that.
Yeah, I mean, a lot of people probably would have said this is not my client.
Absolutely.
This is not the person and they would have missed on giving that person a gift and I know that in my life I have robbed people of a gift of receiving from me, for whatever reason, I’ve held back. I think people do that in general because of fear and every single time I’ve held back because of fear I’ve robbed somebody and myself of an experience, of a gift. So I try to do that as little as possible these days.
That’s such a beautiful way to describe it. I love that. Well, we’re gonna take a quick break. We’ve been talking with Ari Gronich today about how your body is a healer. Ari, where can people go to find out more about you?
