Energetic Communication and Sensitization
How can humanity use energetic communication and sensitization training to prepare us for whatever comes next? On this episode of The Science of Superpowers, Tonya Dawn Recla shares basic energetic communication concepts and explains the importance of the sensitization component. By integrating both constructs, we’re able to learn how to align our communication at all levels and energetically express congruently. This opens us to awareness of how to activate and utilize our creative energy field and, ultimately, use our superpowers to change the world. Tap into these powerful episodes guaranteed to inspire a different perspective into a very different world.
Tonya Dawn Recla:
Hello, everyone, and welcome back to The Science of Superpowers. I’m Tonya Dawn Recla. Today we’re talking all about energetic communication and sensitization. If you’ve read our co-creative initiative, you know that we feel really strongly about the power of creative ability, creative principles, and co-creative spaces. And what we learn within them about ourselves and each other prepares us to train to provide sort of the environments that we need in order to come up with some really creative solutions for how we want things to look moving forward. I don’t think it’s a shock to anybody that we’ve got some issues that we need to address as humanity, right as nations, as communities, as families, and our relationships. And within ourselves, this is across the board, right? This sort of got awakened, shook up, if you will, during the whole COVID pandemic. Many of us have been aware of this for a very long time, some of us are just now coming into awareness about it, and some aren’t in awareness about it, right?
So we’ve got people developing at all different stages here. And that’s really what lies at the heart of this energetic communication and sensitization concept that we’re talking about. Got its roots in actually, consciously, you know, where I started working with it formally, was in my studies of intercultural communication in college, in that in that process, I got to develop very rapidly through my own racial identity, and utilize some of those developmental tools, which are incredibly helpful.
I studied it very deeply because I was teaching it but I was also using it as as a is a framework for bigger evolution, right, bigger development within myself, understanding myself, and that’s where I learned to start, how to use a single developmental lens to sort of extrapolate out or find transferable skills, to be able to develop other aspects of my identity simultaneously. carry that forward, you know, into my graduate program. And actually, prior to that teaching staff and faculty at ASU at a university level, how to work with some of these components in the classroom, then add on to that the experience of teaching critical race theory in graduate school, which was very fascinating.
Anytime we teach deconstruction theory, anytime we were willing to sort of play with deconstructionism is a really powerful tool to understand how some of our programs came to be and to really take a hard look at a critical lens, if you will, at the results of that really important, right, every good scientist knows, we got to be willing to manage an audit and watch the experiment. And if it goes off the rails, we need to be able to find out how, how to avoid that in the future. And so the deconstruction lens was really valuable for many reasons, but still wasn’t a full solution, right? So you’ve got the developmental model of how we develop, right? And then the deconstruction lens of like, okay, what happens if we bring people who aren’t fully developed right now and aren’t wholly actualized, if you will, into environments and have them create things like communities and countries and all kinds of policies, from a place that’s outside of their own wholeness, right? So from fractured aspects of themselves, the results are sort of what we’re seeing now, right? Which are, that’s to be expected, right? What we’re developing, we’re learning as a humanity. And so we can give ourselves some grace with that. And as soon as we start to see those imbalances, we need to invoke some of these tools that we have to be able to work with it so that we can get this thing back on track. And so adding in that deconstruction lens was really helpful going into the counterintelligence, space, and understanding deception, right? How we deceive ourselves, how we deceive others at a very, very fundamental level.
And then from their teaching, the components of all of this there really exist at an energetic level, because of what we discovered, right? And we being my husband Justin and I we’ve cultivated this work over the last 15 years together, what we’ve discovered is that we know that it’s not just the words that we use, we’re not just communicating with our words, we’re not just communicating with our bodies, right? We teach this stuff, but we also know something else is going on, and then enter through the intercultural lens, you learn, like our words don’t mean the same thing. Our emotional cues don’t mean the same thing in different cultural contexts, and our physical cues don’t mean the same thing in different physical or different cultural contexts. And so that becomes a barrier of communication when we’re talking about our global community or even humanity that’s represented by a global community, right? Which we are at this point. And so how do we kind of move beyond this add-on top of this?
