Managing Emotional Triggers
Describe a past situation where you experienced an emotional trigger and then went into a story around it, ultimately creating more negative energy for yourself. Rewrite that situation to reflect you recognizing that you are not your emotions — and thus choosing a different response. Identify a statement that you can use, in the future, as an anchor to bring yourself back to calm and integrate your emotions.
