I’m with Super Power Experts Executive Director Tonya Dawn Recla. How lucky am I? This is a woman who created a whole community of individuals wanting to access and utilize their superpowers of their soul to create amazing lives and businesses. She has put together a community of experts and a whole lot of tools to help people really access all the wisdom that they can and to receive from it. Welcome, Tonya.
Hello, hello. How are you?
I am really, really amazing. And I’m so excited because you created this huge vision which has kind of had all of these different branches of this giant tree. And so now I get to do this amazing broadcast effortlessly. So thank you.
Absolutely. My pleasure. It’s really exciting. I’m excited to introduce SuperPowers of the Soul to everyone.
Beautiful. So let’s just start with a little bit of background. So for those people that are totally new to everything that you’ve created around SuperPowers, can you briefly tell us a little bit of a background about who you are and what you created?
It was just really obvious that the synergy between the work that you’re doing in the world and the platform that we’ve created was undeniable.
Absolutely. So we started about two years ago with the actual structure and the podcast started, so SuperPower Up podcast started almost exactly two years ago now. And we … The goal of all of this was to create this collaborative market space that brought everyone into the same conversation. And so on my show specifically, I interview everyone from entrepreneurs, CEOs of multi-million dollar businesses, to energy healers, to medicine men, like it just doesn’t matter. The point is that anybody who’s willing to come into the dialogue of … You know, who’s committed to change, committed to evolution and really kind of having a positive impact on the world. And we do that through a number of means. So we have coaching programs, we have training programs, we do the Super Power Net, which you talked about a little bit. That’s our membership-based program where we’re bringing everybody into the dialogue to support each other and work in collaboration. So that piece of it’s really exciting. And, you know, you found us through the podcast. And we had a lot of, a couple really phenomenal conversations. And then, you know, the rest was history. It was just really obvious that the synergy between the work that you’re doing in the world and the platform that we’ve created was undeniable. And so I love how those relationships grow out of that space.
Amazing. I have so many groovy questions for you. And the first one, of course, is what do you feel the superpower of your soul is?
Such a beautiful question. And I love that the twist on it … Because in the superpower conservation, that I think sometimes we forget about the sole piece and the more of us who are vocal about that I think is important. And that leads to the answer to your question which is I, you know, at the end of the day, ultimately, my job if you will, the mantle that I’ve taken on here, is to help people get in touch with that highest vibration aspect of themselves, that soul essence. And holding them accountable for it. And I’m very open with people and very clear anymore to let them know that that’s not for the faint of heart. You know, sometimes I think we categorize faith and soul and spirit into this kind of woo-woo, surrender, passive space and it’s, you know, it’s hilarious-
La, la, la, teddy bears, and salads and cars.
Yeah. Like my favorite question is when people are like, “Well, but I’m very religious and so what do you do, you know … How does what you do fit into that?” And I just laugh, I’m like, “You know, to me this is the ultimate walk of faith.” And like you said, it’s not rainbows and unicorns, it is an active, involved, gut-wrenching, at times, a journey of absolute surrender and absolute self-dominion, simultaneously.
I love that-
And that’s the path I help people walk.
So it also sounds like not only did you just tell us the superpower of your soul, but you also told us your sacred purpose. And I think so often, and we’ve talked about this before, but so often people, you know, confuse their sacred purpose with their delivery system, right. Like, “Okay, I’m an author, I’m a healer, I’m a teacher,” right. But those are all delivery systems. Like my sacred purpose is to alleviate suffering through connection, you know?
Mmm, beautiful.
And don’t think that everyone just … That one-liner came overnight, it took years to really kind of solidify it. What would you consider, you know, your true sacred purpose that you would be doing as a bartender? Just sucky delivery system, by the way.
You allow people to encapsulate the unencapsulateable.
Mm-hmm. Well, my belief is that a lot of our sacred purposes all kind of tie together. And this is why I really love the work that you do because, like you said, that’s not an overnight discovery about one’s self. We’re talking about why are you here, like the purpose of life. Like these are big, big questions. And you were such a welcome addition to that conversation because you allow people to kind of encapsulate the unencapsulateable into some sort of a construct that they can wrap their minds around. And for me, you know, at the end of the day, you and I have talked about this many times and you’ve given me such great language around teacher of integrity and all of these components that go into my soul’s journey, that helped me really solidify walking that path. And in the simplest way, I can explain it is that I’m here to love people and encourage them to love themselves and others through that connection with the divine. It doesn’t naturally flow into the superpower dialogue but to me, it makes perfect sense in how it all came together.