The knowledge gained in the counterintelligence arena, in the understanding that while we’re able to do learn a lot about these levels of communication. We learned this through the polygraph machine, right? Lie detection is popularized by the original disc kind of theory concept and a deep understanding of how we work at a systemic level. Really brilliant design brilliant concept and it falls short break. And we know it falls short because we know that people have beaten it repeatedly. Right? That’s what we learn about when you run around chasing spies, you learned that spies can beat the polygraph machine, right? There are ways to do it well, how, right? What’s happening? And what’s happening in those spaces? And is there anything we can do when it comes to how we deceive ourselves and how we deceive each other?
You know, other than just dealing with kind of crummy programming. When you go into the consciousness space, the personal development space, a big conversation there is that there’s not much we can do with these subconscious programs, right? These are the things that operate under the surface. That conversation did not sit well with me because we’re taught in the counter-Intel realm that while the individual may not know what’s going on within we’re trained to see it. So essentially, we know more about that individual at an energetic level than they know about themselves. Well, if one can be trained to see it in someone else, it stands to reason that one could be able to be trained to see it in themselves. And for sure, that’s the case. And we’ve had success with that. And it’s by the practice of observation, right, and triangulation, but it can be done and when it can be done. And you can develop your own processes with that, which puts you back in management of self. Even bigger than that, during this whole process, we found out that, you know, what we experience is 100% dependent upon what we express. Right, we will not experience something from the world around us or others in it, or even from ourselves if we’re not expecting it, thus part of that expression.
And so when you start talking about energetic communication and understanding that we communicate on a mental level, emotional level, physical level, and a vibrational level simultaneously, and when those aren’t lined up, we’re essentially sending out differing requests, right? We’re messing with the spell. Because one saying I want this one saying I want this one saying I want this one saying I want this. So it’s confusing, right? It’s confusing for the receiver. Right? This is why communication gets more challenging. So the receivers have picked up all of these different signals and interpreting right is having to use their own creative energy to interpret how are going to respond not only that, but a lot of us aren’t in awareness of it. So we have programs that are actually firing off at all these different levels here to respond to this program, and they may not be the same program.
Right. So now we can start to understand like, well, what’s happening in here when we aren’t congruent? When we don’t even understand that we’re emitting information at an energetic level that a lot of times is contradicting what we’re saying? Or how we’re feeling, right? Or how we’re saying we’re feeling or what we’re doing with our bodies at that moment.
This is all well and good, right? This is the developmental journey, learning how to harmonize this within ourselves is the developmental process and the material reality, right? The time-space continuum gives us the opportunity to learn this stuff. And here’s why it’s important that we learn this stuff. Because you can’t go on from this place without it, right? There’s no future advanced, like courses type of thing. While you’re here unless you can see beyond the levels at which you’ve seen before. And we kind of know this, right? We kind of hit we survived to check. We hit success, like check whatever that looks like in your world. And then it’s kind of like, what now? Right? What do we do? Like, what happens next? Are we done? Like, is there is there more coming like and that creates a lot of his angst, like we don’t know what to do with this expression of our creativity, because we kind of checked all the boxes that we were told about right? Survive get to adulthood, maybe have kids whatever it is in your cultural framework, in your experience in your reality, we kind of checked those boxes, well, what do you do then?
More and more of the same, right? It gets boring. And then we see how we are these ever-evolving, expressive expressions of creative intelligence. We want to keep evolving. But what happens when our spaces in our structures don’t allow for that or our relationships don’t allow for them? Or we start getting feisty frictions to occur, right, or discomforts in the body, right? Power problems occur physically problems happen in our relationships in our homes. Problems happen in our workplace, right? That is just that static just kind of keeps going and it collects, right? It’s contagious. We get on social media.
