Welcome to the show, Larry.

Hello, Tatiana. I’m so excited to be here.

I’m so excited to have you. Before we dive into this juicy, juicy topic, will you please tell our listeners what your super powers are?

Well, my girlfriend says my super power is that I’m a great lover and a great listener. I thank her for that, and I think my super power, though, is that I’m a magician.

Say more.

Well, literally I’m a magician. I used to do children’s birthday shows and train with magicians. I know how to do all the secret trapdoors and the hidden threads, and all that. I know the behind-the-scenes work. Sometimes, I’ll see a psychic performer, and say, you know what, there’s some trickery involved. On the other hand, I’ve seen some real magic out there. There was one point I was going to do a documentary and travel the world documenting what I thought were real magic and real magical experiences.

I’m coming from a place where I know the tricks and I believe in real magic, and I see it in my coaching and in the transformation that I’ve had for myself and what I bring to others.

Will you give us an example of the real magic you’re talking about? Because I totally agree with you. I am not a magician myself with the fancy tricks. My husband does that more than I do. I’ve definitely seen some real magic. I’m curious what you’re referring to.

There were so many stories but it's almost like coincidences that will happen

There were so many stories but it’s almost like coincidences that will happen.

You know what, there were so many stories but it’s almost like coincidences that will happen. I wasn’t prepared to tell a story, but, for example, once I helped somebody in the airport with their suitcases. All my plans fell through. I had no place to stay, and a car pulls up and it turns out it was that woman. I helped her and she provided me a home and a place to stay when I was in a country where I knew nobody. That would just be one example, where I sort of surrender and I have no idea what’s going to happen or how it’s going to happen. I give myself up to whatever might happen. All of a sudden, something that would be described as a miracle.

Even being stuck. Once I was stuck in the desert. Our car got stuck in Baja, California. There was absolutely no way to get out of this. It was really a scary situation. Somebody appeared out of nowhere who lived there. I don’t know how they could possibly live in the desert and helped me get my car out. Just hundreds of examples.

I love that. I’ve lived those too. It’s fun. That’s when life gets really fun.

Also, just seeing healers and shamanic experiences that I would love to. I go and Google the science behind it, and it’s really just a miraculous experience that I went through or that I witnessed.

There are whole worlds that we don’t even know about until we start to open our eyes in a new way. I think that’s absolutely true in the realm of relationships too. We’re talking about sex advice for men in a relationship today. There was something that you said about completely surrendering. You didn’t say exactly these words, but something along the lines of releasing expectation and just letting whatever happens happens. I think that’s absolutely true in terms of a key for being a good lover, wouldn’t you agree?

Totally. Again, I mean just to piggyback on the idea of the magic, I did have a shamanic experience when I was with my lover, and the words “love even more” came up. I now have that tattooed on my leg with this symbol. When things go wrong and where things seem tricky, or sticky, or problems come up, I bring up that phrase, and it’s almost like a light shines. I lean even more. I lean even more to what’s uncomfortable. I just always remember that. It’s actually “love even more.”

That came out of a magical experience, and it has to do with surrendering, surrendering to the relationship. Right now, I’m proud to say I’m in a really magical relationship.

I love that because I think it’s so true. When things get sticky, when things get hard, our tendency and our natural go-to is to close off, and to defend, or to separate. I just love that you have this reminder to do the opposite, to lean in.

Yes, lean in, love even more. Even as I can feel a vibration in my body as I say those words, of memories. I’m going to stop here because I’m just feeling it. Yes, love even more.

Yeah. Beautiful. I want to dive in with you, and I want to make sure that I don’t cut us off once we’re in the middle of something really juicy. I’m going to go to a break now before we dive into some real hot tips. Before we go to break, will you tell our audience where they can go to find out more about you and your work?

Yeah. I have a website. It’s called Embody Awakening. It’s a little tricky to spell. It’s embody-awakening.com.

Beautiful. We’re talking today with Larry Fredrick, and he’s going to give us some awesome sex advice for men in a relationship when we get back. Stay tuned. You don’t want to miss this one.
