Hi, kids. This is your Super Power kid, Neva Lee Recla and today, we have on our show two very special guests, Hannah Jade Lukas and her father, Dave Lukas. Dave is the founder of Misfit Entrepreneurs and that is a podcast. Hannah is also the runner. She does the podcast, Misfit Kids, so without further ado, will you help me welcome our very special guests, Hannah and Dave?

Hi.

Hi.

Welcome to the show.

Thank you.

Thank you for coming on.

It’s our pleasure. We’re excited to be here with you and all of your audience.

Thank you.

Dave and I met at the New Media Summit and that was a blast, so Steve Olsher and Kelly Poelker’s New Media Summit, so what are your guys’ superpowers?

What’s your superpower?

Hanna Tough.

You’re Hanna Tough?

Yeah.

Hannah’s got her own superpower that she calls Hannah Tough.

I like that.

Then, my superpower is that I have a really unique ability to take complex things and make them easy for people to understand.

I like that. I like that. All right, so I thought that since we are all superheroes, that we could do a superhero pose.

You want to do superhero pose?

Yeah.

Do it.

What do you do in the world?

What do we do in the world?

Yeah.

I’ll start with that. There are a lot of things in the world. I am an entrepreneur so I have different businesses that I have been actually working over 100 countries with those businesses.

Wow.

Then, with the Misfit Entrepreneur podcast, it’s really exciting. I get to talk to other unique entrepreneurs that are very successful. I get to share their stories and their best wisdom and advice with the rest of the world to help them be more successful and improve their lives. There’s a lot that we get to do in the world. Now, Hannah, what do you get to do in the world? What do you like to do?

Go on a trip.

All right, you go on trips. What else do you do?

Go to school.

You go to school. Yeah.

Karate.

Yeah. Hannah’s really accomplished in karate, so …

Well, that’s cool. I do MMA.

She does MMA. Cool.

What is your favorite thing to do?

What’s your favorite thing to do?

Go on a walk.

Go on a walk. What else do you like to do? I know there’s one thing that Hannah really, really likes at least right now.

Puzzles.

Yeah, puzzles? She’s really good at puzzles. Maybe that’s another superpower that she has because you can give her any puzzle and she’ll have it done like in 20 minutes.

That’s cool. All right, if you could change anything about the world, what would it be?

I’ll take this one first. I don’t know if I’ll change anything about the world that we get to experience ourselves. We’re very fortunate where we are and the country we live in and everything else. There are evils in this world that … There are lots of different ones all throughout the world in different areas and I would just say that if there is a way to right any of those, I would do everything I could to help that. I try to do that now through different endeavors that we have and different things we bring awareness to, so there’s a lot of things that we all can say we change about the world but at the same time, there’s amazing things we get to experience in the world. How about you? Would you change anything about the world?

No.

No.

All right. What advice do you have for kids or adults to help them with their superpowers?

Do you have any advice to help someone with their superpowers? Get a cake, right?

Yeah.

I like that. I like that.

What’s your advice?

To get a cake.

Okay. My advice is that your biggest challenges exist between your ears, so your mind and the way you think determines a lot of the results in what you get in your life and everything. The more you can work on your inner game, the better your outer game will be.

I like that. Actually, since I’m writing a book, one of the things I’m putting in it is your weird is my normal like weird is my normal. It’s like what people might see as weird is my normal.

We’re all totally weird.

Yeah.

There’s a reason I named my show Misfit Entrepreneur is because we’re all misfits in some way, shape or form and so we all have our uniqueness about us and I think weird is not the right word for it. I think it’s uniqueness because everybody is unique and that’s what makes us all special and allows us to be able to do the things we do and have the impact on the world that we get to have, right?

Yeah.

Are you weird or special?

Special.

Special. All right. Where can people go to find out more about you?

The best place to go is to go to the Misfit Entrepreneur site, so misfitentrepreneur.com and you can find stuff about each of us there.

All right, thank you.

Yeah.

Now, it’s time for the break, so we’ve been talking with Dave and Hannah Jade Lukas about weird kid entrepreneurs, so we’ll be right back.
