Hi kids! This is your Super Power Kid Neva Lee Recla. Today we have on our show a very special guest, Nikki Golly.

Today we’ll be talking with her about setting goals and that’s what she’s all about. She’s the creator of Feel Your Body, which is a coaching program to help people reach their health goals.

Without further ado, will you help me welcome our guest, Nikki Golly. Hi Nikki.

Hello. Thank you for having me on your show. I’m super excited to talk with you.

Thank you for coming on. I’m super excited to talk with you.

What are your superpowers?

What are my superpowers? My superpowers are connecting with people and help them to become the healthiest and happiest version of themselves. Because you can be healthy but not happy. So I really focus on both. It’s really important.

I like that. You are a superhero. I’m a superhero. Would you like to do a superhero pose?

A superhero pose? Yes. I would love to do a superhero pose. I have props. Three, two, one.

My superhero, part of my superhero costume is a cheese hat, if you can see it. It is one of my real life superheroes and one of my inspirations as a nutritionist. His name is Stephen Ritz. He actually has educated so many kids just like yourself, about growing plants and where our food actually comes from. He’s using a machine called the Tower Garden.

It’s so cool. I wanted to show you. I might actually be able to show you. I have one growing behind me. I was trying to get it behind me but it was too bright outside. It’s our beautiful Arizona weather. It was too bright.

Yeah. It’s really bright out here and hot.

Yeah. Right, yeah. So I’m super excited about it but he’s one of my real life superheroes because he’s completely changed. He was in the South Bronx and he completely changed a lot of the school and the graduation rate because he used this growing machine and taught kids about food. That’s what I’d love to do it educate people about food and where our food comes from and how amazing plants are.

I just wish ours-

Right?

Yeah.

You are all about setting goals. What are some of yours?

What are some of my goals? Specifically, for 2018, I’m actually working on a Kickstarter program to educate and inspire a thousand people to become the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves in 2018.

That’s awesome.

That’s a big goal of mine. And what’re your goals this year?

I actually want to inspire one million kids to do business and because I spoke in front of two thousand people, maybe a month ago now.

Wow!

Yeah. I also want to make a million dollars and buy a pot belly pig and name him Hamlet Cheecharonas Recla.

What? Hamlet what?

Cheecharonas Recla.

Cheecharonas Recla. Wonderful. Beautiful. That’s a good goal. Make a million dollars. DO you have a date that you’re going to make a million dollars by?

Not really. I want to do it at the end of 2018.

At 2018. That’s an amazing goal. Great.

And 10 million kids?

No, just one.

Just one million. Oh, okay.

So one million to start, then 10 million?

Yep.

Okay. All right.

That’s exciting.

Thank you. Do you have any other questions for me, because I’d love to ask my guests if they have questions.

Yeah. What is your biggest inspiration when it comes to food or anything like that? Since that’s my passion is food, have you tried any new things lately, or new fruits or anything like that?

I know for sure that my parents, they told me to listen to my body and listen like if I’m eating ice cream at night, to listen and make sure that I don’t get a stomach ache or something like that.

Okay. Okay. Do you have a favorite fruit?

Huh. I like mangoes, coconuts, what else? Hmm. Also, I like dragon fruit.

Dragon fruit. Dragon fruit’s really good. You know one of my favorites? Have you ever had jackfruit? It’s a huge thing and you actually have to cut it up, but they have little melons. Or have you ever had Juicy Fruit gum?

No.

No? Well the Juicy Fruit gum, the flavor of Juicy Fruit gum came from dragon fruit. Not dragon fruit, sorry, jackfruit. Jackfruit. It’s the same flavor and it’s so good. It’s one of my absolute favorites.

That’s awesome.

Yeah.

I love fruit.

Good. What about veggies? Have you ever grown any veggies?

No. I made this little prairie garden once and it had lemongrass. Any day I was waiting for guests to come over, it was at our front window. Any day I was waiting for a guest to come over I’d sit at the window and pick out the lemongrass.

If I was hungry I would just walk over, pick two pieces out and walk back and go do whatever I was going to do.

Nice! Nice. Do you want to see a Tower Garden? I’m going to take my computer over and show you one of the things that I inspire with my clients. It’s so cool. Let’s see.

Put this up here. See this. Kind of bright. There’s actually three of them out there. There are all kinds of food growing like Swiss chard, and basil, and mint, and … It’s so cool. I love it. Growing food because I’ve researched and learned that kids that grow food, and you get to play with food and see how they grow and mature and all that. You actually eat a lot more of those vegetables.

I love vegetables.

Really?

Yep.

That’s why you have amazing superpowers, I think.

Yep.

Perfect.

What advice do you have for kids on how they can meet their goals? Do anything that they want to do?

Really, we live in the information age. I mean so much you can find online, but I’d say the biggest thing is first to fuel yourself with good foods. Fuel yourself and that’s the whole premise behind my company is to help fuel your body. But fuel yourself and then just go for it. Do it, just like you. You’re actually interviewing people. You’re getting out there. You’re doing amazing things. That just do it or ask people if you’re not sure exactly how to do it, ask people. Ask your parents. Ask friends. Ask loved ones that want to help you succeed, because if you have an idea in your head, you can make it happen.

I’m sure your mom tells you that kind of things. “You can make it happen.”

Yep. Where can people go to find out more about you?

People can go to my website. I have a website. It’s the number two, also like the peace sign. The number two fuelyourbody.com. Yes. The number 2fuelyourbody.com.

I also have a … They can contact me through my phone number, which is 928-421-1246. That’s an easy way to do it, too.

We have to take a quick break, but we’ve been talking with Nikki Golly about setting goals. We’ll be right back.
