Energy synthesis. Sheevaun Moran joins Tonya Dawn Recla to talk about her superpowers of energy synthesis as in business, leadership, and spirituality.
Hello this is Tonya Dawn Recla, your Super Power Expert. I am delighted to have with me today, as I listen to her speak, and you’ll hear it too. I don’t even need to say this, but I’m going to brag a little bit anyway. I see her standing with this magic wand, just waving it. And the result of that confidence that she wields that magic wand is impactful across the world. I can see the ripple effect as I see her waving it. She is a woman whose help over 25,000 entrepreneurs really breakthrough where I see so many people sitting in that space of like how do you really make this life successful? How do we really create and master that space? And she does it from that place of business which is so extremely crucial right now for the world and for all of us. Please join me in welcoming her to the show. Sheevaun Moran. Is it Moran?
That’s exactly right! It’s the best ever!
That’s very cool. Well she’s delightful and I know you all are going to really enjoy her. I want to jump right into the interview. So, welcome Sheevaun. Thanks for joining us.
I’m excited. Thank you.
Very cool. So, as we like to do with I guess I’m going to ask you what are your Super Powers?
I would say if somebody say it in one word, it would be energy. But it’s effectively the synthesis of energy as it applies to business, in leadership, impact, influence, spirituality, bringing the entire whole of a life into the way of moving ahead with an upward trend. So, I really am able to see into the future and just really dial that in for somebody and just cut to the chase.
I love it. I love the synthesizing energy. That’s powerful. It will tell you exactly why I love those because I this is one of my soapboxes. I harp all the time on Lightworkers and changes them all these folks that we have who have this amazing information, but they’re not doing anything with it. And I think with that integration piece where the surface of this piece where those two meet up of the action and actually creating with that knowledge is so crucial. So, the synthesizing energies, that’s a powerful statement I may have to borrow that I put a little footnote but that’s where I got that from.
Thanks.
So, let’s talk a little bit about how you moved into doing this work for entrepreneurs. What did that journey look like for you?
I landed here. When they say it’s divine, it’s wow! Who knew? I lived on the East Coast, came to California. I had always wanted to live here. And one of the first companies I worked for out here was an entrepreneur. And I loved what they did because there were 12 of us when we started and we had this giant building, and they were like we’re going to fill this and we’re going to grow this. I thought this sounds fun. And it was hard and it was a lot of hours, but it was amazing. And so, we grew that out, and that sold for about 150 million dollars. And then I moved on and did that several more times. And after certain benchmarks and money, people start to get too big for britches, and the fun, at least for me, started to fade. The start-up fun and was kind of gone. And so, I looked for another, and another, and another, and did that a whole bunch of times.
One of the companies that I ended up with is a little tiny Pharma company. I liked their mission, they finally convinced me to come onboard after my consulting with them and build their systems, and their customer service, and really get sales going for them. And I loved what I did so much that I ended up getting sick, miss diagnosed and nearly dying from blood poisoning because I didn’t pay attention to my body. I was really stricken by this sickness, laying in the emergency room and being like, “Oh my god. I am so not going to die here.”
And heard getting back to the time when my husband had died several years before that. And I was like, “I am not here just to go away. I was not left here just to go away and really not pay attention.” So, I said, “OK. So, inject me with whatever you’re going to inject me with an ongoing home.” They’re like, “No! People stay here for two weeks.” “No. Inject me with your stuff and I’m actually going to sign these things and go home.” And it was really at that moment when all of my past dealings with doctors and no way of handling them came together of like I don’t believe in drugs. I don’t believe in putting them in my body. I believe that there’s another way. I just didn’t know it until that moment when I said I’m going to go home to heal myself and deal with what that meant at the time.
