Do you believe that money is energy? In this episode of Incorporating Superpowers, host Justin Recla and guests Peg Donahue and Madeline Gerwick revolve their conversation on money and how it is not what most people believe it to be. Peg and Madeline are both energy workers who have come together to co-author the book “Money is an Energy Game.” They think that money is energy and the right energy attracts more. Join Justin, Peg, and Madeline for you to know how to play the money and energy game to avoid frustration and create new potentials for success.
Justin Recla:
Welcome back to Incorporating Superpowers. Today, we are going to crack the matrix wide open because this conversation is going to be one that you probably heard us talk about on the Superpower Network and as part of Superpower Experts, but probably not in the manner in which the conversation is going to unfold today because the conversation today is all about money as energy. We just happen to have the two authors of the book, Money is an Energy Game, with us today on the show to talk about what this exactly means.
Now, if you’ve been following anything about the matrix, and cryptocurrency, and digital assets and all that kind of stuff, and you understand the concept of energy and how energy works, then this conversation, you’re going to want to listen to because as I was telling our guests before the show, Tonya refused to marry me until I read a very similar book on this. She wanted to make sure I understood the concept that money is energy and if you’re going to attract more money into your life, you have to get these concepts and understand them before you can really truly start building wealth for yourself.
My guests today are Peg Donahue and Madeline Gerwick, the authors of Money is an Energy Game. Ladies, thank you so much for being here today.
Madeline Gerwick:
Delighted to be here.
Peg Donahue:
It’s really a pleasure.
Justin Recla:
This conversation is very timely. I think as social consciousness continues to awaken and arise to higher frequencies, understanding that money is energy is huge. I’m going to throw out the first question and either one of you can answer it. How did you get to that understanding for yourself so you could write a book and share it with the world?
Madeline Gerwick:
Well, first of all, I just want to mention that the name of the book is Money is an Energy Game, so we need that last word for people to find it, Money is an Energy Game, but in terms of how we came to that understanding, both Peg and I come from completely different areas of learning about energy. As an astrologer, astrology is basically the study of energy cycles. Peg does feng shui and has done a lot of space clearings and other types of energy work. Independently, we learned that everything is energy. At the core of everything, is energy. There really is nothing else except energy at the core of everything. Your energy is either attracting or pushing away money, which is another form of energy. It just happens to be the form of energy that we exchange energy with other people. We came to it from different forms of understanding energy and then added a number of other understandings to it from other perspectives.
Justin Recla:
I love that. Isn’t that the way it kind of works now. Now, Peg, you come from energy work as well. What was it like for you and your journey with understanding how money works?
Peg Donahue:
Well, so I come from the feng shui perspective. The premise behind feng shui is that your space is a reflection of your inner self, so it’s all energy as well. Prior to doing feng shui, I had a mainstream job. I worked in the corporate field for over 21 years and I knew back in those days, that our environment made a big difference. In fact, in our company, in the mid-80s, we went through corporate quality training. One of the rules for the company was neatness. That was one of our mottoes and requirements that all areas of the company had to be neat. I knew that, well before that in my areas with the teams that I managed, we had to keep them neat and orderly.
Sometimes, I would move into a new area and people that moved out had left their file cabinets behind, chock full of papers and files that they didn’t take with them. I just had them delivered up to their spaces. I got them out of my space and made sure that my areas were neat and clean, and I always typically would bring flowers in because I felt that the shift in energy, just made it a very vibrant space. It turns out once I understood the language behind feng shui, that chi is energy. There’s no translation for the word chi from Chinese to English. The best word is energy. It’s about the life force that flows through our space, flows through our bodies, flows through our lives, and in our spaces as well, there are areas that relate to prosperity. From a Western feng shui perspective, it’s the back left corner of your space, your home, your land, every room in your home. The same with your office and your workspace, wherever you are.
When we place what we call the feng shui Bagua, or the map of life issues over our space up, back left corner, if you will, from how you come into space. You just look up to that back left. That holds the energy of prosperity. Over the years, many people have contacted me and other feng shui practitioners to help them get a jumpstart on a flow of money or flow of prosperity. That’s an area that we will typically work with them on. I’ll tell you, once they clean it up, and release blockages and get a flow going, then money starts to appear.
Justin Recla:
Well, you’re making me sound really smart right now. I really feel really smart right now because I just moved my home office into the back left side of the house.
Peg Donahue:
That is awesome. That sounds like a very intuitive move.
Well, it was funny because it was the center of the house, and the last year and a half were amazing because we would put it in the center of the house. Last year and a half were closer to the back left, so I can hardly wait to see what happens from this point moving forward.
Peg Donahue:
Absolutely. The interesting thing is the energy at the center of your house, whatever is happening there permeates throughout the entire space. It may be that you couldn’t get away from your work for the last year.Â
Justin Recla:
There was COVID and everything, but we had our heads down, but you know what was amazing from it? Is that the network went over 1.5%. It got ranked in the top 1.5% of all podcasts globally.
Peg Donahue:
That is awesome.
Justin Recla:
There is energy there as well. Ladies, I want to dive down this rabbit hole a little bit further because this concept of money as an energy game is huge, but before we go on break, where can people go to find more information about you?
Madeline Gerwick:
They can go to moneyisanenergygame.com. On the author page, both Peg and I have our separate websites on author page for anyone who might want to check us out for something either related to astrology or feng shui, but the book itself. And there are two different types of books, the Kindle and the printed one. Either one can be ordered from that site and if they sign up for a newsletter, they can get a free PDF of the first chapter.
Justin Recla:
Fantastic. Folks, go get a copy of the book. I guarantee it’s going to change the way that you see money, how you interact with money, how you attract money, how you spend money and it will really give you a different perspective on how money works. For those of you that want to come play in this world a little bit further, a little bit deeper and explore that, go take a look at the Superpower Universe at superpowerexperts.com. Come play with us. You can join for free or get the superpower plus membership and dive down the rabbit hole even further. Stay tuned. We will be right back.