There’s no makeup, I can pick up a car, right? Then it just gathers, we just gather it. And we find others like that we can make a cup of or do whatever together. And we’re just miserable. And we’re just creating more miserable illnesses, right? Because at some point, we’ve got to move into this space of like, what do we want next? And choose to express ourselves in a fashion that has a chance of getting us there. Because they say, we want the world to change. We want this and that. What are you doing about it? Are you behaving differently than you did before that got you this result? Because if not, it will probably result in the same thing. Right. And that’s a confusing way for us to see this. And it speaks to why it’s so incredibly important that we understand this congruency piece, right? Because essentially, if we’re not clear on what our motivations are, why are we here? Who do we believe ourselves to be? And why are we here? Then we will hit a place of just boredom, right of our own confusion of like, I don’t know, you know, I’m just running around in circles at this point. Right? I’m entertaining myself with whatever. I don’t know, Amazon Prime, happy hour, doesn’t matter. I’m entertaining myself somehow, right? Hanging out with kids hanging out with Greg, because whatever it is that we do.
But wondering, Isn’t there something I’m supposed to be doing something more? Yes, you can do lots more here. There are lots of advanced courses if you’re willing to take a look at how you’re being who you’re being and continue. And if you’re willing to continue growing. And this is where we get to learn how to do that. And it starts with aligning that communication. Like, Tonya, that’s not fun. I want to wave a magic wand, I want to, you know, like a toad or go on a journey or do something. We use all these techniques. And we bastardize these tremendous traditions, in a quest to find ourselves rather than just pause and get still within ourselves. And to turn around and look at ourselves. And to see where what we’re saying verbally isn’t matching up with the emotional cues, we’re firing out, not really matching up with our baseline motivation which for most of us right now is some level of fear, uncertainty, chaos.
And so that’s where we get to start. And we get to say okay, what’s happening at an energetic level here, because without addressing that, we’re running all of these programs, essentially, we’re all doing running on our survival programs. And that’s because those survival programs are defending ourselves at all costs, right? Against all enemies, foreign and domestic anything outside of yourself or anything inside of yourself. That seems to be an opposition to whatever viewpoint you happen to be holding urine friction, these constant states of friction.
And when we take a pause and use things like the processes we know about here in our space, we use the CEFA process for our sensitization of the creative energy field activation, because it works every time. And we pause and remember. “Wait, we’ve got this like elevator essentially of options, mental, emotional, physical, vibrational, where do we want to be? And what programs do we want to be running?”
Because at some point, in our maturation process, no matter how old we get, and how much adulting we’ve done, we get to hit a point where we choose whether to continue to see the world from a lens that says, My life is this way I am this way, because these things happened. We will get to set that down and pick up one that says I’m going to choose to be this way. So these things can happen. And if we don’t have the motivation right now to do that, we can turn around and look at our younger generations.
Because I’ve heard many of us kind of throw our hands up and be like, well, good luck to him. Hope they can fix it. We can’t do better. We could try to help while we’re here. Right? Like Neva kind of laughs about she’s like, there’s kind of my friends are kind of like, yeah, maybe with the old people die off. We can change some things around here. Is that what we want to be remembered for? The dead weight.
That’s sort of how we view it. And it’s like, if we’re not willing to evolve and acknowledge I might be a different person today than I was yesterday. I may get to know myself in ways that I didn’t even know were possible. And what we’re talking about here is the bill.
Need to discern communication that’s happening, whether you want to admit it or not, we all can see it, you just don’t know. You’re just not aware of the signals you’re emitting right? When we refuse to take a look at it, that’s the result. That’s kind of a weird thing to think about, I might be actually communicating my fears and those not-so-pleasant thoughts I thought I was hiding.
There’s a reason it’s called Super Power Experts. We have superpowers, we have people who have the ability to read minds, and paths, who can feel what you’re feeling right there, across the board, all kinds of people are reporting amazing things. And these things are being proven in laboratories. Right? This is not new. These are not new cultures that have been holding this information forever.
