Welcome, everyone. I am Tonya Dawn Recla, your messenger today here on the IM show and I’m really delighted to… For a couple of reasons. One, because we’re introducing the new series, which is always a lot of fun, but also because I’m joined today with AngelaMaría, who is our brilliant, amazing, bright shining light, our coordinator for the IM show for the IM series. She’s doing it all on the back end folks, the IM, and you know that she’s going to be coming front and center in this stuff because she is absolutely this beautiful container for the embodiment of the IM. And so, and you’ll know, as soon as I let her talk here, just a second, which I promise I will, how brilliant that light is for her and what a gift she is to our organization.

So I’m super thrilled that she’s joining us today. I’m really thrilled about the topic of incorporating superpowers because I know so many of you are really struggling with this concept of how do you take this high vibe, spiritual concepts, and apply them to business. And Angie has been along for this wild and crazy ride for years now with us. And so she gets to shine her own version of the light on top of this one. So let’s join in welcoming her to the show. Angie, thank you so much for being here.

Tonya Dawn Recla:

Hmm. Beautiful. I love that. And I know so many of you, we’ve been doing the network for so long now I’ve interviewed thousands of really guided visionaries in their businesses. And one of the most challenging things is how do you build, right? How do you cohere around some of these really divergent concepts? And one of the places that we’ve spent a lot of time in the study of, or what we call di-con models, divergent convergent models, that allow for the visionary to kind of view out, but also actually result in real sustainable material results in… And I know folks in the organization kind of have to grapple with the constant reminder that the energetics have to be considered first. Right? Love has to be considered first. That win-win-win commitment that we have of only developing solutions that are win-win-win, everybody involved to include the collective has to be able to benefit from this.

And it takes business into this whole other stratosphere. I think it’s secretly what we all really want to do and want to play with, but it’s just not how we’ve seen it. And I know we touch on that in the first message around the better business. That’s the concept that we’re going to be tackling in that first message of this series because there’s a really big difference between just wanting to do the typical business thing better versus really creating better business models. And so how do you, how do we encourage people to kind of go in that direction?

AngelaMaría:

I think that for you to be aware of the importance of that direction as you called it, I think it’s after you have failed and after you have tried many other ways that they don’t work the best way because that is exactly what happened to me. I don’t know if you remember when I started the business that I talked to you and I told you, “Oh, and I have this business coach and blah, blah, blah,” and I don’t remember exactly your words, but it was something like, “Are you aware that you are your business? Like there is not any older person who can really know about your business than yourself.” And that’s when I started wondering about business models and how each of us has that specific touch for our own business, but for us to realize it and to make the decision to take a different route, I think that we need to fail.

And after that moment is when I realized that I need to take my business on a different route and just be listening more to myself, my own intuition, and being aware of what exactly do I want with my business. That basically the answer was what God wants me to do with my business.

Tonya Dawn Recla:

Well, it takes real courage to go left when everyone’s telling you to go right. And it really does come down to what you spoke about at the beginning of who’s in charge, right? And when we made God, the CEO, like really truly, not just in the theoric sort of fluffy sense of like, oh, Nah, God’s my copilot. No, that means we consult with God. We don’t assume to know. And, and we let that vision, that divine vision show us where the next lighted step is in front of us. We’re going to dive into this topic more deeply, as you can tell, there are so many layers here to unpack folks, but before we do, we’re going to cut to a break.