And so, I got home, I lay on the sofa, and I was like, “OK, I’m going to think about everything I’ve done in order to get my life to this point.” And so, I healed myself. And it took me about two months to heal myself. Then I went to Mexico, and I started thinking a little bit more about how am I going to pull all of this toxin, I now call it “poopy hill,” but how am I going to take all of these toxins that are in my system, how am I going to get that out? So, I actually sat in the ocean for two weeks solid. I obviously went back to my hotel room, but, really, as much as I could throughout the day. And I came back and started taking this energy healing class. I’m in the class and I’m the only executive in the class. I’m rolling my eyes and like, “Oh my god! These people are talking about chakras and cockle doodle things! What are these people doing!” If all I ever do is just get this to make me not ever be sick again, then I’m good. And that’s really the reason I stayed. And then toward the end of the first day they did this thing and they shared this technique that would strike with me that I still teach to this day. If you’re letting other people suck the life force out of you, your health will go. And I thought, “Oh my god I’m doing this every time I’ve been speaking in front of large audiences that’s what I do in a corporate.” So. OK this is important this is good. Fine. If all I ever do is just do some experiments to see if it really works and just to use it on myself, I’m good. This is pretty cool.
Next thing I’m opening one healing clinic, two, three, four here in Southern California. I got invited to colleges, I was teaching at corporations. It just kept going and going and going. What really was interesting was during this whole time I was trying to prove that it wouldn’t work. I think I still am.
I can appreciate that.
I was trying to prove that wouldn’t work in it. Working in a fascinating piece was couple turning points, or a couple of pivots. I went to Nepal and I saved this woman’s life using these tools that I just learned. I worked on her for seven hours after she had a massive stroke because there are no doctors around, and she’s alive because of what little thing I know as an executive. This is wild. OK. This is important. And so, I was addicted from that point to the result and what could happen. And then the next one was when a client said to me, “I’ve been talking with my friends and the folks that I work with, nd I need to tell you something that I don’t think you know.” Ok, sure. And she said, “My real estate business has really taken off.” And apparently, it had been really struggling for a couple of years before that. And she said, “My relationship is better. My real estate has taken off. I don’t feel like a loser mom anymore.” She goes on. I was like, “Oh.” And it just started it. All the bells started bringing where it was just like, “Oh, I am a business builder. I know my first language is computer science, second is business, and third is energy.” And it’s ours the way I was trained.
And so, I ended up waking up to that and realizing that energy, this energy thing is super important in business and almost more important than in business than it is in health. And I ended up meeting Laurel Langemeier, she became a client of mine in order for her a bunch of things in her life to get turned around. And they did within a short amount of time. She’s like, “I never experienced anybody like you.” I thought, “OK that’s nice.” And how we do this thing of “Oh that’s cool.” And she said that is something we can do some PR. She went to some PR firm, and like OK sure whatever. Sure. Great.
And she asked me this one question, and maybe this will resonate with you and your listeners. She said, “How many people have you worked with?” And I was, “I don’t know. I never counted them.” And she said, “I don’t know 100?” “Oh no.” She says, “A dozen?” And I was like, “Oh god no.” And I said, “Wait, just hang on. Let me think about this for a second.” So, I started thinking about the classes in I had offices in four states and did all kinds of things. And I said, “Well.” At the time it was about it was about 15,000. I said, “I’m going to give you a low number. I mean to give you a low number, probably about half of what I’ve done. But it’s like that’s what I can feel comfortable with.” And so, I said 15,000, and she started screaming at the top of her lungs to me and said, “OK, do you know that that’s a lot.” And I was like, “No, Is it?” She says, “I have helped people that work with a thousand people. And it’s impossible. I want like every single record to prove it.” And she’s like, “You need to tell people.” And I thought, “Well 15,000 isn’t a lot. One hundred thousand is a lot.” She says, “No.” So, she started telling me stories. and I thought, “Oh, I get it. I get that that’s unusual.” So, I started owning that and really bringing that forth. And then bringing the business and the energetics together.
