SuperPowers of the Soul host Jennifer Urezzio is joined by Mark Borax, the person behind the The Cosmic Weather Report. He wrote the bestseller, Crossing the Bridge to the Future. Mark created Soul Level Astrology which uses the birth chart as a window to the soul and has helped thousands of people find their soul purpose. Listen in as Jennifer and Mark talk about how astrology connects your past, present, and future.

Hello, I’m Jennifer Urezzio, Super Power Expert and founder of the Soul Language. And this is SuperPowers of the Soul. Today we’re talking with Mark Borax about What’s Astrology. I think we all know what astrology is, but I think we don’t really know what astrology is, Mark. I think we have the understanding, but we really don’t understand the depth of how it can support us and how it could support our lives. So we’re going to be talking with Mark about that today. But Mark, welcome. How are you today?

Doing fine. Nice to be here, Jennifer.

Yay. We always start with a series of questions, so we’re all on the same page. The first one is, what do you consider the superpower of your soul?

That the deepest challenges that we have in life will also present our greatest opportunity for awakening.

To communicate deep inner truths.

Nice. We also talk a lot about sacred purpose. And I think people have this misconception around sacred purpose. They think it’s about doing and it’s really about what you’re profoundly here to be and then offer that being state to others. With that definition in mind, what do you consider your sacred purpose?

To help people find who they are on the inside and live by that.

And so what has been a common theme that your soul has shared with you personally throughout your journey?

That the deepest challenges that we have in life will also present our greatest opportunity for awakening.

I agree. In hand analysis, they have your life purpose and your life lesson. They call it life lesson. I don’t like that term. I like skill builder and I think that so often, when we’re in a challenge, that’s just a signal that universe tree, Bob, God, cupcake, whatever you want to call that. You’re being asked to invite more of that source divinity within you. So we’re on the same page there. And tell us a little bit about your work and how it reflects your sacred purpose.

Well, I was trained in a mystery school in the Santa Cruz Mountains of California in the early 1990s. In order to use astrology on a soul level, rather than on a level of personality, which is the way that most people use astrology. And I wrote a book about that, it’s called 2012: Crossing the Bridge to the Future, was published 10 years ago. It became a best seller and it tells the story of a mystical memoir of my seven-year apprenticeship to a wild wizard in the mountains and his wife. Ever since then, I’ve been helping people all over the world by looking through their birth chart into their soul or their core nature.

And then how do you offer people the opportunity of, what do they do with that information? I think so often we have so many paradigms that provide us with the information and then occasionally leave people standing there with information and no internal action step. So once you’ve gone through this with them, how do you support them in taking that leap for expansion?

You become wealthy the moment you realize that you have so much more to give to this world than you’ll ever need to take from it.

Well, I give them a recording and the normal session is 80 minutes, though some people do three day long sessions. And even in the 80-minute session, there are so many levels, so many dimensions of what I’m discussing in order to help them activate their core nature, that many people spend the rest of their life listening to the recording or transcribing it to a written report and people also sometimes return to me for further work.

What has been your big theme of your human experience? I think some people go through the big theme of not enough or trust. What has been your big theme?

Is that becoming wealthy doesn’t have anything to do with the amount of money that you have. You become wealthy the moment you realize that you have so much more to give to this world than you’ll ever need to take from it.