I love that. So what is one of the big common themes across your lifetime? You know, so often when people talk about their soul they go, “But, I’ve heard that before.” And I’m like, “You know, then maybe you should start to listen to it.” And I think that part of walking the journey, I think so many people try to eradicate that fear and eradicate their limiting beliefs. And I go, “Okay, but those are there just to allow you to see where you feel separate and turn into something bigger.” What has been one of the main themes your soul has shared with you?
That’s awesome and I was just writing about this the other day in my book. It was about the … It all centers around … Like it started off as personal power, that conversation, and of course, it’s evolved into SuperPower and then … But ultimately it’s the real self-dominion space. And that circles around freedom, everything else. So as a child, I can go back and look at all the themes of just not wanting to follow anybody else’s rules and really fight for that kind of freedom aspect, like wanting to be able to do things my way and questioning why I couldn’t. And so all of that led to this idea that I think that we’re all ultimately seeking the freedom to be fully who we are. And that first takes figuring that out, obviously, but also being willing to take a hard look at anywhere where you are abdicating your power to anything. And, you know, for me I had a couple rape scenarios this lifetime that it was clear I agreed to transmute some of that energy. And it forced me … It didn’t force me, it invited me to, because I didn’t have to choose to take a hard look at it, but I did and was able to see the connection between me not showing up fully in my existence and creating scenarios that were less than ideal for my physical body or my emotional body.
I think so-
And once I made that connection …
Yeah.
I interrupted you. What was that?
I think so many people do that.
Mm-hmm.
Yeah.
I think it’s just probably in our collective consciousness. Like we’re programmed that way. I mean it’s all of it and … But we don’t have to, and I think that’s a big part of my message is just to be able to say, “You can do this differently.” And look, I’m living, walking, talking, breathing proof of that. I don’t just say pretty words, you know?
So, you know, so often people who are conscious and who wanna connect to their soul are individuals who are a big service. So how does your soul support others?
The soul drove me to create something like Super Power Experts where we really do offer playgrounds for people to do this.
Oh, perfect. Not just my soul. The soul drove me to create something like Super Power Experts where we really do offer playgrounds for people to do this. I saw a huge issue with people who are awakening to this big work, this service that you’re speaking of. And the challenge is is that we don’t have a lot of delivery systems here to do that in a way that really matches up. And so a lot of people realize like they perhaps can’t stay in their job and do that or they could, but again, sucky delivery system.
And a lot of folks really aren’t interested in becoming business experts. And so once they get up the courage to even venture into space and saying, “Okay, I’m a healer, or I’m a lightworker, I’m a change agent. I’m gonna touch people’s lives in this way.” But then quickly they have to realize that it’s not as easy as it sounds. Like you have to have a whole mechanism behind you to support that. And they get frustrated, or they end up spending all their time mastering business when they could be doing their big work in the world. And I saw a real lack of environments that gave people the flexibility to do that. And so I saw us really filling that gap. And providing for that niche and the goal is to create playgrounds where people can, if they choose to run their own business doing this kind of work, that they get the actual practical skillsets they need to do that, or that we can provide a framework that they can operate within that’s not a job but it’s also not you’re out there on your own trying to crack this code.
To add to that it’s like we’re not at a loss of people who’ve woken up now. Like there’s a number of people who are coming out of the woodwork as healers, change agents, coaches, consultants, and that kind of thing. And part of it, at the end of the day we’re going to have to take a hard look and say, “Why would we all need a website and why are we all competing for the same audience?” When if there was a central mechanism that could kind of gather the people who are truly interested, then they can resonate with … Or they can, you know, kind of gravitate toward the people that they resonate with the most, but it’s all under this really trusted brand that says, “Look, here are some resources for you.” And that was the vision. And so my soul led me to kind of build it if you will.