I love that. So, reminiscent of many aspects of my journey because it does. It’s like you don’t know that it’s different. And then when I experience stuff like that going through being a spy. And then I got to do some cool stuff in that arena that. You don’t know it’s unusual when you’re in the middle of it. And in the end, to get the affirmation or accolades afterwards, it perplexed me enough that I didn’t feel differently about it. I felt like, “OK that’s a really unique thing and a really amazing thing. And shouldn’t I have a ton of pride in that or something?” And I just didn’t. So, I went digging under the surface like well why? Why don’t I feel that way? And it wasn’t that I had self-esteem issues, it was just literally I was able to piece together at least for myself that it was such a natural part of my process and journey. I would collect these credentials and these experiences so that I could be effective doing the work that I was doing. It was just in my experience of it, was very “ho hum,” very commonplace. It was fun. It was certainly, I had adventures. Like you said, long hours, but I did it. It was fun to build those businesses, especially when you’re surrounded by everybody else who’s doing it. So, it’s like, it’s really not that big of a deal. Other people are doing it. So, it’s neat to hear your reflection of that for your specific journey.
It’s been an awesome, awesome journey.
Very cool. I shared with you a little bit. My latest kick is the prophecy of the Eagle and Condor concept of separation. Some of our listeners have heard me mention this before.
The story goes that in 1490, there was this division between Eagle and the condor. The eagle side was business money piece of things and the Condor was the spiritual consciousness journey. And the prediction was, that for five hundred years, they would stay separate, and then, after five hundred years, they can come back together. But it would take work. We would have to consciously choose to do that. That would bring us to 1990.
I can see of course, we see what we want to see, but I can see how it all fits together. I really appreciate the matter of fact way that you, I don’t know if it appears matter of fact to you.
I’m very matter of fact. That’s my personality.
Well and in I sense that from you. And it helps create that confidence for people to follow you because it’s like, it just is.
I appreciate that aspect of what you exude because we need that sort of matter of fact, cellular confidence to say, “Look you can be wildly successful here like however you choose to define that. And that doesn’t mean that you’re somehow turning your back on the journey the spiritual dream.” I think that we’ve wrapped up this poverty destitute to desolation ideas into that journey as a badge of honor. And what happens if it is just easy. Does that make you less self-actualize? Does that make you less enlightened if it’s just easy and really starting to counter some of that and to me you’re just you just emulate it, which is really cool.
Thank you.
Yeah. Obviously, you share your story. you persevered. You survived you had some medical stuffier loss and so you certainly had your own. Edition of the Hero’s Journey. And. I can see how you will have that thread throughout all of which is really beautiful.
Yeah. I would say, I just followed divine alignment. And I didn’t know of such a thing until I realized that this is not a really common thing. It’s not something that people pay attention to. And I have had enough loss in my life that just life’s too freaking short. I’m going to just do what I’m here to do whatever that is. And just be who I am and be as kind on this journey as I can, while being who I am, and really teaching things.
People don’t really get heard. And that’s one of my biggest frustration points is the polarity of, well you can’t be a spiritual person and have a lot of money, you can’t have a lot of money and hold on to your spirituality, and those things just don’t often, even though a lot of conversation and it’s supposedly happening still. I have a business where I do this, and we have thousands of people that are in this drama and trauma on a regular, consistent basis. And we have so many dynamics to resolve. And most people don’t even know how to run a real business. They’re living, not even just paycheck to paycheck, they’re living idea to idea. And it’s hurtful. It hurts the psyche and it hurts the business community.
Well I agree completely. And it does a number on the collective. And I also see how that serves people in their journeys and whether what they’re creating for themselves. And I do see, that the other hat that we wear is a business advisement peice. We’ve seen many, many people who come into business thinking that that’s it. And they really do create just another duplication of whatever was holding them back in the previous, whether they came from employment or not. But most people go through breaking out of the employment model to now the business model. But they recreate the same trappings because to push through them is… On the other side of that it could be scary. We don’t know what that looks like and it’s one of those places where you just have to take some leaps of faith. To truly have sovereignty and mastery over your own existence is still a fairly novel concept. I like that you voice that. We give it a lot of lip service, but so few people that I experience are really truly willing to live at that level of self-responsibility. And that’s the make or break it that really does determine where people are going to fall in terms of their liberation or frequency in which they operate.
