Blessings, Soul Family. This is Jewels, and I am so excited about today’s guest on Cosmic Consciousness, Coding The New Human for The New Earth. I have Melinda Curley with me today, and Melinda is doing a show on the Evolution Channel called The Frequency of Creativity. Melinda is a fantastic artist, and she’s really taking art to the next level by bringing frequency patterns into her work. Welcome to the show, Melinda, and why don’t you just tell us a little bit about yourself.
Thank you, Jewels. I’m so excited to be with you today. Thank you for inviting me. You wanted me to share a little bit about myself. Briefly, I am an abstract artist, and this is my home. I spent 25 years in corporate marketing at one point, then I went back to school and got my master’s of fine arts and poetry, which I loved. And then I started to paint to be a better poet. And then when I started to paint, then I knew this is what I truly love, and this is my passion, and, what I said before, it’s my home.
I love the physicality of painting. I love the texture. I just love everything about it. And now we live in the Appalachian Mountains and I have a 1928 chestnut log cabin. That is my art studio and I paint outside in the woods. I’m surrounded by the old-growth of the Appalachian Mountains, and I just feel this healing, verdant, strong energy. There’s a snowmelt stream. There are ferns. The trees are 300 years old. And my easel, I have a stump that I put in front of an old oak tree and that’s my easel.
What I love about the painting for me is connecting with that energy, connecting with nature, and then painting from that same frequency. And that’s what painting is about for me
Oh, that’s so beautiful. And as you were speaking, I can just feel the atmosphere that you’ve created for yourself, just bringing in the streamlines of patterns that are just flowing through you and that you’re creating onto a canvas, which is just really a beautiful space. The official tagline for the show is “Exploring the Energetics of Art.” My show is about how artists encode energy into their artwork that others can experience that helps the viewer open their awareness and open their vision and expand their vision.
Oh, that’s beautiful. And I also was hearing that it is through expanding their vision and connecting to those frequencies, that it is a pathway of ascension, whether or not they’re aware of it or not, that they’re picking up on that frequency and it’s literally changing the frequency of their own bodies or their consciousness. That’s so beautiful.
