ISP – Insider Tips to Scale Business
Justin Recla:
Welcome back to Incorporating Superpowers. Today, we are going to get some insider secrets and how to scale your business. That’s right there. There are a lot of people out there that are scaling businesses and teaching courses on how to scale businesses. But really when the rubber hits the road, it comes down to people. It comes down to having systems, processes, and people that you can trust. But how do you get those people in place to scale in the way that you need to scale to be able to grow your business? My guest today is Ana Santiago. She is the Operations Director at Outsource School, and I got to be honest folks.
She’s the insider that you all need to be listening to because she comes from the Virtual Assistant world. Now she’s the Operations Director for Outsource School and just a full-blown testimonial. The founders of Outsource School are the reason why The Clear Business Directory, as well as the Superpower Network and the Superpower Podcasts, are as big as they are. How will we have 20 shows? It’s why we’d be able to scale our business and everything that we do. Ana, I’m super excited to talk to you and get these secrets out to the world so people can start scaling their businesses. Welcome to the show.
Ana Santiago:
Thank you so much for having me. I’m so excited about today. Like Justin said, my name is Ana Santiago. I am the CEO of Outsource School, just really pumped to be here.
Justin Recla:
So you’ve been in the Virtual Assistant role in Rome and the world for some time now. And you seeing behind the scenes how businesses scale?
For those that of you know that don’t know Outsource School was created after a very successful venture with FreeUp, which was an outsourced provider, VA outsourcing provider Nathan and Connor scaled FreeUp, built it up, and sold it off. They did so with the use of nothing but virtual assistance. So Ana, talk to me a little bit about what’s the mission of Outsource School?
Ana Santiago:
So after they scaled and sold Outsource School, which was like, you mentioned, completely run by Virtual Assistants toward the end. A lot of people or clients from FreeUp were asking Nathan and Connor, how did you do it? Can you build a course and sell it? So Nathan and Connor built off of that idea. Then Outsource School came into existence. We first focused on the four keys, which are interviewing, onboarding training, and managing Virtual Assistants. It’s our main course called Cracking the VA Code. And then later they just decided to build that out even more.
So now we have about 20 playbooks that revolve around building out, outsourcing your entire operations, and marketing. So we have just a few dimensions. We have like a partnership playbook, an influencer playbook, we have a web developer playbook and social media management. We have a bunch of basics too, like email management, calendar management, and a lot more. So I used to be able to save them all in one breath, but we keep adding new content every month. That’s why it’s great for people who are just starting to scale or for people as well who have hit maybe six or seven figures already, but still, need to improve their systems and processes. Because there’s always room for improvement.
Justin Recla:
That there is, especially if you want to continue to grow and build. I want to dive into this a little bit further on the back side of this conversation here because I want you to go over some of the key points that people should be looking at when they’re starting to scale, they realize it in the scale. But before we talk about that, where can people go find more information about you?
Ana Santiago:
Yes. Love this. Okay, outsourceschool.com is the website. Then of course you can feel free to reach out to me at [email protected]. That’s my personal work email. And from there you can always just book a call with me if you want to learn more about your personal business and how we can help you.
