The Happy Confident Movement
Amorahki: Blessings, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of Superpowers of the Soul. This is Amorahki, and I am so happy to be here with you all today talking with our wonderful guest, Nadim Saad, about The Happy Confident Movement. Nadim is a father of three, bestselling author, parenting expert, and education thought leader. He is the founder and Chief Happiness Officer of The Happy Confident Company.
Nadim has worked with renowned therapists and teachers, drawing from the latest research in child psychology and neuroscience, to develop a program that’s already changed the lives of over 100,000 families. The Happy Confident Movement is a growing group of teachers, experts, schools, children, and organizations who all share the same vision: a world where every child knows, loves, and accepts themselves, fully. They know that their strengths are for sharing, and their weaknesses fantastic challenges to rise to with optimism.
Nadim is just an exceptional being. He is so heartfelt, brilliant at what he does, and I find his movement absolutely inspired. It fills me with such hope and joy. I suspect that you will find it much the same. I am so excited to have him on with us today, so let’s welcome him to the show. Nadim, it’s so good to have you here, welcome!
Nadim Saad: Amorahki, thank you so much for having me and thank you for your kind words. I’m hoping that we’re going to be able to give the audience a few good tips and ideas that they can take back home to really connect with, so thank you for that.
Amorahki: Yes, please! It’s what I love about you. It is ‘boots on the ground’ practical. What can we do right now, today, and you’re making this so accessible to all the places where it’s going to make such a difference. I’m truly fascinated by all you’re up to in the world, and I am so excited to delve into it all with you today.
Let me start us off by asking you our favorite opening question around here. What would you say are your superpowers of the soul, and how are you using them for good in your life right now?
Nadim Saad: Wow! I’m discovering that my compassion and my vulnerability are my superpowers the soul, and I was completely cut off from these for so many decades. And so just in the last few years I’ve been connecting with them and that’s what’s always infused a lot of what the program is about, helping children not let go of the superpowers that they all have.
We all have them. But it’s so easy to disconnect from them and one of the reasons, and we’ll talk about this in more detail, is the education system, which is based on becoming rather than on being. So, yes, that plus following my intuition and doing a lot more energy work recently. So, I’ve got that mixed intuition energy, along with my happiness and confidence. Actually, I must admit that when I created the company, I asked people around me ‘what do you think about “happy confident”, what does it make you think of? And people would say, ‘well, it makes me think about you’. I was like, okay, great. It’s a great name for a company. Fantastic!
Amorahki: You know, I especially love what you’re pointing to there, towards compassion, empathy, vulnerability, and all those intuitive gifts. How often do they get forgotten, suppressed, or dumbed down? How often do we get disconnected from them? I love so much about what you’re up to, but one of the things is that you’re really seeking to help prevent all of that! Oh my gosh, I could go so far, so fast with you right now, but we’ve got a short break coming up. So, I’m going to pause my excitement and we’re going to go ahead and take our short break now so we can just roll right into all the goodness of The Happy, Confident Movement when we get back and give away all those tools and tips that you’re so great at giving. Where is the best place for people to go connect with you, and find out more about all the goodness you’re up to in the world?
Nadim Saad: They can go to happyconfident.com All the resources are there.
Amorahki: Perfect. Okay, we’ll make sure that’s linked for you all in the show page, everyone, so you can please go there to look it up.