So, I appreciate that you’ve affirmed that. I say that I appreciate it, on one hand I find it really depressing because with having encountered all those people, maybe I was hoping that you saw the statistics being dramatically different than what I was saying, and maybe it was just my short sightedness. But I do. I don’t see very many people, at least right now statistically, who are able to really move into that space.
Well that’s why I do what I do. And that’s why I get excited because I can get them there, and I do get them there. I see the ripples and I see what they do and I see what they continue off to do. And it’s really like, I call it a resolution. It resolving all of the poopy ways of thinking, being, doing, and having. And so, whenever we get into a resolution and we teach people how to resolve this in very unique, custom ways, in groups, or one-on-one or or in all of the different models that we have. People do go out and do massive things and they do stay aligned, and they do anchor. I’m just getting started. I feel like that every morning.
I love that I love that drive.
I’ve been doing this a long time. And I was having a conversation with somebody last night, a Special Forces person passing. He said that there’s a DNA of every five years, people lose sight of what was before. And I was like how that makes so much sense. So I’m in my third year almost my fourth, five year cycle of helping people remember how to get to their next place.
Say that theory again. How does it work?
So they did a study because he was in the he was a hostage negotiator, and he would see every five years would seem to just forget all of, the way of how to do it and really how to how to move through to that next level. And so, they started tracking it and they tracked it to about every five years people will lose all of the insights and they lose all of the memories and lose all the way to get to the next level. And then there’d be this whole other uprising of new folks you’re ready to jump in and take the mantle. So it was about every five years people will really shift.
That’s really fascinating how people feel into that. I was noticing that when I was in college I was really involved in race issues, discrimination issues, that type of thing. And I always find it fascinating when I we move back to Phoenix because I’ve gone to ASU. And I saw the same thing happening over and over. And I’m like what did we do? We implemented some very institutional changes and everything else. I’m like OK. By all definition, they should have been able to build on that. But it’s the same conversation still happening. And I’m like that was quite a while ago. And I felt the same way even in the midst of it thinking, “Didn’t we go through this already?” Like you hear all about even civil rights stuff now and women’s rights and all kinds of topics that you would figure we had already worked through. Enough that they shouldn’t be circling back around. But I wonder if that’s part of that of your concept.
I suspect, I really suspect it is.
Very cool. Well we could definitely dive down that rabbit hole for quite a while. But I want to respect your time. So, let’s move on to the question that I really love to close out with, we call it the Live In Your Power Story. It was an example of the time when you heard that intuitive calling. I know that you live that way, but do you remember what it was like when you were first starting to operate in that way and can you share an example?
Yeah. I’ll go back to fairly early on. My husband had died about a year before I got something in the mail, it was like come and live in Spain. And I was like yep that’s exactly what I’m doing. I didn’t really know, I didn’t even speak Spanish, I had no clue. The best thing I did was live in another country and really learn the culture and learn how that whole dynamic of reinvention, reintroduction to life in a way that you couldn’t ever imagine. The feeling was exponential, doing that. And it was just a wickedly loud. Absolutely, I’m doing this. Yes, I did call my family and friends and say, “I think I’m a little off, but I’m going to go and live in Spain.” And they said, “Yes, you should.” And I was like OK great. That sounds exactly right. So, that’s what that’s like. I haven’t told that.
That’s awesome. Thank you for sharing it. It’s another great testament to sometimes those leaps of faith make all the difference. And deep inside that’s the what you’re hearing that yes to in taking action when you hear the yes instead of going into debate with yourself around it is a powerful place to be.
And it was like a lot of money. I mean I was to be taken care of and all these things and it was like a lot of money. I had never put in that chunk of change down in that way before. And I thought, Yes! There are there is there can’t be anything other than a yes because I was going to help present it to everybody just to sell them into it.
I love it. I love that one great example thank you so much for sharing and I know our listeners are going to want to find out more about you. Where can we send them?
