Hello, everyone. Welcome to the Superpower Mommas Show. I’m your host Tatiana Berindei, and I’ve got Neva back with me. We’ve got another Kid’s Talk series for you all.
I’m really excited for this conversation today, guys, because we are going to be talking about your children’s relationship with the divine and who better to guide us through that conversation than Ms. Neva Lee Recla? If you do not know Neva Lee Recla yet, you got to go back and listen to all of our other kids’ top conversations because we’ve been laying a foundation for you all, and Neva is fabulous and incredible and so articulate. I feel so blessed, and it’s such a gift to have her on the show to be a voice for their childhood years, but that is coming from such a wise and articulate place.
So, yay, Neva. I love you. Thank you for joining me in this space and for wanting to talk about such deep and important things.

I’m really excited to talk. I do, too. I’m so excited to talk about this specifically because I think it’s something that people don’t necessarily think about a whole lot because I know kids that go to church and celebrate other religions and stuff, but how do you bridge the gap between what, I guess, parents or guardians think that the child’s relationship should be versus how the child wants to connect with the divine?
Tatiana Berindei:
Yeah, that’s a big, big conversation. Neva is not afraid of big conversations, and so she and I are in love together in that space because we are going to dive right in here today.
I don’t want to cut us off because I know once we get going, we get going. So I’m actually going to bring us into the break pretty quickly here so that we can just dive in and just really dig our teeth into this very rich, very challenging, really, conversation about how we cultivate our children’s relationship with the divine.
Well, I say challenging, but it really doesn’t have to be, and yet I think there’s, yeah, there are ways to do it. I’m still fumbling my way through that process and sometimes succeeding and sometimes not. So I’m very, very much looking forward to hearing your perspective and even what your path has been and how your parents have walked you through this and what you’re seeing with other kids. So we are going to go to break.
