Giving Thanks

As we approach the final weeks of 2021, we start to feel the shift, that inevitable pull into the changing seasons and the close out to another three hundred and sixty-five days. These shifts remind us that the cosmic cycle continues to move, regardless of what life looks like or how things seem. They ignite the awareness that the larger conversation is always happening. The bigger worldview is always present. And the invitation always invites us to dive more deeply into ourselves in order to connect into all that is and ever has been.

But before we’re able to lean into the cosmic embrace, we must first be willing to look at all of the ways we keep ourselves separate and at arms-length from the divine. And the easiest way to witness this is by looking at how we keep ourselves separate and at arm-length from each other. During the holidays, this becomes even more apparent, especially when tensions are heightened and differences of opinions seem to be at the forefront of everyone’s minds.
