Transcendence
Día de los Muertos, Halloween, All Souls’ Day, Samhain, regardless of how we view it, October gives us an opportunity to reflect and appreciate the interconnectedness we share with the spiritual world. And if we choose to explore that connection, we come face-to-face with all kinds of questions about the nature of reality, the meaning of life, the concept of God and the very real process of dying. It offers a time to remember those who’ve touched our lives and moved on in their celestial journey. Despite all we know about our divine nature, grief and mourning continue to be the primary lenses through which we view transcendence. No topic haunts the human soul more fervently than death and no quest ever mounted more fervor than the one for immortality. What has us chasing the holy grail, even when we continue to face death as something to be feared?
The Series
In this IM Series called Transcendence, we explore what it takes to transcend the concept of death in multiple layers of the human experience. This series opens the doorway between living and dying as a human incarnate and living and transcending as an eternal entity. It invites us to explore how we identify and the resulting way that we view the world. We start with looking at the physical representation of death and how our relationships form with our bodies through fear of that end. Then we move on to the self, the identity we connect with beyond the body. And, finally, we explore the soul experience and transcend even that which we think we know about our divine connections.
In this series, you’ll:
- Learn how body identification roots us into a logical, but erroneous fear of death.
- Learn the process of transcendence through various identifications.
- Discover how body identification leads to a world rooted in fear
