She also discusses how knowing you are powerful can support your vision moving from intangible to tangible. Listen now to accept your power and be confident in your vision and that will lead to you experiencing your dreams.

Welcome everyone! This is Jennifer Urezzio and I’m a Super Power Expert and founder of Soul Language and this is SuperPowers of the Soul. And, today I’m with Oge Okosieme. Which I’m sorry, I think I just butchered her beautiful last name. We are going to be talking about how to have confidence in your vision. Welcome, Oge!

Hey! Thank you so much Jennifer for having me. So the pronunciation is O-kos-iem-e. So, Oge Okosieme. But thank you so much for having me.

Yay! Thanks for the pronunciation! It’s not one of my great gifts to pronounce things but I have so many others so I can deal with that with myself. So I’m really excited for people to get to know you today. And I always like asking my guests, what do they consider the superpower of their soul or themselves?

So, let me get that question clear, Jennifer. The question is, what is my soul super power?

Yeah, exactly. For you, not for others, but I mean, of course, what you for others, but I want people to get to know your soul versus how your soul supports everyone else.

Yes, yes, yes. Wow. That’s a beautiful question. Thank you very much. I love that and I don’t know if you can hear me smiling.

I can!

My soul super power for myself is in terms of pushing boundaries. That’s my soul’s overall super power is this soul that is Oge because I actually consider myself and my soul one. I don’t necessarily see the division but this soul called Oge, it’s super power is really being able to explore frontiers and push boundaries.

I love that, from one Renegade to another. Of course that resonates with me. We all have this sacred purpose, this profound way of being in a world that allows us to kind of express our soul. What do you consider your sacred purpose?

Again, that’s a beautiful question. So thank you. And for me, my purpose is kind of two fold. It’s like a purpose within a purpose. So the overall purpose for me, if you like, is just to experience life. Yeah, that’s it. It’s really that simple is to have my fullest experience of this life in all its nuances. Now within that, I can choose how I experience life. One of the themes that I’ve chosen, or one of the lenses, Jennifer, that I’ve chosen to experience my life is through the lens of powerful and powerless, powerful and powerless. And throughout my life I’ve explored life through those two lenses. So when I pull it all together, my purpose has been to explore what it is to be powerful, what it is to be powerless, and then to distill that knowledge and that wisdom and help other people around me become the most powerful beings that they can.

Beautiful.

It’s not even becoming a powerful being. It’s more an awareness that you are a powerful being.

And you took the words right out of my mouth, right? I think there’s this nomenclature in spirituality about having your power taken away, giving your power away. You can’t do that, right? It’s not a commodity that you can exchange. It’s how you’re focusing it, how you’re utilizing it, and your belief system that allows access or not. So along those themes of power and powerlessness, what has your soul shared with you within those big themes? What are some of the occurring themes that have happened along your journey?

Well, it’s like I said, it’s within that theme. So the recurring theme is usually finding myself, Jennifer, in a place where, in my perception anyway, I feel a huge sense of powerless, a huge sense of victim that’s attached to the powerless. And then through my own challenges and through my own learnings and through my own explorations, I find a way to get myself out of those situations and then boom, I become aware of the power that is innate within me.

So those have generally been my theme throughout my life. It’s like when I started my business for example. We don’t have business people in our family. So my family comes from a more educational background. My family gets PhDs and masters and all that intellectual stuff. We don’t do business. So when I decided to start running my own business, that was such a steep learning curve. And within that steep learning curve, there were moments and moments and moments of powerlessness of feeling like really powerless, like when the money wasn’t coming in or when the clients were not coming in or when things were not working. So working my business has been a huge lesson, a huge awareness in that journey for me of powerless, going from powerless to powerful. I’m recognizing that things like clients, money, marketing, all that thing comes from embracing your power from within to start off with.

So I’m going to repeat that because I want everyone to really get that. So searching for the right word which people are always trying to do in marketing. Clients and all of that, it’s not external. It comes from accessing that power within and things actually will flow in a much bigger and much more powerful way for an individual, which means you’ll receive more.
