Hello everyone. And welcome to the Sex, Love, and SuperPowers podcast show. I’m your host, Tatiana Berindei, and today our guest is Emilee Saldaya. We are going to be discussing radical birth, A Woman’s Warrior Path. Let me tell you a little bit about Emilee before we get started. Emilee Saldaya is the trailblazing leader and founder of Free Birth Society. She was a doula for over 10 years until the reality of her complicity with the obstetric system and the harm that it does to women and babies prompted her to find a better way. In aligning with Free Birth, Emilee’s dharmic path became clear. She quickly evolved into a radical birth keeper who serves women birthing outside the system. She founded Free Birth Society prior to the conscious conception of her first child and went on to give birth to her daughter freely in Maui, Hawaii.
Emilee’s acclaimed podcast, the Free Birth Society Podcast, quickly became a fan favorite and has reached millions of people. Emilee’s an inspiring and inspired coach with the ability to immediately hone in on the self-sabotage and mental blocks that keep women stuck in unproductive patterns. Her approach is warm, kind, ferocious, and transformational, giving her clients the spacious witnessing that allows them to step into their power. She lives in Colorado and frequently travels internationally as a speaker, coach, and leader. And we are delighted to have you with us on the show today.
Thank you so much. I’m going to have to change that last line about traveling internationally.
Yeah, right.
I was thinking, “I no longer do that.”
Except for right now, because none of us are traveling. So before we dive into our conversation today, we are going to go on a quick break, but I would love to hear before we do so, if you could share with us and our listeners, what your superpowers are?
Yeah. When I think of superpowers, I think of the context that I experienced them is my lane of genius, my innate gifts, which I would say are playfulness, inherent courage, and confidence, networking. I have some serious business skills. Yeah, but just my fire. I just have an innate fire of courage, confidence, and playfulness that, yeah, I would say are my innate superpowers.
Awesome. Well, I am really looking forward to experiencing more of your fire in this conversation. We are going to go on a quick break. Before we do so, will you tell our listeners where they can go to find out more about you and your work?
Yeah. Almost everything can be found at freebirthsociety.com, and our courses are at freebirthsocietycourses.com, and our authentic midwifery program for traditional midwifery is at radicalbirthkeeperschool.com.
Awesome. So we are talking with Emilee Saldaya today about radical birth, A Women’s Warrior Path. This is going to be such a good conversation, and I’m so excited about it so don’t go anywhere. Stay tuned. We’ll be right back.
